As I sat with Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Jasper and Alice, watching CNN, a story caught my attention. I looked back to the television from where I had been staring into space, and listened to the report. There were hundreds of poor, bruised women running hurriedly and aimlessly down the streets, having just escaped from their violent partners. All of the defenseless women were wearing tear-streaked faces and extremely sullen expressions as they ran, screaming and shouting. I felt a sudden wave of empathy for them. Over a hundred years ago, in my human life, I was one of them. Maybe I had more money, and maybe I was more beautiful, but I had been in that exact position. My fiance and his drunken friends had attacked me one freezing night in the falling snow, and left me for dead as I struggled to crawl along the cold, hard, slippy pavement. Carlisle had found me, and transformed me, and for that I should be grateful. But, did he really save my life? Or did he doom me to an eternal being of disgustingness? I wasn't sure. Of course, I had met my 'soul-mate', my dearest Emmett, who I loved completely. However, there was always something in the back of my mind that revolved around my past life. How perfect it had been, up until that tragic night.
I had gotten my revenge, as to be expected, but it hadn't satisfied me as much as I had hoped. There was still a huge hole where my heart should be, and I doubted it would ever heal. It was something I had learnt to ignore.
Recently, things have been difficult. Since Edward met Bella, our family has been more... strained. I loved Bella dearly as a sister, and her daughter Renesmee as my own, but I couldn't help loathing her desicions. She had chosen to be a vampire, and given up everything I had ever dreamed of. Bella and Edward have been together for years now, and she has long become one of us. Their beautiful daughter Renesmee is now five years old- or sixteen, I should say- and the most adorable girl I have ever seen. She is half human, though in two years will become fully immortal. I just don't understand why that has to happen. Nessie is so amazing, and has the perfect balance in her life; half human, engaged to a werewolf, vampire family. But, I know that life can be cruel sometimes.
In the past few years, many things have changed. There has been lots more disruption, and the Cullens have had to sort it out. At the moment, we have a problem too;
Renesmee has made friends with a girl at school named Tauri, who had pure vampire scent soaked into her skin. She was human herself, though must have some relationship with a human-blood drinking vampire. And that vampire had caused much disruption for us. They were a newborn, that was obvious, as they left their murders messy and their trail completely easy to track. Everyone had been running around manically trying to find the source as quickly as they could. Jasper had even considered going to find and fight with them, but had been restrained by Edward before he could even think about it properly.
I haven't taken an interest in this new task, as recently, my head has been filled with other thoughts and rhetorical questions, as I knew they would never be answered: Why had it happened to me? What had I done to deserve this eternal damniation? Where had I gone wrong in life to get all this?
There was a loud noise, interrupting my thoughts.
"Carlisle! We haven't moved around in ages, and this is our chance! Plus, I'm in need of a good fight. My strength is being wasted on other things," Emmett whined, and winked in my direction.
Suddenly, I realised something. I was too trapped here. It wasn't what I wanted, and neither was he. This life just was not for me. I had tried, and failed miserably. I had to get out. I loved them all very dearly, of course, but I just couldn't suffer this any longer. I excused myself, ran to my room, inked a long letter about how sorry I was, and then sprang to the large upstairs window. I positioned myself, and then with one tiny glance back, I leaped out and raced away into the sunset...

Ouch! And ouch again!
Method acting? Vampire-playing Robert Pattinson admits he sometimes slips into character when he's out with the ladies.
"I've been known for a little nibble," he told reporters at the London premiere of his film Twilight.
Mr. Pattinson's co-star, meanwhile, shared one of his less-successful efforts to impress the opposite sex. "He tried to pick me up ... and he pulled his groin," said Kristen Stewart, 18. "It was hilarious! He was hurt, but he was laughing."

Nikki, 20, recently told InStyle magazine about how she likes to be comfortable: “I feel comfortable in this [her clothes] because it’s loose-fitting, and I get to sit down in a chair! They put me in 12-inch stilettos [in the movie] because I am supposed to be taller than my sister… It was the running joke that we might not be able to shoot because I might not be able to walk. I was like, ‘Can you just have us sitting and put me on a pillow?’”
The Twilight soundtrack is currently in the #1 spot on Billboard.com and iTunes! The film opens in theaters next week.
So, the past week had been filled with Twilight pictures. Everyday we got at least 2 amazing pictures. Well, now that the Twilight Illistrated Movie Companion is out, there are scans of pictures from the movie in the book on the internet.
And someone from LiveJournal really caught my eye... in a bad way. This particular person is saying stuff like "**** Summit" or "**** Twilight Illustrated Movie Companion". What I don't get is... Why do they choose to look at the pictures?! The person who posted these pictures warned that they would be spoilers, and announced not click the link if they didn't want to see them.
Those who want to be surprised by the movie, that's fine. But they shouldn't go around cussin Summit or Stephenie Meyer or any other fansite because they chose to view them.

I am sure you already read Stephenie's message on her website about Midnight Sun being halted indefinately.
Some petitions have already been started on link to show Stephenie our support and to agree to not violate her right to privacy by reading the illegal material.
I know it takes some time, but be sure to sign all of them, show your love! Here are a few links to the petitions:

There are people that cross our lives
in tiny fractions of time,
in the briefest of encounters,
and yet they leave and incredible mark
in our hearts and in our minds forever.
"Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, that person sends out a tiny ripple of ove and hope, and crossing each other fro a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppresion and resistance."
Now these poems were written by some one else, but deseved to be shared and they kind of have something in commen with the series.
