I rummaged through the bags in the back seat of the car. I was looking for the hat that she had bought at the mall.
"Looking for something Dawn?" My foster sister, Elise, asked from the wheel. I glanced up.
"No, I'm not looking for anything, Elise. I'm just going through the bags for no reason at all." I said, every word dipped in sarcasm. My foster mother, Andrea, hid a smile and looked out the window, while my other foster sister, Sara, glanced into one bags, then reached down and stuck her hand in it. When she pulled it back out, she was holding my new pink Fedora that had a soft blue ribbon around it's base.
" Found it." She handed the hat over to me. I took it thankfully and dropped it on my head, glancing in the mirror. It matched my pink sundress perfectly, and I had a blue ribbon choker that I could wear with it. I laughed for no good resin, only because it felt like one of those moments and soon my foster family joined me.
In no time, we had reached there house. It was big, almost mansion-like, and sat comfortably on one-and-a-half acres of land. Elise drove up to the front of the house, and then they began the chore of hauling the many bags up the steps.
"Jeez, what did you buy? An entire wardrobe?" My foster brother, Drake, leaned on the railing above there heads.
"Almost. You just have to watch you back, because we bought more gems for the bedazzler." Sara looked up. Drake held up his hands in mock truce, then dashed downstairs.
"Oh, and that smell? Billy brought his werewolf girlfriend over, so be nice." Now that he mentioned it, I did smell something off. It was like a wet dog had dried of, and something else.......almost like...
"Is that, cherries?" Andrea smiled. It was a feeble yet nice
Attempt to hide her smell.
"Yep. I'm going to go put this stuff away." I turned and took the stares two at a time. When I reached the top, I walked down a little hallway to my room. When I pushed open the door, I stepped in, but stopped dead n my tracks.
Lili's POV
I smiled and stood up when Billy's sisters and mother came into the room. Like there brothers and father, they all had pale, milky white skin, brown-red hair, and gold-drown eyes. I'll admit, I was really nervous meeting them. I hoped they would like me, but as soon as they stepped into the room, I knew I had no worries. They were the nicest people in the world. They introduced them selves as Elise, Sara, and Andrea.
" But, Billy," I nudged him gently in the ribs."I thought you said you had three sisters."
"You mean Dawn?" Elise asked. "She's putting her stuff away." Before anyone could respond, a high, horrible scream cut through the air. I had to clamp my hands over my ears because I might just have gone totally def in both ears, and so did the vampires. When it ended, Christopher started laughing. Billy gaped at him, then cracked up.
"You didn't, did you?" Billy asked in between gasps. Christopher could only nodd.
"Christopher! You ate SO dead!" The same voice shouted from up stairs.
"Better take that as your cue." Billy pointed to the balcony. "She's going to really kill you now." Christopher stood up and bowed.
"Ah, but it was so worth it." Then he ran out the back door. Just in time, too. A girl about 13 or 14 appeared on the balcony. She looked different from the rest of the vampires. She still had milky white skin, but she had straight, dusty blonde hair and blue eyes, which had a scary murderous glow in them. Her yes locked on Christopher, then she jumped from the railing. She hit the ground running, dashing out the door after Christopher. Billy was still snickering, as was the rest of his family.
"What did he do to get her so mad?" I nudged Billy.
"He stole her horse and book collection. She loves those things as much as her Ipod and magazines. Which means she can't live without them."
Dawns POV
How could he? I dashed throughout the fields, then the forest, chasing Christopher around property about three times before he stopped and held up his hands in truce.
I tackled him anyway.
I slammed him to the ground and punched him in the jaw. Then I grabbed him in a head-lock and demanded to know wear my horses and books were.
"In my room. In my room!" I punched him in the gut for good measure, then dashed away to the house.

-Jasper-
Sometimes, I absorb the emotions around me. Like now. Did I mention I'm about to have a nervous breakdown?
-Bella-
When everyone you love is at risk, you'll put yourself up. It goes without saying. It just does.
Because I would rather be torn apart a thousand times, endure the fire of becoming a vampire all over again, endure it for the rest of eternity, rather than watch the Volturi take my family.
Wordlessly, I stand up and at human pace, make my way to the large ominous door.
In a very soap-opera-ish manner, Edward grabs my hand. I snort, and lift my shield.
Let go, Edward. I'm going in there, end of story. I can't just stand by and let it happen.
"Bella... I'm coming with you." By the tone of his voice, he means it.
