Skipper picked up four meduim sized fish. Once again he was interupted by panic. Kowalski's screams echoed through the whole manor.
S: "Kowalski?!"
Skipper darted up the stairs and to the main room where Kowalski was sitting in his chair with his head on the table. He also had his eyes closed.
S: "Kowalski what's wrong!?"
Kowaski woke up and stopped screaming but looked terrified.
K: "I had a dream th-that I chopped all of you into little pieces!"
Rico cautiously stepped forward helping the injured and speechless Private walk. There were cuts on him that looked as if he had been assaulted by some one with an ax. Skipper glared at Kowalski with maxuim disgust, ran to Private and stood in front of him protectively.
S: "Private, are you okay?!"
P: "I-I-I,"
S: "You! You did this!"
K: "What? Me? Now... that's just ridiclous!"
S: "Have fun tonight sleeping in a seperate room! Heads up, we might not be here when you wake up!"
Kowalski rolled his eyes as Skipper picked up Private and stomped off with Rico. He Skipper whisper comfortingly.
S: "Shh, you're safe now, Private."
Skipper soon reguriated the 'Hoboken Escape Tooth' that was then set to Overveiw hotel mode. This caught the attention of the lemurs, but we'll get to that later.
The three went to sleep after Private got over the truama. It wasn't long before Rico nudged Skipper.
S: "What is it, Rico?"
R: "REDRUM! REDRUM! REDRUM! REDRUM..."
S: "Go back to sleep."
Skipper was barely awake. Rico grabbed a red crayon from Private's Lunacorn coloring book on the dresser. On the door he wrote his words which were reflected in the mirror. He poked Skipper and the two sleeping penguins woke up.
S: "Rico, I told you-"
P: "Skippah, look!"
Private pointed to the mirror in terror.
The mirror reflected the door's message. Backwards it spelt MURDER!
S: "Stay here I'll be back."
P: "No, Skippah! I'm scared!"
S: "Rico is here."
P: "Be careful!"
S: "I promise, I will."
Skipper headed down the stairs with a bat. Kowalski wasn't at his desk. Skipper seized the notes Kowalski took. He it in shock. It read:
All work and no play makes Kowalski a dull penguin. All work and no play makes Kowalski a dull penguin. All work and no play makes Kowalski a dull penguin.
The whole first page was full of that one sentence written over and over again. Skipper rapily turned to the next page and the next. They all had the same sentence all over them. Skipper stepped back.
K: "Whatcha doing, Skipper?"
S: "K-Kowalski?"
Skipper shrunk.
K: "Why don't you hand me the bat, Skipper."
Skipper shook his head.
K: "Come on, Skipper. I just wanna knock your brain around a little."
Skipper had backed up down the stairs into the kitchen.
S: "Stay away, Kowalski!"
Skipper ran until he lost Kowalski in the kitchen. Kowalski made the fatal mistake of going into the fridge. Skipper without hestitation shut his assailant in. There was no key for the lock so he had to constrain the door with his own body.
K: "Skipper, I'm sorry. Can you let me out now? I just got really frustrated and out of control."
Skipper was for once intimidated and needed wisdom. He wanted to let his soldier out, but he was unsure if he was acting or telling the sincere truth.
What Kowalski did when the others went to bed:
As soon as they left Kowalski reached under the desk he was working at. He pulled out the bloody ax he used to assault Private with. Just then he heard voices coming from the hall past the lobby. Slowly he crept and peeked his head around the corner the three annoying lemurs strutted down the hall.
J: "So, this is where those silly penguins are staying."
M: "Apparently, your majesty."
Mo: "This place is the creepy."
M: "Just standing here gives me the chills."
J: "Hey stinky penguins! Are you here?!"
Kowalski stepped toward them with the ax behind his back smiling deviously.
J: "Oh, Kowalski!"
M: "Your majesty, I think we should go now."
J: "Marurice, why do you always have to be so wrong!"
Kowalski stepped forward, now pulling the ax from behind his back swiftly.
J: "Ahh, the penguin is trying to assainate the king!"
Kowalski swung the sharp object, forunately the lemurs dodged it just in time and ran out. Furiously he swung the ax at a picture on the desk of his friends. The ax went directly through Skipper's head. A pshycotic, menacing laugh bellowed from Kowalski.
K: "Bye, bye, Skipper."
Back to the kitchen:
Skipper crept back slowly.
S: "Okay, Kowalski. Come out."
K: "I'm so sorry, Skipper!"
He hugged his sweaty leader. His eyes suddenly met the bat Skipper had foolishly left on the counter and flipper's reach away. Kowalski reached over and slipped it to him while Skipper was still hugging him. He had it placed behind his
back.
K: "I've got something for you, Skipper."
S: "What?"
Kowalski rapidly swung the bat, so he wouldn't let his victim get away this time. It hit Skipper in the back of the head, and made him fall to the ground motionless. Kowalski chuckled and stepped on the leader with one webbed foot. Soon he dragged Skipper's body into the fridge and locked it with the key he was holding. Kowalski headed to the room to finish off all of the rest of his friends before going back to kill Skipper.
To his suprise Private and Rico had left the room and began looking for Skipper. They headed down the stairs to the kitchen where they found Skipper laying in the bitter freezing walk-in fridge.
