Ok here is my top 8 favourite movies that teenagers like myself will love or like to watch if they are looking for romance or just something to let your imagination flow through . So enjoy.

#8 A Cinderella story

Another movie I like that tells the story about a teenager who meets a guy online who turns out to be Austin Ames the quarter backer. I loved the dance scene along with the ending. The stepmother in this movie is so hilarious with her fake boobs and her fake hair LOL. Hilary Duff was great in this movie along with Chad Micheal Murray who was hot in this movie may I add. I like the story as well because it’s a twisted version of the old Cinderella movie and the setting is San Francisco.

#7 A Walk to Remember

Ok I got this on DVD a few years ago as I never saw it before and let me tell ya it was one of the most saddest films I have ever watched. Kicking off in the 1950s (about that) tells the story about a popular guy named Landon who has to do community service after a prank goes horribly wrong. In school a shy girl named Jamie helps Landon (who went to kindergarten with her) with the play . Of course they later fall in love but what he doesn’t know is that she is hiding a painful secret from him………..she has leukaemia. Hankies should be used while watching this

#6 HSM 3 :Senior year

Do you ever wonder what high school would be like if everyone was in the same humour and they are always singing non stop well this is the film that you should check out. It tells the story of teenagers who are graduating from school to go to college. Packed with songs (11 in total) and a great cast HSM3 is by far the best out of the other 2 films which were Disney Channel movies. Zac Efron was a hell lot better here then in the other2 films as he wasn’t gay looking in this movie. Vanessa Hudgens was ok as Gabriella and Ashley Tisdale as the bitchy Sharpay Evans was funny

#5 13 going on 30

Ok I have loved this movie since I got it 6 years ago as a Christmas present . The movie tells the story about a 13 year old girl who wishes to be older and more popular. Her best male friend has a crush on her since like forever. When Jenna gets wishing dust that was on her doll house that her best friend gave her she wakes up the next morning as a high flying magazine editor. Although when she tracks down her best friend again she is shocked to discover that he is about to get married to someone else. I love the chemistry between Jennifer Garner(Daredevil)and Mark Ruffalo(new incredible hulk in the avengers)as they were cute and funny. The moral to this movie is that being an adult isn’t as wonderful as you would think and that you should be happy with being who you really are.

#4 Hannah Montana : the movie

Yes I admitted it I like this movie which is based on the TV series about an all American teenager who is living a double life as a pop star named Hannah Montana. In the movie adaptation of the TV series Miley is too busy being Hannah Montana and she sometimes forgets about who she really is so her dad (real life dad Billy Ray Cryus) brings her back to Tennessee for her grandmother’s birthday. She meets her old friend Travis (Walk The Line’s Lucas Till) who has a crush on her since school. What I like about this movie is that it tells us the audience that you gotta know who you are as a person and where you grew up. I loved the song Butterfly Fly Away as it was a real heartbreaking yet cute song all about a father and his daughter who are always there for one another. Another song that goes with my personal life is the Climb every time I hear that song I always say to myself to keep my faith and that I have to keep on climbing and moving. Its such great song.

#3 Aquamarine

Ok so this one is a very sweet film all about friendship. The movie tells the story of two girls who befriends a mermaid who is looking for love in order to prove to her dad that it does exist. The two girls Hailey & Claire decide to help her find love as she falls for a lifeguard who the two girls fancy. Of course as she stays in dry land for the 3 days she soon realises that true love isn’t worth fighting for and that friendship is most important. My favourite line in this movie is ‘it is the closest thing we have to magic(on love)’. Although it’s a bit silly in some places but if you grew up watching TLM then you will enjoy it.

#2 27 Dresses

Ok so this isn’t a teen movie but personally I liked this film. It tells the story about a woman who never became a bride and she is always a bridesmaid. She loves her boss George who is in love with Jane’s sister Tess. Meanwhile a cynical reporter is trying to write an article on her and he falls for her along the way. I loved the Bennie and the jets scene I laughed my ass off when Jane and Kevin were drunk singing the song. It’s a predictable movie but still I enjoyed it .

#1 Enchanted

Ok so this is a kids flick but let me tell ya I was hooked from start to finish while watching this movie. The film kicks off in old school 2D animation and it centres on a optimistic maiden named Giselle(Amy Adams) who dreams of true love’ kiss and finding her dream prince. It turns out to be Edward(or is he??) and they fall in love and marry the next day. Of course the prince’s evil stepmother disguises herself as an old hag and pushes her into a magic wishing well to a place where happy endings aren’t allowed. The bride to be gets transformed into a flesh blooded version of herself in New York City (still played by Adams) who is lost in the Big Apple and comes out of a big manhole. She soon meets and falls in love with a handsome no nonsense divorce attorney named Robert Philip(Patrick Dempsey) who is a single dad to a little 6 year old named Morgan(Rachel Covey) who loves fairytales. Although the cynical attorney lets her stay the night he soons gets enchanted by her innocence and her charms. It may sound a bit clichéd but what I like about this movie is that the chemistry between Dempsey & Adams is so cute it makes you wonder how they did it. James Marsden who plays, sings and voices the prince was hilarious as Edward who is a déjà vu of Prince Charming from Shrek 2 and Gaston from Beauty & the Beast. Amy Adams was excellent playing the annoying princess who does your head in but still she manages to become less annoying in the end of Enchanted, Patrick Dempsey was hot in this movie although he was a bit boring at first in the beginning of Enchanted as he was dull and dry. If you love happily ever afters then check out this film I tell you’d get hooked………well I did anyway lol.
