5 songs I got while I listened to my itunes on shuffle. And 5 stories as a result of these 5 songs.
Somehow my iPod seems to have a weird affection for either german or instrumental songs.
*lol*.
I hope the stories are good and that you like them.
Enjoy.

Roboter – Revolverheld Cuddy

Another day was over. And nothing had changed. It didn't seem as if things would change soon or at anytime.
Sometimes Cuddy wondered if her life had become what she had ever feared it to become: boring and predictable. Maybe she had become boring and predictable too.

Everyday was the same: She got up, took a shower, got dressed, put some make-up on and ate breakfast before she started on her way to the hospital.
Actually she had achieved everything in her life, well at least in her career , she had ever wanted.
But the price she had to pay for it was high, she had no personal life. At all. No friends, except Wilson...but their friendship was rather superficial...and House...if you could call House a friend.

It was kind of ironic...though she had everything she had ever wanted and worked so hard for, she was not happy. Sometimes she felt like a robot, programmed, constructed to simply do her work...with no room for feelings.
And the really bad and sad thing about it was the fact that she had been the one who had created this situation, she had been the one who had surrendered...and now she was trapped inside herself and inside this world which she did not like at all deep in her heart.
But there was still this small glimpse of hope that she would be able to change it. Sometime. And with that hope Cuddy lived day by day, protecting it like the most precious thing she owned...and maybe this was the case.

Hold the line – Jeanette House/Cuddy (Cuddy's POV)

She had to do it. Someone had to make the first move. And now she felt brave enough to actually do it, though she could and would probably be rejected.
With a feeling of indifference that was completely new to her, she had left her office and made towards his.
The feeling didn't fade away, a rare thing when it came to him.

She was not nervous, neither anxious nor tensed up, it was the only chance she had...but at the same time it was a very comfortable thought. It was now or never.
He could not hurt her more than he had done before. So why should she be afraid?
It was actually quite easy, she would enter the room and would tell him what she had thought of for such a long time.
That she wanted to be with him, no matter what the others were thinking, no matter if he was that selfish, misanthropic, manipulative jerk he considered himself.

She was in love with him, and she knew that he was not indifferent about her too.
Cuddy opened the door to House's office and entered the room, looked at House's rather puzzled face and closed the door behind her.

Speak Of The Devil - Sum 41 House (House/Stacy)

When he had woken up again, he first had not known where he was.
And then he had felt a throbbing in his left thigh that had almost made him scream.
But he had grit his teeth and tried to keep his breath regular. Without any success.
Stacy had been sitting there for a long time, he could tell from her clothes that were the same as the day before.

Now she was sleeping and holding his hand in hers, and he had felt the warmth her body was radiating.
A sudden impetus of affection had run through his body and if he had been able to kiss her, he would have done it.
She was the thing he needed most, the person that understood him best, a person that was equal to him.

And one day everything had changed, she was gone forever. The worst five years of his entire life had followed and when she came back he didn't know what to think, especially when she had wanted his help to cure her husband.
Though he had not been Prince Charming, his behaviour had got worse. He wanted to hurt her as much as he wanted to love her.
In the end, they had an affair and she was torn between him and her husband.
Stacy came to House and told him that she had decided in favour of him. House seemed to have achieved his goal but somehow he knew it would just turn out bad again...and therefore he sent her away.

Ohne dich – Rammstein House/Wilson (friendship) (mention of Cuddy)

"House! HOUSE!"
Wilson's voice brought him back to reality.
House lifted his head, slowly, incredibly slowly, so it seemed to him, and looked at his friend.

"We have to move on".

He was well aware of the ambiguity of his words. For House it didn't really matter, he was too exhausted, too deadened to react to his friends' words.
Everything seemed to happen in slow motion but though the words needed some time to reach his mind and to affect his head, he knew that Wilson was right.
And so he stepped aside, cleared the way for the others and glanced one last time at the heavy, wooden coffin that contained everything his life had been about the past few months.

She looked so fragile, awfully fragile and pale, but a faint aura of peace surrounded her and even though he refused to believe in the afterlife, he hoped that she had won her peace.
A gentle, but determining hand pulled him with it and he didn't even try to struggle.

They had been dating for six months, secretly, only one person had known about it.
The day the accident had happened he had waited for her, anxiously, because they had had an argument the day before and he had finally come to make a desicion and was ready to tell her.

She had never arrived.

"We have to move on"
the words were played in loops in his head, once again and again, endlessly, so that he thought he would become mad.
But there was no madness, only emptiness and pain, but he was used to pain, he had been used to it for a long time.
And so he followed Wilson outside, looked at the grey sky that suited his mood so perfectly and knew that it would turn blue again, that the earth would continue turning and that everything and everyone would move on.
Sooner or later.
And that everything would come to an end.
It was the only comfort he had.

Sometimes – Papa Roach House

In hindsight he wouldn't have changed anything. His life was far beyond being perfect but it was his life.
Nothing and nobody had to right to interfere, to tell him what he had to do, to try to make him feel "better" because he was pitiful.
Maybe they were right, but it was already too late for changes, furthermore he did not believe in any changes at all.
He did not need any help, he had to do this alone, he wanted to do this alone, but certain people didn't understand him and his attitude.

House opened his Vicodin box and took two pills. You get used to everything, and he was used to be miserable, to be alone.
Even though his life was spinning out of control sometimes, and he was unsure what to do...something which did not better his misery, he rejected any help because no one could actually help him.
It were his issues, he had to deal with them, or not to deal with them, whatever he prefered to do.
According to this principle he had lived his entire life and it was familiar to him.
Absent-minded, House turned the cane between his fingers and enjoyed the silence in his office.
He might be miserable but he had accepted his misery which made his life more bearable than life of people who hid their true feeling behind a facade.

So...what do you think?
Here is part 1 of 2 of the last chapter.
Enjoy

House and Cuddy get to the hotel. ‘Here we are.’
‘Wow! Have you ever been here?’
‘Well, a few days...’
She didn’t need to ask more, she knew it was with Stacy. ‘Well, okay... we go in?’
‘Sure.’
They go in and approach to the receptionist, who is typing on the computer. ‘Good evening, we’d like to book a double room.’
‘Sure. Could you tell me your name, please? And how many days do you want to book the room?’
‘Gregory House. Days...’ He looks at Lisa. ‘How many days do we have?’
‘Hmmm I-I don’t know, we could stay here about four nights.’

Not all pains are curable
because some sneak in deeper into the heart,
and while days are passing they turn into stone.
You laugh and talk as if nothing was wrong
and they seem to be coagulated to foam
but you feel their oppressive heaviness till your dream.

Next day, they wake up and go to the hospital. Cuddy is working in her office and the alarm clock sounds. She picks up the phone and calls him. ‘Greg? Can you come to my office?’
‘Right coming for another injection of love!!’
‘It even sounds good that way...’ They hang up and in some minutes he is there.
‘Good morning sunshine, let's see that gorgeous ass of yours!!!’ He prepares a syringe while Cuddy draws the curtains and goes to the table. ‘Do I really have to go through this twice a day...?’ She lifts her skirt and turns, leaning on the table, giving her back to House....

House didn’t know exactly where he was going. He’d been driving around aimlessly after the Christmas pageant with no intention of going back to his apartment. He didn’t want to admit it, but after last year’s Christmas, of which he could only remember lying in a pool of his own vomit, he wanted something more to happen...

Cuddy and Wilson walked out of the restaurant waiting for House to pull up into the parking lot. The sun was beaming and warm, it was a perfect day.
"Did you call him?"
"No need." And she pointed out House coming in. He pulled into a parking spot and waited for them to get in. Cuddy went up to his window, apparently waiting for something. He rolled down the window.
"What?"
"Get out, I'm driving."
"I'm faster."
"That's the point. You're reckless."
"It's like ten minutes from here. You trusted me with your car."
"Now I'm trusting you with my life."
"So?"

The gray clouds hovered over Princeton like a blanket. Behind them was the onyx sky, gleaming with speckled bright lights so far away. But tonight, tonight very few were shining. Over by the houses a car had pulled up in a driveway. An average height male with clean short hair, got out of his car and walked fairly quickly to the door. In the light hanging over the arch of the door, you could distinguish who he was. Wilson was knocking on House's door waiting for him to answer. He wanted to check up on him, find out what happened, how he was, and how he was feeling about this. After a minute...

Finally Bo's back after her two-chapter disappearance!

Chapter 4

By the time Thirteen picked her daughter up she was a nervous wreck. The last person in the world she wanted her daughter to meet was her boss, but she needed to keep her job. What she was the most concerned about was what House would tell her. Bo didn’t know about her…condition, and as far as Thirteen was concerned, she didn’t yet need to. She doubted House would see it that way.

“So,” Bo said, getting into the car. “Are you going to take me home and go back to work?”

"Why, hello Juan Francisco de la Bodega y Quadra. Had no idea you were sailing in from Lima." Wilson stated sarcastically. House had just walked in the lobby, catching Wilson in a heartbeat. With side burns going down his cheek, a ridiculous amount of mousse twirled in his hair, and the "Miami Vice" wear.
"You're the one to talk," House retorted.

"What happened to the patient I gave you this morning?"
"Team is running tests. It won't be long before they start looking for me and I get to tell them taking the tests were a waste of time because he has the terrifying but subtle, flu."

Chapter 13: And I don’t want the world to see me

“Why do you lie?”

Thirteen had never been asked that question before, and really, she had no idea how to answer.

Thirteen had never supposed Kutner the type to ask her questions she couldn’t answer, but then, she never supposed him the type to be able to extricate information from her without even trying, either.

She finally decided on “Because it’s none of people’s business.”

“What’s not?” Kutner asked.

“Anything,”...

Oh Christmas Tree

December 2022,

“What?” Lisa asked as she placed a red glass bobble atop a branch of their Frasier Fur Christmas tree.
“Where’s the angel for the top of the tree I last year? It’s not in any of the boxes” Lisa thought for a moment.
“I think it’s in on one of the shelves downstairs.” She said, fixing a nutcracker ornament onto the tree. Abby sighed and marched her way down to the basement, her blond hair whipping along behind her. Suddenly, the front...
