Hello, everyone! This is my very first article, and I'm really excited about it. This article is on how I became a fan of the Beatles, my favourite band. First, I'd like to thank ChiliPepperLuv and WIBBILY_WOBBLY for the inspiration. Their articles are brilliant, and I encourage the fans to read them.
I have been a fan for as long as I can remember. My parents have been fans for a long time, and my grandparents were original fans. Being born in Liverpool, I was destined to be a Beatles fan. You'd have to be warped to be from Liverpool and not be a Beatles fan. Being exposed to their music from a young age, I really loved them. Even though I got into other bands as well, I still made time to listen to the Beatles. When my family and I moved to America, I was concerned that I wouldn't meet another Beatles fan, especially since we moved to a state in the Bible Belt. Then, I met Peaceandlove67. Yes, we're mates in real life. Anyway, we met, and when I told her I was from Liverpool, she said, "Like the Beatles?!" I said, "Yes." It was great to meet another Beatles fan.
I guess you could say that I love the Beatles, because they've been there my entire life. When I'm sad, their music makes me feel better. "Take a sad song, and make it better." I also listen to them in the good times, too. For me, any time is Beatles time. I could go on about how much I love them, but that would take three days, and I can't stay awake long enough for that. That would be "A Hard Day's Night." In that case, I would need "Help!" "Because," "It Won't Be Long" until I fall asleep, and I'll have to say, "I'm Only Sleeping." My brain cells would need time to "Come Together."
