Once they were back outside, our heroes proceeded to the Palace gardens to activate the Corgi necklace. Since this is going to be an undercover search, they went for one of its more private spots: The gazebo. Afterwards, Elizabeth said, "Our time has come, my friends. Are you ready for this?" Laura replied, "Yes, ma'am. We're all set!" George and Pattie agreed. Elizabeth replied, "Very well, then!" So with five taps, the pendant's eyes glowed, and its mouth opened to release four small clouds of indigo-colored smoke. Then, one by one, they transformed the Queen, George, Laura, and Pattie into Corgi-fied versions of themselves. And not only did they retain their speech, but their eye colors and smiles as well! Additionally, they gained a stronger sense of smell and (of course) the ability to bark and howl. Laura said, "Aw! Aren't we just so cute, daddy George?" George replied, "You can say that again, Laura, darling! Woof! Woof!" This made Laura giggle in response. Pattie said, "I can also smell the flowers much more clearly now!" George said, "Me too, my love!" Elizabeth added, "And that means we will be able to track Lucky on an easier note!" Pattie replied, "Yeah, you're right." At that moment, the necklace lit up and beeped as a way to give them a signal. "Oh, what is it saying, Your Majesty?", asked Laura. Elizabeth replied, "It's letting us know where he is from here, and the location would have to be south and across the River Thames." Laura remarked, "Hmm... I see!" George said, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get moving!" Pattie added, "I second the motion! Arf!" The group then started the mission while walking on four legs.
