In this world, there are two distinct 'worlds.'
There is the human world, where the normal mortals reside.
And then there is the monster world, where many creatures reside, and of the two monsters, vampires and werewolves - two powerful immortal creatures - rain supreme.
When vampires first started arising millenniums ago, the werewolf powers hidden deep inside some Indian tribes came to a boil and sprouted forth within chief Indian men.
Then the bloodshed began.
The werewolves began destroying the vampires, in an attempt tp try and stop them from transforming humans.
But the vampires did not stop their transformations. Instead, they fought the wolves, destroying many of their tribes.
This erupted endless violence between the two formiddable beings.
But now, after so much loss on both sides, the two distinct creatures isolated themselves from each other - to prevent fighting. . .

This is what I've been told all my life.
"Brook!" I heard Linda call to me from within my room.
I walked to my room in silence. When I walked in, Linda was there waiting for me with a big smile on her copper face, her light brown hair combed back into a ponytail while her bangs cascaded around her light gray eyes. She was my deceased mother's long-time best friend who was mine and my father's maid.
"Yes?" I asked her and she pointed to the chair that sat promptly in front of my beauty mirror that housed all of my make-up and hair neccesties.
"I need to brush through that messy head of yours!" she teased me as I sat down in the chair and stared at my reflection in the mirror.
I smiled and my dimples showed when I did. My teeth seemed ultra-white against my olive-toned skin.
Linda began brushing through my wavy dark hair that settled promptly against my waist. My chestnut brown eyes looked into her gray eyes as she playfully ruffled my hair.
"Aunt Linda. . ."-I knew she wasn't my real aunt, but I still thought of her as family-"Do I really have to meet and be-friend the Chief's daughter of the Nazahi tribe?" I asked her, hating to be forced into something I want no part of.
"You must, it is important for the werewolf princess to have strong relations with our sister tribes," she told me, stroking my hair softly in reassurance.
I made a face at what she called me. I was the Chief's only heir and so I had inherited the role of 'princess of the wolves' among all werewolf tribes.
She kissed my cheek softly.
"I have to go to the store and pick up a few things, can you go and pick herbs by yourself?" Linda asked me and I smirked.
"I'm eighteen now - I think I'll be just fine."
She smiled.
"Alright, I'll see you around dinner time," she spoke as she gathered her things together.
"See you later, have a safe trip," I said as she turned to walk out.
She threw back a smile and left my room.
I sighed and got up; I stared at myself in the mirror, my Indian self draped in a long white spaghetti-strapped floral dress. . .
I was a true Indian prodigy among my people.
