This is just a part I've always wondered how the chracters of CHB would react to in Son of Neptune so I'm just writing this part....
A library wouldn’t have been Percy’s first choice for someplace to visit.
"and you thought you had grown on him." Nico snorted looking at Annabeth.
With his dyslexia, he had enough trouble reading signs. A whole building full of books? That sounded about as much fun as Chinese water torture or getting his teeth extracted.
"EXCUSE ME!" Annabeth said.
"All guys are disappointing" Thalia said smiling
As they jogged through the lobby, Percy figured Annabeth would like this place.
Everyone held their breathe, then Leo farted. He giggled and Piper said, "Always in the silence Leo. Always then."
"Yep."
"and he admits it." Jason groaned.
It was spacious and brightly lit, with big vaulted windows. Books and architecture, that was definitely her …
Annabeth looked excited. he was starting to remember and that would mean...
He froze in his tracks.
"What tracks?" Travis asked.
"Yeah, I've never understood that phrase." Connor said.
"What do you understand?" Rachel said.
"Well then."
‘Percy?’ Frank asked. ‘What’s wrong?’
Percy tried desperately to concentrate. Where had those thoughts come from? Architecture, books … Annabeth had taken him to the library once, back home in – in – The memory faded.
Tears weld up in Annabeth's eyes. so close. This wait was so damn frustrating! She slammed her fist on the table and Thalia whispered in her ear. She nodded and put her head down on her arms.
Percy slammed his fist into the side of a bookshelf.
He was angry too. Annabeth thought weakly. So close....Yet so far away. Annabeth finally understood the saying.
