Yeah, another one. I said I'd do this one soon! Yes, that counts for a couple minutes later.
So, have we all seen the tehmazing cover for the newest book? Yeah, I'm betting you have.
Weeeeeeell, let's break it down. Title, Background picture, and Main picture.
Title: The Mark of Athena
Well, this is a flashback to The Son of Neptune! Why, Ella, you predicted the next book! This is obviously a reference to the Daughter of Athena prophecy. No biggie. But, be quick to note that this is the Greek form. Definetly Annabeth.
Main Picture
Jason and Percy really hit it off! Eh, no. Erm, the swords aren't helping. The violent swinging isn't either. Or your gamefaces. Jeez, these two know how to make nice. Note the sarcasm there. This picture could possibly state Hera's plan is an epic failure, or Percy and Jason develop anger issues. Which requires they dramatically swing swords in a deadly motion while riding a demigodlyish horse. I don't think Hera would appreciate her plan being ruined because somebody got mad. Or, this might not state a direct fight between the two, it could take a fight between both camps. Either way, it ain't lookin so good.
Background Picture
Hehe, there's a stalker owl.... This represents the whole wisdom Athena thing. Yeah. It could also be the mark of Athena in action..... Well, doesn't matter, I named him Stalky.
And this concludes another vague interpretation by Blitz! Yay!
