After the dance ball came to an end, everyone went to have a tasty buffet dinner at the Castle's dining room. As they started eating the dishes that they picked, John told Elizabeth, "We'd like to thank you again for inviting us over to spend the day with you and Philip. We had loads of fun!" She replied, "It was my great pleasure, John! We also enjoyed your company." Paul said, "Y'know, ma'am? This may sound a bit flattering, but you're just like a mum to us." John, George, Ringo, and Laura nodded in agreement. Elizabeth smiled and responded, "Why, thank you, Paul. I'll take that as a compliment." This made him smile back. Philip said, "And since we've gotten to know each other better, you can visit me anytime in our apartment here should you need some advice for whatever problems you're facing or when going on adventures. We can hang out at the park, too!" George said, "Oh, that's wonderful, sir! We really appreciate it." Laura added, "Yeah! Thanks a lot indeed!" She then proceeded to give the Prince a hug, and he gently patted her head while smiling in return. Afterwards, she did the same for the Queen, her father, and finally, her uncles before returning to her seat. All of them continued enjoying their meals while sharing a good laugh with Philip's and John's jokes for the rest of the night.

George waited as John finished saying goodbye to their mates. He seemed to be asking them something, which made them frown a little, but then Ringo said something back, and John nodded and went back to George. Both Paul and Ringo looked very sad as they walked away, George noted. They had to change the future!
John and George talked about that as they walked. George didn't pay as much attention to where they were going this time, concentrating instead on this all-important conversation.
"I think, if we can get Brian to go on vacation in a couple of years, he should be all right."
