Biology ended quickly or so it seemed to me. Anglea met me outside the door and we walked to her car. Edward followed behind close enough to be within hearing range but not breathing down our necks.

"Bella?"

"Yeah?"

"UGTTHT?"

It was an acronym we used when people were listening in it stood for you go to the hospital today?

I shook my head I went yesterday, not today.

It was a dismissal, he followed us all the way outside past his car to the middle of the parking lot. Weird. Wonder why he was following us anyways. His sister the only one I havent met, Rosalie shouted at him to get in the car. Angela was talking about her English class and her coversation with Ben. Instead of me going inside and Algela going directly home she decided to help around the house, help with homework and help make dinner, because having a blind person cooking on a stove or baking is a bad idea.

I flung a sppon which hopefully had spagetti on it at Angela.

"Bella!"

"Wasnt me!"

"Liar." She smiled it was rare for me to do things like that, truely having fun.

I heard me dads police cruiser pull up and park in the drive way. The keys jingle when he gets them out of his pocket to unlock the door.

"Hey girls! Angela you stayin for dinner?"

"No Chief Swan I just though i'd give her company while shes here, but I do have to go now I have to baby sit the twins tonight."

Time lapsed by quickly I barley noticed what I was doing at dinner or remember taking a shower or going to bed but I snapped out of it when I swore I heard someone else breathing in my room.

It freightened me that someone was there and i couldnt see them. How did they get in my room anyways?

Edward was late. He was usually dead on eight if he didn’t turn up before. It was half past eight and I was worried. I paced up and down the living-room. Jacob sat on the couch and watched me. He was just as worried as I was. Edward had impeccable time-keeping, he would call if he was going to be late, he didn’t leave me in the dark like this.

Jacob and I were sat at my kitchen table eating breakfast. Edward had left as soon as Jacob knocked on my door at eight. Sam had arranged for Edward and Jacob to work in twelve hour shifts to protect me. Edward was from eight at night to eight in the morning and Jacob was eight in the morning to eight at night. They never really stuck to their shifts and sometimes Jacob stayed until after midnight and Edward spent the entire day with me and Jacob. Jacob and Edward were civil.
