---House sat at his desk. He twirrled his cane, bored. He was so bored he was almost tempted to do his clinic duty. Almost. Instead, he went to Wilson's office. He wanted to talk to someone. Wilson was the only one he could.

He opened the bottom desk drawer and found a small secret compartment. It was open. House reached in the compartment and pulled out a small box. In the box, a sparkling diamond ring looked up at him. An engagement ring.
---He took the ring back to his office and waited. Wilson would be back in about three hours. In the meantime, House actually did clinic duty. 4 runny noses, an ingrown toenail, 3 yeast infections and a 2 headaches later House saw Wilson come through the doors of the main entrance.
---"Wilson!" Wilson looked up. House pulled the box out of his pocket and showed it to Wilson. "I was hoping this was what won you the Wierdest Thing Pulled Out Of An Orafice Competition, but the inscription said otherwise." Wilson swiped the ring from House and walked back to his office.
---House re-entered Wilsons office. "Was it for Amber?" Wilson apoligized to his patient for the interuption. The patient left comfused. "Yes, it was for Amber. I was going to give it to her on her birthday." Wilson pulled a different ring from the desk. "But, this one..." Wilson gave this box to House. It was a black box, unlike Wilsons dark purple one. House opened the box and read the inscription.
---"I will love you always and forever." "Who were you going to give this one to? You know it is still illegal to marry two people at the same time." Wilson smiled lightly. "It's for Cuddy." House looked scared. That was the last thing he expected to hear. "You want to marry Cuddy?" Wilson laughed. "No, no, no. This was for when you decided to. You can take if you want it. Sell it, keep it, give it away, propose to Cuddy as i intended. I don't care!"
---"OK." House left the office. He stood, back to the door of Cuddys office. Suddenly the door opened. "Oh, House." Cuddy looked down. House noticed he still had the ring in his hand. "O my God, House..." House handed the ring box to her. She opened the box as House tilted his head downward. "I will love you always and forever." Cuddy gasped at the inscription. She hugged House and started crying. The truth was, House wasn't sure if he was going to propose or not. But now he knew.
---Will you marry me?" House asked softly so she could barely hear him. But she knew what he said. "Yes. I will." Still in shock, Cuddy and House kissed. It didn't last long, due to the fact that Thirteen, Taub and Foreman saw and gasped. "Holy crap!?" Thirteen seemed the most shocked, when everyone noticed the ring.
---"O my God, your actually getting married!?" Foreman was still comfused at exactly what happened. House nodded slightly. Cuddy smiled and showed the ring to Thirteen. "Wow." was all she could say. Cuddy ran off to brag to the nurses and tell Cameron and Chase.
