Opportunity of a Lifetime Chapter 2
The plane ride was longer than thought it would have been but it wasn't that bad. Once I got off the plane and went and found my luggage there was Gary ( our trainer) and Bec ( our trainer/adult over the whole Solar Blue thing). As I greeted them I could here how much I stood out with my voice.
Hi, you must be Loryn. I'm Bec. Nice to meet you. Bec said.
Nice to meet you too! I said while shaking her hand.
This is Gary. Bec said introducing him.

Now let me tell you something, my voice is very country. It has a southern twang to it. I like it but most people take me as a stupid hillbilly and to tell you the truth I've never met a hillbilly. You know the ones that the tv shows portray. An example: blue Jean overalls, a black tooth and a beard. Just google one and that is the complete opposite of what I am.
Loryn, do you have all of you stuff? Gary asked.
I think so. I said.
Bags- Check, Boards- Check and last but not least my longboard skateboard. Placed it as my carry on! That was the one thing that I never wanted to loose! Well anyway back to reality. Australia isn't that much different than America except for the whole English/Australian language against my just southern english.
In the car in was kind of quiet. I am really not that talkative around people that I don't know.
Hey Bec, how far is the house from town? I asked.
Oh not that far. She said.
Oh okay. How far are we from the house? I asked.
I would say about 90 kilometers. Gary answered.
Okay! I said.
I was doing the math in my for every mile you have ruffly 1.6 kilometers. So there was 56 miles till we arrived at the house!
Have the other students arrived yet? I asked.
Yep! Bec said cheerfully.
It didn't take that long to get to the house, surprisingly!
When we pulled I to the driveway, I was amazed how big the house was! This was really going to be the best opportunity of a lifetime! I can't wait!!
Ekkkk! I am so excited to be here! I squealed.

I jumped out of the van and grabbed one of my bags and longboard skateboard while Bec offered to carry my other bag and Gary to my boards to the garage!
I followed Bec into the house and there was no one there.
Where is everyone? I wondered.
I set my bags and board down and went and looked out the back door.
Oh my gosh! This is the prettiest beach I have ever seen in my life! I said.
Loryn, I'll take you bags upstairs for you. Gary offered.
That's okay. I'll get them if you just show me what room I'm in! I said.
Alrighty, let's go! He said.
Boys bedroom. Gary said point to the left.
Emily and Lila's room. He sai pointing to the right.
This is your room that you will be sharif with Paige. He said pointing to the other room on the right also.
Straight ahead are the girls bathroom and to the left that door leads to the guys bathroom. Gary said.
