Harry Potter Question

Did reading the Harry Potter series expand your reading (Make you read more)?

I started reading Harry Potter when I was about 11, when the third book was already out.
I was not really a reader at all, in fact I hated it, but when I started reading Harry Potter it made me realize all books can be amazing and different in their own way.
After I read all the books. I became a HUGE Bookworm like Hermione, reading all the time.
So, did HP make you want to read more?

well yes and no. i didn't like reading at all either, but then i decided to read harry potter. i love reading now! well certain books. i like fantasy/ fiction books. you know those books you can read over and over and over again and each time you do you get a different message wich always benefits you for the better? such as the lord of the rings, eragon, the daron shan series, the chronicles of narnia. harry potter inspired me to just read the fun books that allow you to use your imagination.

Yes! It's so strange, because I never really liked reading. I mean, I read all the boring stuff at school, and I didn't enjoy that at all. But after Harry Potter I just really started to read.
I've read The Lord of the Rings, The Sisterhood of the traveling Pants, Princess's Diaries, Twilight, and so many books. And it's interesting now, because I don't like short books, I like when there are more parts, and that's all because of Harry Potter...
And the books in school are now much more interesting, I really like some of those books we have to read.
So yeah, Harry Potter did expand my reading.

Nope. I'm reading since 6 years and i read tones of books before Harry Potter, which I read first time when I was 8, and after that I kept reading books, so Harry Potter haven't influenced on me to read more. But it's one of my favorite books

I was already reading a lot but THAT was because of reading Warriors (but reading Harry Potter probably would have sparked it w/out Warriors)
