Gwen's pov!
I woke up in complete darkness. where am i? i thought i was in my room. i picked up a knife off of the floor and clutched it close to my chest and started to walk. my steps and breathing seemed to echo,i was wondering if i was dead. i felt a chill run up my spine and i swiftly turned around. "w-who's there?"i called out. i could hear someone whispering and chuckling deeply. i reached one of my hands out and tried to look for a light switch. a light suddenly flickered on and it gleamed across the snowy ground. i looked up and it was only the moon. i heard wolves howling and trees rustling rapidly. i began to walk shakily across the bone chilling ground and the snow started to turn crimson. i lifted some snow up with my knife. this looks allot like blood. i continued my walking and i somehow changed the area of which i was in. i was in a hallway of a hospital. this was like a horror movie. lights flickering,papers flying everywhere,i could hear screaming and laughing..i cowered back into the wall,still gripping the knife as if dear life depended on it. i heard something bang on the door beside me. i gasped and walked backwards away from the door. the banging got louder and harder,then the door collapsed harshly loud in front of me. tears began to whelm up in my eyes as a dark figure crept towards me. "i have been waiting for you,Gwen. for a long time."it whispered deathly like a snake. "please tell me where i am!"i cried. "don't be frightened,sweetheart. you're only in your resting place."it revealed itself in the dim light,showing a skeleton. i would have fainted if i wasn't terrified of what might happen next. "i didn't die! i was in my room sleeping,i remember it!"i shouted,my voice echoing. "don't you remember anything? a murderer climbed through your window and slit your throat open and forced you to swallow a whole bottle of poison sleeping pills."it sneered. i traced my fingers up my pale neck and felt slight pain when i crossed over something bumpy. "no,i cant die yet! this has to be a dream!"i screamed. "this isn't a dream,this is actual reality."it fell to the floor,it's bones scattering all over the floor. all of the hospital room's doors opened. i stood there as cold as stone and looked cautiously over to the rooms. children looked at me,but didn't have any eyeballs. "it's okay Ms. Gwen,everything's going to be alright. you're safe now."they spoke. "listen,i need to find away to get back to the real world!"i begged. "i`m afraid i cant let you do that."someone spoke from behind me. i turned around and a man stood before me and looked much like a vampire. "who died and called you ruler of my life?"i put my hands on my hips. "first of all,don't be a bitch to me."he hissed and snapped his finger,two kids rushing to my side and gripped my arms. i tried to break free of them,but they kept biting me with their awfully sharp teeth. "second of all,i`m the ruler of the Underworld and you will do as i say and everything will go by smoothly in your afterlife."he growled,smiling. "what if i don't do as you command?"i fought. he whispered something deathly and an old fashion stove opened up and fire burst from it. i could hear people screaming from inside and i saw skeletons trying to get out of the fire. i couldn't help but shed a tear,knowing that the rest of my life until i get burned to ashes,i will live as a slave. "do i make myself clear?"he lifted my chin up with his sharp nails,piercing my skin slightly. i nodded and the children threw me to the floor. "good,find a room and stay in it."a strong gust of wind blew in and i changed my location to the woods. a teenage girl walked up to me,staring with her dark purple eyes. "are you the new person?"she asked,scanning me with her look that could kill,eyes. "i shouldn't be,but yes."i mumbled. "follow me."she instructed and began to walk off and i followed. "i know you weren't ready to die,neither was i. i was killed by the horrid illness i had."she spoke in her Britain accent. "what disease did you have?"i asked as she led me into a cabin. "the Scarlet fever. it was a very popular disease in my time period."she lit a few candles. "how long have you been here?"i questioned. "i have been here for almost 80 something years..i died in the 1800's."she said uneasily for an answer. if i could only imagine what it is like to be her right now. i would have probably asked the lord Underworld to burn my body already. "well,i`m going to let you get settled in. you start charm school tomorrow-."i cut her off. "charm school..?"i raised an eyebrow. "yes,charm school. it's where we learn all types of spells and potions and many other witchcraft stuff."she explained. i`m going to hurl if i turn into Harry Potter. "i`ll be here to wake you. just call me if you need anything,goodnight."she smiled and ran off. i sat on my very uncomfortable bed and hugged my knees. i cant live like this for much longer. i`m living in a world of dead creatures. i heard it thunder and it started to rain. what luck,the rain started to seep into my cabin. i crawled under the covers to shield myself from the cold rain. i saw black ink run down my arm and i looked at the palm of my hand and it read 'Trent' with multiple hearts beside it. i tried to wipe the rain away from it,but it only smeared it more. that was the only thing that would let me remember my love. we never went out,but i really adore him. if he loves me enough he'd save me from this living nightmare. i began to cry through the raindrops falling on my sickly pale face. save me Trent,you're my only hope. i ran over to my window and tried to break the bars. i felt like a savage in a jail cell. "please,someone save me."i whispered,crying my eyes out.

I woke up,clothes soaked,on the wooden floor. i lied there for a second,staring at the spilt candle wax. please tell me that last night was all a dream. i slowly stood up and looked out the window,seeing the same place i was in last night. tears began dripping from my eyes. it's true..i am dead. i saw Trent walking towards me. i reached out from the metal bars,trying to reach him. he took my hand and kissed it,feeling nothing. "goodbye Gwen."he smiled and vanished into the wind. no,please come back! i need you,Trent. i slowly slid down from the window and onto the floor. the door opened and the girl from last night came in. "good morning,what happened?"she knelt down beside me. "my death happened."i growled. "sorry,sorry. don't take it personally. my name is Lisa and i will help you through out your time here."she offered a warm smile. "yeah,as long as i can stay away from lord asshole."i mumbled. she giggled slightly. "it's okay,i feel the same way about him too. let's go or you'll be late for school."she helped me up. "don't i have to where a uniform?"i asked. "nope,just your skin if you have some."she joked,but i didn't really take it as a joke. we walked up to a tall,ancient mansion. "this is where we go to school."she spoke. i stared at the peeling paint on the building and the shattered windows. "this looks more like a mental hospital than a school.."i mumbled under my breath. "it might seem like that,but it's really a somewhat decent place. come on,i`ll show you inside."she opened the door and led me around the huge school. "..and this is the main office,which is where you get assigned to different classes or get your wands charged."she showed me the final room in the mansion. "i beg your pardon,but did you just say wands?"i scoffed. "if this is a witchcraft school,don't you think we'll get wands?"she said in a sarcastic tone. "i see your point.."i rolled my eyes. "here's your schedule. we have the same classes,so you don't have to worry."she smiled,handing me a piece of paper. "great.."i said not so enthusiastic. the bell rang. "let's get to class."she motioned her hand for me to follow her. we walked into an room and both sat down at a table. "alright,class. today we will learn how to use our wands properly."the teacher stopped writing down stuff on the board and looked at us. her eyes wandered over to mine. "i can see that we have a new student."she smiled her wrinkly smile. i slouched back in my seat,trying to avoid the stares. "i will assign you a wand later,but for now practice with Lisa's wand."she explained. i just nodded in response. i could hear the other kids laughing and whispering things. a wad of paper hit the back of my head. i turned and glared at the person. "welcome to hell."he laughed and his friends laughed along with him. thanks for the warm welcome. i turned my attention back to the teacher,trying to calm down. "now,you will take out your wands and say the words:Akaholay."she spoke and her wand blasted with electricity and a spider appeared on her wand. everyone tried to master her instructions,but couldn't achieve. i looked over at Lisa and she was having trouble as well. "mind if i have a try..?"i asked. she shrugged and handed me her wand. "Akaholay."i spoke and the wand blasted with electricity and a flower popped out of the wand. "jolly good work,Gwen."the teacher complimented. the class started calling me 'nerd' or 'teacher's pet' and many other names i could care less about. the bell rang and the students began packing. "remember to keep practicing!"the teacher said over the talking. i walked out of the classroom and Lisa ran up to me. "wow,Gwen. that was pretty impressive."she took her wand back from me. "thanks.."i smiled slightly. for the rest of the day,all i heard about was witchcraft,potions,and how to use your wands. how thrilling can this afterlife get? the final bell rang and the students stormed out of the school like wind. i walked out of the school with Lisa into the deathly atmosphere. the sky was always gray and it would rain from time to time,so we rushed back to the cabins. someone grabbed me by the shoulder. "there's my shining star."it chuckled. i turned and it was lord Underworld. "what do you want..?"i groaned. "for acting so harsh to me,i`m making you dig up graves for the skeletons i burned."he slapped me across the face. i opened my mouth to say something,but closed it when he handed me a shovel. "get to work."he sneered and pushed me towards a field. i began to dig up multiple graves as the ragging storm went on. i worked until it got dark and began to walk home in the rain,covered in mud and drenched in rain. i walked into my cabin and collapsed on the floor. i began to wail silently to myself. i grabbed the nearby knife i stashed under my pillow and cut at my wrists. nothing slashed,nothing came out. i stabbed at it harshly and still nothing happened. i cried out in frustration and threw the knife across the floor. i need something to help and stop the pain. i took out a pencil and wrote on the rotten wood,'Life,i don't need it. this is hell and where i was meant to be in. my dear love,please find me. all i need is to be in your arms and feel your protection surround me. find me,save me,aid me. do anything you can to take me away from this cruel place.' i threw myself onto the ground and sat on the window sill. i hugged myself and cried the anger out. "T-Trent...please,i know you cant hear me,but please..all i ask is for you to save me. i-i love you."i whispered,barely hearing myself. i lied my head on the cold,metal bar and tried to get some sleep,dreaming about him.

I have been sleeping forever. i never wanted to wake up to face death,to face lonelyness,to face everyone. i guess Lisa was late to wake me up. i could care less. someone knocked on my door and i kept my eyes shut. the door opened and i opened one eye and it was Lisa. "there is no school today,wanna see something cool?"she asked. i was thrilled that there was no school,but not so hyped up about leaving for what i call my cave. she took my hand and said some words and we appeared in a graveyard. "why are we here?"i ask,confused. "look."she pointed from behind me. i turned around and the love of my life was standing over a grave,his head down,whispering things i couldn't hear. i gasped silently and walked over from behind him. "Heavenly father,please take good care of Gwen. she was a nice girl and i loved her as much as you do. she's in good hands now."he whispered,sounding like he was crying. i looked at the grave and it read,'Gwen Sylvia Jones. 1990-2011. a caring girl who will always be missed.' i cried at the thought of my body was just below my feet. Trent knelt down in front of the grave. "i love you,Gwen. i`m terribly sorry i forgot to tell you this before you passed. live a nice afterlife for me."he put a rose on the ground and stood up. he turned around and walked right through me. i tried to grab his shoulder,but my hand went right through him. "Trent,wait!"i called out,but he kept on walking. i fell to my knees and buried my face into my hands and cried. Lisa patted my shoulder as i felt my heart break into tiny little pieces. "he loves me.."i whispered to myself. "that's what i wanted to show you."she said. i stood up and hugged her. "thank you..but i actually need to tell him that i love him."i wiped my eyes. "i don't know if i can.."she sighed. i walked over to my grave and looked at the rose. i could see something shiny,gleaming under the sunlight. i turned my head to see what it was. it was a ring. "oh my god.."tears fell from my eyes. "what is it?"she ran up to me. "h-he wanted to marry me."i whispered,tears streaming down my cheeks. i looked over to see Trent getting on his motorcycle. "don't leave me!"i cried. i was too late. the motorcycle sped off out of my sight. i was choking,gagging on my breath and tears as i lied on the grass. i cried more than i ever had as my love just left. i angrily slammed my fist onto the ground. this is unfair,i was right there! how couldn't he see me? i looked over at Lisa,hell in my eyes. "tell me that there is this spell to let me be seen by other living humans?"i hissed. "actually,i think there is."she pulled a small book out of her pocket and flipped through the worn pages. "ah,here it is! the spell for you to be seen by Trent."she smiled. i took the book from her and looked anxiously for the information. "it only lasts 24 hours."she spoke up from my distraction. "that's all the time i need to tell i love him."i handed her back the book. "stay still."she got out her wand. i stood there,my eyes closed. "you might not be able to see or hear me once you turn into a living human."she aimed her wand at me. i nodded and she shot electricity from her wand at me. i opened my eyes and everything seemed normal. i went over and picked up the rose. "thanks Lisa."i smiled and ran off to go find Trent. i climbed up a tree and opened his window to find him standing on a ladder,rope tied around the ceiling fan and around his neck. "i`m coming Gwen."he closed his eyes. "don't jump Trent!"i shouted. "Gwen?"his eyes shot open and he rubbed his eyes at me. "yes,it's me."i climbed through the window. he took the rope off of his neck and stepped down the ladder. "is it really you?"he cupped my cheek with his hand. i nodded and tears began to fall out of my eyes. he wrapped his arms tightly around me and twirled me in the air. "i cant believe you're alive."he set me down. "i`m actually on a spell that keeps me alive for 24 hours."i explained and the smile wiped off of his face. "at least it's something."he brought his face close to mine. i blushed as my heart began to speed up. from the last few days,i could feel my blood and heart. i could feel protected,i could taste his mint breath,i could feel his arms around me,knowing that he loved me. he kissed me softly on the lips and i kissed back. i began to walk backwards and i fell onto his bed,him falling on top of me. "i love you."i whispered,stroking his cheek. "i love you too."he kissed me passionately on the lips again. this embrace went on for quite a while. i never wanted this to end,nor did i want to go back to that place and leave Trent behind. Trent lit some candles as it started to get dark and he climbed back on top of me. "i got your little present back at my grave."i nuzzled my nose onto his. "you did..?"he blushed. "yes.."i smiled. "what did you think of it?"he stammered. "i loved it and i have a question."i whispered. "what's that?"he breathed his breath onto my face,warming me up. "what did the ring mean? was it just for present or..?"i let silence finish my statement. he sat up from me and looked me in the eyes. "the ring meant..if you wanted to..well i wanted to...marry me?"he mumbled,scratching the back of his head. i smiled and sat up. "of course i`ll marry you."i giggled. he grinned and tackled my lips roughly. "i love you."he repeated between kisses. i began to tug at his jeans and he pulled away. "are you sure?"he questioned. "i don't want to die a virgin,please be my first."i begged silently into his ear. after that,he happily fulfilled my wish.

I woke up,sun gleaming onto the white covers that covered my body from head to toe. i looked over and Trent had his head on my shoulder,arm around my waist,sleeping with a smile on his face. it felt like Heaven when i was around him. i snuggled into his head and he started to stir. "don't wake up,you don't have to."i whispered softly into his ear. he smiled and opened his eyes. "i said you didn't have to."i giggled. "i wouldn't want to miss a moment of staring into your gorgeous eyes."he kissed me on the lips. "you're so sweet."i blushed. "you look so beautiful right now."he put his forehead on mine. i looked down and realized i was still naked and blushed madly. he chuckled and sat up,stretching. Trent's window opened and a gust of wind came in. Lisa came into the room. "no,please! give me more time!"i clung to Trent. "i`m sorry Gwen,but lord Underworld is looking for you."she whispered,frightened. "what's going on?"Trent asked in alarm. "it's time for me to go back to my resting place."tears fell from my eyes. he growled at Lisa and held me close. "you'd have to go through me first to get to Gwen."he hissed. thunder boomed in the sky and lord Underworld came into the room. "let's go Gwen."he hissed. "no,let me live damn you!"i cried. he grabbed my arm and yanked me off of Trent. Trent grabbed my other arm and had a tug of war with lord Underworld. "let go of her,dammit!"Trent shouted. a strong wind pulled lord Underworld out the window,bringing me along with him. "don't let go!"Trent and i both shouted. the wind got stronger and i started to slip from his finger tips. he used all of his strength to pull me down to him and to kiss me on the lips. "i love you."he whispered. i slid down from his arms and tried to hold onto him,but i fell into the wind with lord Underworld. "i love you too!"i shouted and went back into total darkness. i will never forget that last moment with Trent. i cried my eyes out,until my door flew open and there stood Trent,with his arms out wide. "Trent!"i ran over and he caught me into a hug. "i never knew you would risk your life just to be with me."i cried into his shoulder. "i would risk everything just to be with you."he whispered and lifted my chin up and kissed me tenderly. after that,life gotten a little less horrible in hell.
