What a great episode to start off a series! I was hooked after the first scene! And you really know what you're getting yourself into with that opening scene. I agree that it's one of the best episodes of the series.



9. BESIDE THE DYING FIRE
Final episode of the second season.

The final season is almost here, with only a couple of days to go. It's time for death predictions!

CHARACTERS I'M SURE WILL DIE:

LUKE AND/OR MAGNA:
When: If both die, it's not gonna be at the same time. Either during 11B or 11C.
Why: Because it's still the only group unaffected since they showed up a full two seasons ago. Yumiko is pretty much taking on Michonne's story, so she's safe. I don't see them reuniting the sisters only to kill one of them off. That leaves these two.

I was planning on posting this sooner, but then real life stuff happened. You know, school, work, all that bullshit. But hey, better late than never!

Without further ado, here are my annual death predictions. This year I think most of the deaths will be minor characters, so there will probably more deaths this season than last, especially with the war coming and all.

CHARACTERS I'M SURE WILL DIE:

SHIVA:
When: During the War.
Why: Having that kind of characters is complicated and expensive. At first, I didn't think they would bring in Shiva at all, because of all the CGI, bit I'm so glad they did!...

Welcome to the final part of my Hogwarts sorting for this fandom. The last, but not least, Gryffindor!




DARYL:
One of the Gryffindor traits is that they are impulsive, and I think we can all agree that Daryl is probably the most impulsive character of this series. Very often, he acts before thinking and ends up putting himself or someone else in trouble. When he's angry, he acts and then feels guilty about what he did, like when he punched Negan, which resulted in Glenn's death. Or when he opened the door to a bunch of walkers that nearly killed him and...

I've already made a comparison with Sophia from the graphic novels and her character being put into three different characters on the TV version.


The show kind of did that with Andrea's character as well. The difference being that Andrea's character from the source material has been spread out through four characters on the TV show, but those four characters are on the show at the same time.




CAROL:
After Andrea's death in the TV show, the first character that started to get some of GN!Andrea was Carol.

Carol has come a long way to be where she is right now, and they completely changed her...

I'm back this year, as promised. Here are my death predictions for the next season.

I have less predictions than last year, but there are bigger characters on it.

I think this season will be a bit different than season 6, with less deaths but bigger ones.

CHARACTERS I'M SURE WILL DIE:

ABRAHAM FORD
When: Season premiere.
Why: They've been foreshadowing his death since season 6, with him talking about the future and making babies and starting a new life. That's a huge red flag. Then he has a really touching 'goodbye' scene with Eugene. Red flag again. And everything in the last scene...

Sophia is an important part of the graphic novels and yet had an early demise on the tv show. Though the character of Sophia is no longer on the tv show, that doesn't mean her role died with her.

I think that Beth was used as a first replacement for Sophia and Enid as a second replacement for her. Let me tell you why.



Sophia's journey from the graphic novels starts with a little girl frightened by this world. Later on, after her mom dies, she is been taken care of by Maggie and Glenn who become her surrogate parents....

Beware, this might contain spoilers for people not up to date in the comics AND people who haven't read Rise of the Governor.

If you are not a comic reader, you can still read this and probably still enjoy it. But beware for spoilers again, because on the show they are doing a lot of the same stuff from the comics.

10. DWIGHT
Occupation: Leader of the Saviors

He's not a big character, but I think he still deserves to be on that...

Here is my personal death predictions for Season 6. Those aren't deaths that I want to happen, but deaths I think will happen.

I spend the majority of his scenes rolling my eyes, fuming, or grumbling "nobody cares, Prick". This article contains 13 characters that we know very little about, who appeared in less than 5 episodes, and were still more interesting for me to watch than our righteous hero. It took me a long long time to write this, but I had zero inspiration to write it. But I have to do it before my death predictions and before season 9 starts, so here I am.

I really did enjoy this part of the season more than the first one, though.

We ended the first part of the season with Carl being bitten on the stomach and the Saviors attacking Alexandria.





HONOR:
The episode was a roller coaster. I think everything happening in the Kingdom was great. The scene with Gavin and Morgan was just amazing. It was a nice nod to the old classic serial killer movies....

This is an extended version of a comment I left on a link after it was revealed that Morgan would be the crossover character between TWD & FTWD.

I'm not all that enthusiastic about the idea, but it is technically possible given the two timelines. The way I see it, it could go down one of three ways. But first, a look at what happened when with Morgan:

-Day 60: Morgan and his son Duane met Rick in King County, Georgia.

The first half ended on a hopeful note, with Daryl reuniting with Team Family and Rick going to the Hilltop to make an alliance and to build forces to beat Negan.
