Next, they take him to the Zoovenier Shop…

Maurice: "This was your favourite place, Private!"
Julien: "Anything familiar here?"
Private: "Look, I know you guys are trying to help, but…"
Julien: "But nothing! We’re helping you restore your memory, one way or another, so I can prove to Skipper that I am not always a Disaster!"
Private: "What are those things?"

Julien turns behind and looks at the dolls…

Julien: "Oh, these? These are my Julien-ified dolls! And those are yours!" [Points to the Private dolls]
Private: "Are those me?"
Julien: "Well, duh!"
Private: "Hmmm… I better go now. See you!"
Julien: "No, I must show you around!"

The Lemurs take Private and go outside the Zoo, in the Park. Suddenly, King Julien, Private and Maurice hear Mort’s scream. They rush to look for Mort. They see that a Bulldog was chasing Mort…

Julien: "Eh… who’s the freak?"

Hearing those words, the dog’s attention diverted to Julien, Private and Maurice. It leaves Mort and prepares to attack them…

Julien: "Gasp! Maurice! Activate the doggy-shield!"
Maurice: "Your majesty, Mort is already in danger!"
Julien: "Then, perhaps… you can be the shield!"
Maurice: "Say what?"

Julien pushes Maurice in front of him, so to defend himself. But Maurice is sent flying onto a tree, after the dog kicks him…

Julien: [Shivers] "Well, Private! Aren’t you going to use your fighting skills?"
Private: "My fighting skills?"
Julien: [Shivers] "Or call your friends?"
Private: "Um, who?"
Julien: [Remembers] "In that case, run for your life!"
Private: [Struggles to run] "I can’t run! My leg!"

Julien carries Private and starts running, followed by the chasing dog. The dog grabs Julien by the tail with its mouth and digs a hole and buries him inside…

Private: "Let him go, or else I’ll… Wait, what am I gonna do?"
Julien: [Screams from underground] "Help!"

The dog rushes to Private and smashes his Crutches. Then, it knocks Private and sends him flying in the air. He lands and hits his head hard on the brick wall. Suddenly, it all comes back to him - his thoughts, feelings and memories of his life and friends flash before his eyes...

Private: [Feels dizzy] "Ugh! Where am I? [Looks at the dog from the distance] "Julien? Maurice? Oh, no!"

Just then, the other Penguins arrive…

Skipper: "What happened to you, soldier? Where’s Ringtail? He’s supposed to be with yo…"
Private: "Julien's in trouble! I’ve got to save him" [Struggles to stand up] "Ow!"
Kowalski: "Don’t worry, Private! We’ll take it from here. You stay where you are!"

Skipper, Kowalski and Rico go to the dog and attack it. As the dog runs away in fright, they dig Julien out of the ground and get Maurice out of the tree. Meanwhile, Private approaches by belly-sliding…

Skipper: "What happened, Ringtail?"
Private: "Don’t blame him, Skipper! It’s all my fault. If I hadn’t lost my memory, we wouldn’t be in this mess!"
Skipper: [Shocked] "…!"
Kowalski: [Surprised] "Private? Are you…?"
Private: [Glad] "Yes, Kowalski! I remember!"
Skipper: [Looks at Ringtail, then turns to Private] "Welcome back, soldier!"
Kowalski: "Thank, goodness! Otherwise I’d have to use this painful needle on you!"
Rico: "Hooray!!!"

The Penguins hug Private. It was good to have him back. That night, Skipper ties a blindfold to cover the Lemurs' to eyes and tells them to follow them down their HQ…

Skipper: "No peeking, Ringtail!"
Julien: "We are you all taking us? Get this blindfold off of me!"

The Penguins' open their blindfold, and to King Julien's surprise, they planned a Surprise Party for the Lemurs, all because for looking after Private. In the end, Private thanks him for saving his flipper the whole time…
