I guess stress makes me temporarily schizophrenic. Alice, however, thinks I'm just being temporarily relieved of my apparent "state of stick-up-your-ass syndrome".
This is why hyperactive people are viewed as annoying, I tell you.
I snickered to myself as I flipped on my back after Edward finished his new song and had a little Kodak moment with Jen.
Alice's Britney Spears song had ended, but an even more annoying song had come up.
A/N: Alice's iPod song: (Go ahead. Click on the link. You know you want to. Watch the whole thing if you'd like any hope of understanding the next few paragraphs.) link
Alice swayed her hips and snag along to the song, her voice pitch similar to it without any concerted effort.
"Since when do you know Swedish?" I asked, my eyebrows raised.
"Free time," Alice trilled and went back to her song.
Jennifer joined in pretty quickly, and was quickly followed by Rosalie and Emmett. Alice had turned the volume on high and put it on speaker.
Emmett's deep, booming voice, however sounded ridiculous, and Alice quickly smacked him upside the head to make him shut up. It worked, but sounded like two colliding slabs of granite.
I sighed and asked Edward silently if they planned on stopping any time soon.
He shook his head.
They spent the rest of the night dancing until Jennifer literally fell asleep on her feet, since neither Jacob nor Renesmee could have persuaded her to leave otherwise.
I hate songs that sound like they come straight off the Alvin and the Chipmunks soundtrack.

Sometimes, I absorb the emotions around me. Like now. Did I mention I'm about to have a nervous breakdown?
-Bella-
When everyone you love is at risk, you'll put yourself up. It goes without saying. It just does.
Because I would rather be torn apart a thousand times, endure the fire of becoming a vampire all over again, endure it for the rest of eternity, rather than watch the Volturi take my family.
Wordlessly, I stand up and at human pace, make my way to the large ominous door.
In a very soap-opera-ish manner, Edward grabs my hand. I snort, and lift my shield.
Let go, Edward. I'm going in there, end of story. I can't just stand by and let it happen.
"Bella... I'm coming with you." By the tone of his voice, he means it.
