It was the 5th of November in the UK, and something grand was about to take place as afternoon turned into evening, for today is also known as Bonfire Night. Speaking of which, let's see what our heroes have been up to!
Well, as you might've guessed; they were on the road to celebrate the event at Battersea Park. This place had been suggested by John for having a splendid view of the fireworks (which was always the highlight of said event) as well as being perfect for families.
"You never cease to amaze us, Geo! I still cannot believe you managed to kill that power-hungry ghost with just a small sword." Paul remarked during the ride. "Indeed! You could say it was a bullseye on me part." George replied. "Bullseye is the word, mate!" nodded Ringo. Sparkie made a noise that sounded like he was saying, "Most definitely!" "And y'know what? I think we should start calling you Georgie Pan when you wear that costume again!" John added. "Hmm... I love the sound of that!" Pattie said. "So do I!" Laura chimed in. George could only smile and chuckle. Nonetheless, he approved of it.
When they arrived, the park was already bustling with excitement as the namesake fire crackled and popped. A certain poem was then recited by John (in the style of a marching chant) while the group looked for the perfect spot to watch the fireworks...
Remember, remember, the 5th of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason,
Why gunpowder treason,
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, 'twas his intent
To blow up the King and the Parliament.
Three score barrels of powder below
Poor old England to overthrow.
By God's providence he was catch'd,
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holler boys, holler boys, let the bells ring;
Holler boys, holler boys
God save the King!
After finding one (and on a more private area of the park), they went to get some food. There were wrapped baked potatoes, Bonfire Bangers (hot dogs), pumpkin soup, Yorkshire Parkin (a sticky, moist cake made with ginger, treacle, and oatmeal), and of course, toffee apples (the British term for candy apples)! A wide selection of hot chocolates were also available with choices ranging from mint to strawberry. During this, the Beatles met a good number of their fans, with many even congratulating George on his marriage.
"This is soooooo tasty!" Laura exclaimed as they feasted on their treats. "It certainly is, darling!" George replied. "And these toffee apples bring back memories of my first Bonfire Night when I was a young lad in Liverpool!" Paul added. "Oh, you had celebrations there, too?" Laura asked. "Yep! It's a nationwide tradition, in case you're wondering." Paul replied. "Awesome!" Laura remarked. Paul responded with a smile as everyone continued eating.
Two hours later, the fireworks display began. And it was truly a spectacular sight to behold for all.

As the group made their way down the dark coaches, it became more obvious that the ghost had indeed taken control of the train. Confirming this even further was when George held the lamp over one of the empty seats.
"Hmm... It seems like other passengers are being held hostage by that wretched phantom as well." He remarked. "Oh, so that must be the reason why the fireman was thankful about finding us. We've been spared!" Laura replied. "Yeah, I guess going to sleep must've had something to do with this." Ringo said. Sparkie nodded in agreement. Pattie then asked, "So how exactly are we gonna face the phantom, sweetie?" George replied, "Let's continue walking; I'm sure there's an emergency exit plan and maybe a rope or two which we can use to climb to the top." Pattie replied, "Okay. Good idea!" Laura and Ringo agreed.
And they did, while the engine made a roar-like sound in an attempt to scare them. It failed.

"Man, it feels so cozy in here!" Laura said after the group had taken their seats. "You can say that again, darling! Simply perfect for an overnight journey." Pattie replied. "Oh, and look! We even have our veddy own dinner menu!" George chimed in as he held up the mini booklet. "Then that makes it even better!" Pattie remarked. Ringo said, "Most definitely! I think this will be both a fun and relaxing ride. How 'bout you, Sparks?" The hedgehog made a noise that sounded like he was saying, "Indeed!" George, Laura, and Pattie nodded in agreement.
Before long, it was time for the train to leave. The ticket inspector came to check and stamp all of the boarding passes while the driver and fireman got themselves ready inside the engine. Afterwards, the guard blew his whistle and with a loud "PEEP! PEEP!", they were on their way!

Next up on the couple's itinerary is Inverness Castle. As a means of convenience, they opted to take the hotel's shuttle which offers free daily rides to the place. Their faces were again struck with awe after a short hike towards the top. "I think we can best describe this beauty with one word: Stunning!" George remarked. "I completely agree, my dear! Not to mention, the beige colour reflects very well with the sunlight." Pattie replied. "Mm-hmm! Indeed, love." George said. They then wasted no time in taking more photos. And because the castle was currently open to the public, they went inside it as well!
