"Yes!" Rica cried.
"Skipper, we've got the plan," Kowalski said.
"Great, because got the machine working," Ivy said. They looked at the Transportatron 3000, there was a blue light gleaming from the shower head.
"Here's the plan," Rica said. The penguins all huddled and talked about it, and discovered the perfect plan.
"Okay, then," Kowalski said, once they were finished. "Who wants to come?"
"I know for sure we're coming," Ru said.
"I gotta!" Rico cried.
"I, of course, will be going," Kowalski said, humbly. "Ivy, you wanna come?"
"No, she has to stay here with us!" Skipper said, shielding Ivy.
"Correction, with me," Johnson said.
"No, she'll come with me!" Kowalski exclaimed.
The boys argued. Private nudged Ivy and she shot him a glance and whispered something to him. Rica tried to listen in.
"Stop arguing! I'm not going because I don't want to!" Ivy cried.
"Oh," Kowalski, Johnson, and Skipper all said at the same time.
"How does this thing work?" Ru asked, waving her flipper in front of the blue light.
"Well, it simply does a transplant of atoms from where you're going to where you were," Kowalski explained, able to take his mind off Ivy.
Ru asked, "Is it safe?"
Kowalski chuckled and laughed out loud. Rico shot him the 'You-better-say-yes-or-else' glance.
"It, uh, is?" Kowalski said, lying.
"Let's go!" Rica exclaimed, and ran into the blue light.
"Okay!" Ru ran through after her sister.
Rico and Kowalski went through after the girls.
Once they were out of sight, Ivy sighed and fell onto the floor fom exhaustion. Johnson heaved her up and asked her what was wrong.
"Stomach... Pains... Can't... Bear..."
Skipper led Ivy to her bunk and let her sleep. Private tried to soothe her by retelling one of Uncle Nigel's tales.
Johnson saw Ivy's heavily swollen belly, and everything rushed to him. He had realized.
Rica walked out of the blue light. Ru came through and toppled her over. They fell into a laughing heap, until Rico and Kowalski came through.
"Okay, which way?" Kowalski asked. "I don't have the slightest idea where we are." Rico shook his head.
"Don't worry, we know these woods like the back of out wings," Ru said. She suddenly ran up a thick tree and onto the first branch. "It takes much shorted when we scale the trees."
Rico got some rope for him and Kowalski, and they made their way across the trees. The trees quickly opened up into a clearing, were a brook flowed. They jumped right down into it, Kowalski last.
"I remember!" Rico exclaimed. He jumped out of the water. Through a short series of trees, there was a cave that they could see.
"Almost there," Ru said. "It'll be so great to see Mom again!"
"How long have you been gone?" Kowalski asked. "Doing what?"
"We've been gone searching for almost a year, now. I'm so glad we finally found."
An older, female penguin with feathers sticking out of her head came out of the cave carrying some fish. Rico fastened his pace, jumped on his stomach, and slid as fast as he could toward the cave.
"Urki!" he cried. "My Urki!"
The penguin dropped the fish and ran to meet him.
"Rico? Is it you? It can't be?!" she had the prettiest voice.
The couple hugged tightly and shared some kisses. Rica and Ru ran up too, and embraced in the family hug. Kowalski stood, watching from the bushes, feeling left out.
He zoned back to Ivy, and the fight over her in the lab. Her swollen belly. Her 'don't hurt us'.
He realized, and fainted for the second time that day

TDH: this is a remake to the movie with the same title. The character's personalities may be somewhat altered to fit the characters from the movie. Please read and review. Rated T for sexuality and some language.
Narrator: This is a story of Boy meets Girl.
The boy, Kowalski, grew up thinking he'd never truly be happy until the day he met The One. This belief stands from early exposure to Skipper's hard training and being cooped up in his lab making recipes for disaster.
The girl, Summer, did not share this belief. Since the separation from her family, she only loved two things. The first was her long feathery hair. The second was how easily she could cut it off, and feel nothing.
Kowalski meets Summer on January 8th. He knows almost immediately, she is who he's been searching for.
This is a story of Boy meets Girl, but you should know upfront, this is not a love story.
