James' POV

After 7 minutes of nonstop recorded messages and warnings, we arrived in Pemberton. Kyle walked up to a police officer at the entry. "Oh, hello" he said. Kyle introduced himself and asked if there was any chance we could strike new wheels here.

Officers POV
"Hmm....Well one of the rangers died not long ago. His vehicle is outside the station, but you'll have to find the keys somewhere in that god-forsaken area." I told them. By 'God-Forsaken' I meant that army of walkers just behind the building.

Kyle's POV
"Thanks. James, stay here." I told him. I made my way to the Rangers building, shooting any walker who came too close. I found it, but it was blocked by a gate and I needed a key. That's Just Great I thought. Perhaps one of the nearby campsites.

I began my key search. I checked the first and found a gallon of fuel. That can do me good. Not for getting through a locked gate, though. I checked the second. Not a single thing. Third, a key. Finally. I ran back to the Rangers Station and opened the gate. I entered the building after locating the vehicle.

James' POV
I got grabbed by a walker outside my own transportation. It bit me, but I didn't notice. I grabbed a nearby revolver and shot it in the head.

Kyle's POV
POW!

I heard a gunshot in the distance. That had to be James. I quickly looked around and found a pair of car keys. And a live radio.

???'s POV
"HELP!" I yelled to the ranger on the other end of the radio. I got a voice back from a I guess 30 year old man. "You scared the hell outta me!! There aint no fucking ranger!! Hes dead!" The man said. "Isnt there anybody els- AGGGHH!! HELP!! HELLPPppp..." I screamed as the walkers ate me alive.

Kyle's POV
"You scared the hell outta me!! There aint no fucking ranger!! Hes dead!" I shouted into the radio before listening to the lady being eaten alive by walkers.

Big Mistake To Not Run.

Walkers crashed through every single window and I dashed out the door to the vehicle, using a earlier found grenade in the process. It took a few minutes, but I shook loose the walkers and made it to the vehicle and saw James. "You don't need to hotwire it, James. I got the keys." I panted. "James? Aw FUCK!!" I shouted as the now zombified James turned around and tried to eat me. I stabbed him in the head and got in the vehicle after filling it up with fuel.

Kyle's POV
"Shit..." I muttered as I recalled what happened back there. He should've stayed inside the car. I turned off the radio saying, "I aint listenin' to this shit."


I had to find Riley.
