In Pokemon History, I sit next to May, she's finally available to sit next to me. "Hi May!" I give a smile to my brunette friend. As I set my books and accordion folder down on the long gray table, I take a seat on the turqoise chair. "Hey, Dawn! How did it go with Paul last night?" she asks me. Why did she have to bring that up again? "Oh, uhhh..." I try to avoid the conversation. "Do you think you aced the homework assignment from last night?" I quickly change the subject. "Don't you change the subject on me, Dawn Lucinda Hikari!" Ugh! I hate it when she says my full name! It feels like I'm being yelled at by my mother! "I'm sorry." "You should be. Now, don't lie, but, what happened with you and Paul???" Why? Why? Why??? "Oh! Well, we worked on homework." "That's it?" May, please be quiet! "You know questions frustrate me May!" I shout. RRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!! The school bell rings for fourth period. History. Professor Elm walks inside of the room, adjusting his snow white lab coat. "Good morning students! Today, I will be collecting your assignments from the day before. Please, pass your papers to the right." I pass my homework to May and she gives all of the papers to white-haired Brandon. "Thanks May." Is it just me or did I just see Brandon wink? "May, I think Brandon's got a crush on you." I whisper into her ear. "Really? Well, that's a problem. Drew asked me out last night!" She whispers back to me. "Ms.Hikari and Ms.Haruka? Do you have something you would like to share with your peers?" A sweat drops near my small ear. "Ummm...no. We don't Professor Elm." I explain. "I don't want to catch you two chatting while I am talking." "Yes sir!" we both say.

I'm taking notes for Pokemon History and I hear the door open. It's Paul Shinji. "Mr.Shinji! Why are you late?" I know these questions aren't for me, but, I'm getting frustrated! How can Paul be late? And again?! "Sorry sir. I had some...uhhhh...buisness to take care of." Paul flips his dark purple hair like internet sensation, Justin Bieber. "Take a seat Mr.Shinji!" Paul grabs his things and sits next to Barry Jun. "What's up?!" Barry tries to make friends with Paul. He just looks away and as he does that, he winks at me. Paul just happens to sit one row in front of me. "OOOooooooo!" May coos me. I blush.

After the bell rings, I carry my things from my locker. Putting on my maroon jacket and hat, I flee the school with my white backpack on my upper back and shoulders. "Dawn!" Ugh. It can't be. "Hi Paul." I say trying to be as happy as I can. "So, are we going to do that tutoring thing again tonight?" I giggle. "I told you," I start. Paul walks next to me. "We're only doing that on Tuesday nights. Tonight I have brownie night with my mother." Paul raises an eyebrow. "Brownie night?" "It's something that we do every Wednesday night. Every week we make different types of brownies. We're making some with M&M's in it." Paul looks upset by the way he smiles. "Oh okay. I see you're busy. Maybe tomorrow. It's Thursday! Will you be doing anything on Thursday?" I think for a minute. "No. Nothing comes to mind." We get closer to my bus. Bus number 52. "Cool. Do you wanna have a picnic on Lake Verity?" Is he asking me out on a date. "I-I-, I'd love to!" I respond. What did I say that for? "Kay. I'll pick you up at 3:00 pm."
