When people think about the actors and actresses who have played the Batman characters, they likely think of the 60's Batman cast and the cast members from the various cartoons and films that were done by Warner Bros. I believe that all the casts are significant and worth celebrating, so it's my honor to highlight the cast of Alyas Batman en Robin.

Alyas Batman en Robin was a film that was scheduled to come out in 1989. However, Warner Bros. feared the film was trying to compete with their own Batman film that they had coming out that year. Alyas Batman en Robin was not officially made with...

This article is dedicated in loving memory to Christopher Reeve, Lee Quigley, Margot Kidder, Marlon Brando, Jackie Cooper, Glenn Ford, Phyllis Thaxter and Ned Beatty.

Superhero movies have become extremely popular. In fact, they're one of the most popular types of films. However, superhero films used to not be so common or beloved. In the 1940's, there were various superhero movie serials. They were decently successful, but they weren't meant to be re-watched or to have much to have much of a lasting legacy.

Things changed in the year 1978. That was the year that Richard Donner's Superman movie...

Superman Returns is a film that came out in June of 2006. The film, which starred Brandon Routh as Superman, was meant to lead to, at the very least, one sequel. That ended up not happening. The film did get decent reviews from critics, but fans have been split on it. While I can't say that the film is perfect, I can certainly say that it's a good film that's important to me.

Superman Returns might seem like a reboot of the Superman film franchise. The trailer even showed a few scenes of Clark Kent as a kid, which would give some people the impression that this film is an origin story. That...

There have been quite a few spin-off films, but in order to keep things easier, I'll be focusing on the two main X-Men casts.

First, there was a trilogy of films, 2000's X-Men, 2003's X2: X-Men United and 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand. Instead of rebooting the franchise, Fox decided to do prequel films with a younger cast. First, there was 2011's X-Men: First Class. Then there was 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past. That film has scenes from both the past and future, so the original cast and the new cast both appear in the film. The second cast returned for two more films, 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse...

I miss the days of Batman. You might be wondering what that means, because there's plenty of new Batman content. However, I'm not talking about the dark, violent, anti-social vigilante who fights a clown that was disturbingly violent. I'm talking about the bright, heroic, fun superhero who fought a clown that was delightfully goofy. When I see people talk about who Batman is and what he's about, they usually describe the darker Batman from recent decades. It's sad to hear that, because that's not the Batman that Bill Finger created.

In Batman's first year, 1939, he was a dark vigilante. However,...

In addition to being one of the most popular characters in comics, Batman has had a successful career on television. He has had several shows of his own, in addition to being in shows with his fellow superheroes.

Adam West played Batman in 1966's live-action Batman television series, as well as 1979's Legends of the Superheroes TV special. He voiced Batman in 1977's The New Adventures of Batman and the last two seasons of Super Friends.

Olan Soule voiced Batman in 1968's The Adventures of Batman and most seasons of Super Friends. He also voiced Batman in his guest appearances on Sesame Street...

This led to the superheroes being adapted in several forms of media, including films. As time has gone on, more and more superhero films were released. Now, superhero films are among the most successful films in the world.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is an extremely beloved animated series, that has three seasons. Due to usually disliking popular things and having an odd enjoyment for hated things, I kept avoiding this show. I thought I wouldn't enjoy it, but I'm glad I was wrong.

I was planning on ranking the three seasons, but I decided it would make the most sense to go in order. If you haven't seen each season, you might want to avoid reading this article, because there will be spoilers.

Book One

Book One had a lot going against it. In order to keep the show's main villain, Ozai, a mysterious threat, he basically...

The purpose of my articles is to highlight stars and films that deserve more attention. Vincent Price is a star that's undeniably famous and legendary. Despite that, I still believe he's underrated and deserves even more recognition and respect.

Vincent Price was an actor who became famous for his unique style of acting, as well as his interesting filmography. Vincent Price had a habit of starring in films that centered around spooky stuff. Some of his films are even classified under the horror genre. However, unlike other horror films, Vincent Price's film weren't super scary or gory. Instead...

The popularity of 2010's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic led to My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, a spin-off from 2013. The film had Twilight Sparkle going to the human world and meeting human versions of her friends. Although fans were initially worried about the concept not working out, the film turned out to be a success. The success led to three sequels: 2014's Rainbow Rocks, 2015's Friendship Games and 2016's Legend of Everfree. Also, Sunset Shimmer, a character created for Equestria Girls, became a fan favorite.

Batman, along with Superman, quickly became one of the top two most iconic superheroes in the history of comics. However, the 1960's television series helped Batman achieve news levels of fame. The show also helped Adam West become a superstar. Due to how popular he and his co-stars were, lots of people wanted the cast of the show to appear in other Batman productions.

Here's a list of the times that 60's Batman cast members appeared in other Batman shows and films:

Adam West and Burt Ward returned to voice the Dynamic Duo in 1977's The New Adventures of Batman. The cartoon show had 16 episodes....

Bill Finger used to be unknown, but nowadays, he is known as the co-creator of Batman. Bill Finger wrote the earliest Batman comics in 1939. He continued writing Batman comics throughout the 40's and 50's. While Bob Kane came up with the initial ideas for Batman, I believe that Bill Finger is the one who gave Batman his moral integrity and unique charm.

Bill Finger wasn't created for his work in comics, but he was created for his television work. Bill Finger had the honor of getting to write a two-part adventure for the 60's Batman television series. He co-wrote the episodes "The Clock King's...

There have been plenty of good films. However, there's a certain few films that leave a long, powerful impact on us. For me and for a lot of other people, Wolfwalkers is one of those films. Wolfwalkers is a film that's been getting great reviews from both critics and audiences. There are times where films get overhyped, but I believe Wolfwalkers lives up to the hype. It's a true masterpiece that deserves to be seen and treasured for people of all ages. Well, except for really little kids, because some scenes are too intense for toddlers. It's a great film for kids and their parents to watch....

When people think about their favorite superheroes and villains, it's important to remember the people that created these characters in the first place. Sadly, creators not getting credit for their comic characters was a common thing. For a long time, Jerry Siegel and Joel Shuster didn't get credit for creating Superman. As for Bill Finger, it took over seven decades for him to be credited as Batman's creator and to this day, Batman's still credited as "Created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger". If you want the honest truth, Batman was created by Bill Finger. It is not my place to judge Bob Kane...
