Harry Potter Question

What are your favourite book scenes which aren't in the films?

What parts in the books do you like that are omitted from the films? What do you wish they'd included?

For me, I can sum most up in one word. Explanations.

I also like the scenes at the end of book 4, the last chapters which feel like you're seeing the school and the Order prepare for the second war.

Also, more of the Dumbledore's Army revelation in book 7.

I might add more as comments later.

-the scene in the fifth book where McGonagall puts Umbride in her place and when Peeves is unscrewing the chandalier to upset Umbridge and McGonagall tells him it comes loose the other way.

-The scene in the seventh book where Harry exonerates Snape

-The memories of Snape that show why Lily didnt go out with him and how he tried to apologize.

-Snape's full memory in the fifth book.

Everything. Seriously, although it seems a bit of a lazy answer I really enjoy reading all the scenes in the books that weren't in the movies (I'm a fan that watched movies before reading the books).
