Skipper and William began to walk around New York's Central Park, just a way to have something to do. "Look, we're in the District," said William, pointing at a small lamp post. "Look here, I'm not trying to make you look dumb, but that's a lamp post," said Skipper. "No, it's the District, look...." pointed William. Skipper then looked closely at the lamp post, then it shone brilliantly and beamed at their feet, soon after, several human ghosts, all in army uniforms, began to march off to the light's beam. "These be all the men and women that have died for humanity's greed for the black menace, the pure terror, and the damnation of innocent lives" said William. "What's the Pure terror?" asked Skipper. William paused on it and watched the souls passing over. "Death by worship. Religious cults and Evil forces, all shrouded by a curtain of deception, also known as preaches of the religion," said William. Skipper watched as the various ghosts, some disemboweled or massacred, passing to the other side. "Would I pass over through the District?" asked Skipper. "No, the Deadlight District only passes over those who died in the army, while attacking," said William.
"Then why are there only a few hundred then? Why not the thousands dead?" asked Skipper. "The spirits wander on the earth for a certain 'Waiting period' before they can go to the other side...." said William solemnly. "What is the Damnation of Innocent lives then?" asked Skipper. "The Genocides and mass-killings there is today, no more, no less," said William. "You must encounter the other side often? You are very bright soldier," said Skipper. "I seclude myself to the sites at times I feel alone," said William. "Oh, okay.... I think I've seen enough of the afterlife, I just....." trailed off Skipper. "Your team? You miss your family?" asked William. "Yeah, I mean, it does get awfully lonely out here," thought Skipper. "I've been alone my whole life, never paid attention to it, better to learn alone than with distractions," said William. "That's true, and I'm gladly surprised you think so, but there's the feeling of deprivation," said Skipper. "Yeah, I know, I've been used to it, say, do you want to go back to the HQ?" asked William. "More than ever!!!" said Skipper. "I think I might find a way to help you back, maybe....." said William. Skipper smiled a bit and felt good inside.
"Anything else you might need to ask Skipper?" asked William. "No, I'm exhausted, all this floating around and stories, and questions, I'm fine," said Skipper. "Alright, but remember what they say at times, Don't pass out, when there's permanent markers about!!" said William chuckling. "Yeah, I can relate to that perfectly," smiled Skipper, laying back and looking at the pitch-black sky. "We are friends for all the time you got here!! And no one can stop that," said William, yawning and laying down. "Oh, you go to sleep little cadet," said Skipper, closing his eyes and sleeping. "Oh the old saints, the freaking saints, the freaking saints will never come, they'll never come in the freaking bayou, oh the saints ain't coming home," sang William.

My Collection of POM Haikus:
I can't sleep well one night and I made haikus to make me fall asleep. And here are the results....!
These are haikus that describe the penguins, the lemurs, and Marlene. I did it just for fun, nothing else!
Skipper, the leader,
Commands recons day and night;
Never swim alone.
K'walski, the smart one,
Best known as the "Options Guy";
Good golly wolly!
Rico has no doubt
He's the living wrecking ball;
Boom! Blam! Kablamo!
Private, the youngest
Loves unicorns and rainbows;
Winkies, ev'rywhere!
Julien, the royal
Puts his trust to sky spirits;
My moves are yummy!
Maurice, the aye-aye
Always serves the so-called king;
Wait-uh, what? Say what?!
Mort, the mouse lemur
Can't get over Julien's feet;
I question nothing!
Marlene, the otter's
Independent from both sides;
Yeah, have fun with that!
