A young fourteen year old girl walked down the road talking to her three closest friends. she was an average girl of average height and she had dirty blond hair and brown eyes with a light dusting of freckles.
She and her friends reached her driveway and she walked down to her home. she had a strange feeling like someone was trying to take her over. she ignored it and went inside.
that night she had the strangest dream. she saw a young boys dead body laying in a small room. his mother was there weeping over his dead body. his spirit drifted out and flew away. he found a baby and possessed her.
suddenly she was somewhere else. she was at a building full of futuristic looking machines.
"Daisy!" someone called, "Daisy be careful with the machines."
the girl woke with a start. her dream had seemed so real. like it had really happened. and the boy. there had been something familiar about him and his mother. like she had sen them before. she felt like she had died in that room, like her mother had wept over her dead body, like she had been the one to posses a baby girl. she shook the thought out of her head and went downstairs to breakfast.
"Good morning sleepy head," said her mom, "I made you some oatmeal."
"Thank you, mother," said the girl, taking a small bit of the oatmeal.
the next day at school the girl told her friends about her dream.
"That's, like, way weird," said Megan, her best friend.
"It was probably just a kind of weird dream," said Laura, combing her long brown hair, "no big deal. What do you think Whitney?"
"I think Laura's right," said Whitney.
"You girls don't understand her," said Megan, "That dream was so not just a weird dream."
"You don't know that!" said Laura. "Your just being stupid about it! what else would it be?"
"Brianna's dream could have meant something!" said Megan.
"You need to start focusing on the real world Meg," said Laura, then she stalked of, Whitney trailing behind her.
"Your not mad at me are you, Bri?" Megan asked Brianna.
"No, my friend, I am not upset with you," said Brianna.

It seems that every few months, you always hear about that new indie title that is a true Dark Souls successor. Hollow Knight is the new Dark Souls, Blasphemous is the new Dark Souls, Cuphead is the new Dark Souls- Wait, what? But there was one game that went almost under everyone’s radar and was less discussed. Maybe it had a following, but compared to Hollow Knight, it was practically unheard of. And this game goes by Salt and Sanctuary
