It was early January of 2004. The night sky was perfect, for the full moon and stars were shining clearly. There was a clear area of pure green grass, and a park bench was smack in the middle of the field. There were two people sitting on the bench that night. There was a boy in a blue crew-neck sweater and tan pants, and a girl in a long, black, lacy dress. These two people were Liam Aiken and Emily Browning.
The two of them were gazing at the stars, when Emily suddenly asked, "Liam, when is your birthday?" He looked at her, and answered, "January 7th. It's pretty close from now." "Wega," she replied. "What?" he asked, extremely confused. "It's your star's name," she explained, "It's part of the constellation of Alpha Lyra. It's a bright white and blue sapphire star located in the lower part of the lyre."
Liam looked at her in amazement as he replied, "Emily, that's amazing! Where did you find that out?" Blushing, and quite proud of herself, she replied, "I read it in an astrology book." Interested, Liam asked, "When's your birthday, Emily?" "December 7th," she answered. "Wait, that just passed, didn't it?" he asked. "Yes," she replied. "Oh, I wish I knew. I would have done something special for you," he replied. "But why? I really don't mind, Liam," she whispered. "Well.....I just think you're a really sweet person, Emily," he whispered.
Blushing, Emily leaned her head on Liam's shoulder, and smiled. Liam soon noticed that, and smiled too. As they gazed at the stars, Liam asked shyly, "Emily, did the book say anything else about our signs?" Emily looked up at him, "Actually, yes. The book talked about who we love. Apparently, most people born in January are benificial with people born in December, and most people born in December can have a love and friendship with people born in January. Why?"
"Just wondering," Liam answered, but his eyes told a different story. If you were there that night, either hiding behind a tree or somewhere in a bush, you could see that he was looking in her eyes, and that they were shining, almost as if he was thinking about something. Of course, Emily was right next to him, and she could tell what he was thinking: Liam was thinking about her, and he loved her.
She lightly tugged a lock of his hair, and twined her fingers in the strands when she whispered, "I love you, Liam." Liam didn't get the chance to respond, but he didn't have to. He smiled at her, and they leaned in and kissed. Now I wasn't there that night, however, I was told everything by a good friend of mine. She told me that the kiss most likely lasted 7 seconds. When the kiss ended, they smiled at each other, and they walked back to the set of "LSASOUE," hand in hand.
I would now like to take the time to tell you a few things that I tried to put in the description, but wouldn't fit. This isn't in the story, but rather me trying to talk to you. The facts will be in sort of bullet point form, starting now:
- "LSASOUE" is simply a simplified form of saying "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unforttunate Events," which is quite a long title for a movie, don't you agree? If you haven't seen it, watch it. Now. I mean it. Stop reading, go to Amazon, YouTube, or your closest movie store, and search for "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events." It it AWESOME, that's all I can tell you.
- All of the facts linked to astrology that Emily told Liam are all true. It all came from a book called "The Power of Birthdays, Stars, & Numbers: The Complete Personology Reference Guide." It tells all about your birthday's positive and negative traits, and who your soulmates and other people of love are. Now there's something else to go looking for in your free time.
- According to an interview I read, Emily Browning is actally more into reading, like Klaus is supposed to be, and Liam Aiken is actually more into gadgets, like Violet is supposed to be. That might answer the question to how Emily knows all of that, while Liam, well, doesn't.
- If you hated this story, then you probably like only one of these people, and you can feel free to tell me that.
Sincerely,
klauslover13
