So let’s just get this out of the way while there is still time. I love the Persona franchise. I was planning on doing a big project with it, but now isn’t the right time, so… later. But for now, let’s talk about the first of a few Persona games that will be appearing on the list. And what better game to talk about than one that mashes both of my loves into one. Persona and Fighting games. It’s Persona 4 Arena Ultimax baby!
The story is a follow up to Arena, the first one, which I have not played (oops). It involves an event known as the P1 Climax, a fighting tournament that is created by the new villain of the game in order to turn the world into Shadows or something. I don’t know, it’s a fighting game, the plot is dumb, let’s have an actual waifu war instead of just talking in the comments like babies. The game is surprisingly deep with its fighting. You got some basic attacks here and there, but then you can mix it up with using Persona skills. You can knock out your enemies Persona for the rest of the match, but if you aren’t careful, they can do the same to you and you can be really screwed. They also have the chance to do all sorts of status ailments, like shock, despair, or rage. What they do, I am not sure, but it’s very similar to the RPG mechanics of the original game. And there are a great number of characters to choose from. You got the usual members of the Investigation Team, Yu, Chie, Yosuke, best girl Naoto, the usual. But Ultimax introduces the SEES group from Persona 3, with Akihiko, Junpei, worst girl Yukari, and Mitsuru all here. The game also introduces three different scenarios, the first following the Persona 4 team, the second following the Persona 3 team, and if you’re a huge nerd (like me), you can buy the third story, along with a new fighting character, and the campaign follows (REDACTED) as he goes around doing what (REDACTED) does best, since (REDACTED) was the killer, it’s neat to see what (REDACTED) is up to these days. Still being a crude shit, that’s what. And the soundtrack is real damn good, mixing up the jazzy soundtrack of 4 with the rap beats of 3, as well as making some amazing original scores for the game, it all makes it a fun time to play with some friends and talk about who best girl is (It’s totally Naoto, don’t even fucking fight me on this).
While I still need to put more hours into this classic fighting game, I am greatly satisfied with what I have played so far and I look forward to trying out more of what this game has to offer. And with that said, we are now 25% of the way done with the Top 100. Pretty good games all around, but the games just get better and more classic from here on out. Maybe a few niche titles here and there, but I promise nothing but classics from here on out. And who knows, maybe there will be some changes in the writing of this article. You never know.
Oh look, its Jeff the Killer. Jeff the Killer. Jeff the motherfucking Killer. Yeah, well fuc you you overrated prick. You suck.
Incase no one noticed, I fucking hate the Jeff the Killer story. I do. I really do. And why. Well, its a fucking disaster, that's why. It is poorly written, and there was no effort put into it at all. Lets start with that Jeff's brother gets arrested for defending himself. And the court instantly finds him guilty. What kind of fucking trial is that. The court system in Phoenix Wright are better then this fucking place.
Also, when Jeff gets set on fire, I'd like to point...

Henry: so... what are you working on?

Simon: none of your concern

Henry: can I help?

Simon: why should I let a insecure 19 year old with no experiences with science help me?

Henry: point taken

Simon: why are you in here?

Henry: I just want to know what you are making!

Simon: a cure for cancer

Henry: how will that help the war?

Simon: not every thing has to be about war... it will help the lives of millions! and some might see the day this chaos ends...

Henry: ok then... whats the progress?

Simon: dead-fuc*ing-end

Henry: welcome to my world

This is a parody of My Little Pony. The voice actors for the mane 6 are..

Ice Cube - Twilight Sparkle
Kath Soucie - Rainbow Dash
Sargent Schultz from Hogan's Heroes - Pinkie Pie
Wally from The Cleveland Show - Fluttershy
Tabitha St. Germain - Rarity
Ashleigh Ball - Applejack

Now, let's begin. Spike was helping Twilight train with her magic.

Spike: Come on Twilight, you can do it.
Twilight: Man, shut the fuck up, and stand still. *Uses magic to give Spike a mustache*
Spike: *Looks at himself in a mirror* This is awesome. Now I can ask Applebloom out.
Twilight: Wait, I thought you liked Rarity....

Vroom in the Night Sky is considered by many to be the worst game on the Nintendo Switch, let alone one of the worst games ever. Developed by Poisoft, a studio that clearly doesn’t speak English, Vroom in the Night Sky was once a Wii U exclusive, but was able to crawl it’s way out of the bargain bin console and onto your Nintendo Switch. I want you to let that sink in. Trash like Vroom in the Night Sky was able to survive the Wii U and yet Wonderful 101 remains trapped on there. This was the game that was considered better than Vroom in the Night Sky. May god forgive us all.

So from...

Well, this is a first of many, I feel. Fray, a game by the studio Brain Candy, an indie team that had passion for this game, this online multiplayer that anyone could get into. Fray was a game set in 2098 in a cyberpunk setting, you play as one of three giant corporations that want complete control over the Earth’s virtual communication system, and hire four soldiers to take out the other companies. Cyberpunk settings were always some of my favorite, so I was interesting in playing this game. So how is it? Well… It’s nothing. You can buy this game off Steam right now, but I wouldn’t...

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was one of my favorite films as a kid. A classic film starring Gene Wilder filled with adventure and whimsy… We’re not talking about that one. The Tim Burton remake, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which felt more drab but at least the visuals were nice… also not what we’re talking about, technically. The video game, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for PS2, published by Warner Bros. Interactive, who now own the Mortal Kombat license. Weird, mentioning Mortal Kombat in each article thus far. The game was developed by High Voltage Software, who...

So Metal Gear Solid 2 was a lot of fun, and I only have brief memories of playing the original Metal Gear Solid on PS1… And I never played Metal Gear Solid 4. So that must mean we are limited to one other Metal Gear Solid game. One that has, not Snake, but someone else. That’s right, it’s Metal Gear Solid V: Phan- Okay, even I can’t run that joke into the ground. No, seriously, though, it’s Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid 3 takes place in the 1960s, the Cold War is just heating up, and the American hero known as The Boss has betrayed the American people and joined...

So I was pretty big into the RPG genre when I started to hear about the Shin Megami Tensei games. And when I hear people talk about it, a lot of snobs tell me to go for Nocturne, but some people recommend I try out Persona. I heard about it, and I also heard about some things about it, and I decided to start off with what was considered the most popular, Persona 4. And I loved it!
Persona 4 follows Yu Narukami, the only protagonist so far with a consistent name, as he arrives at the small town of Inaba to stay for a year while his parents are on a business trip. He goes about a normal...

So he’s an odd thing to just say out of the blue. Silent Hill 2, in regards to writing, is a far better game than Resident Evil 4. In almost every single way, Silent Hill 2 is the superior horror game. But, on a gameplay perspective, on a replayable perspective, Resident Evil 4 is the better game. And it is a game I remember playing when I was a little kid, and found far less scary than the Remake, so I was able to enjoy it far more at that age. So let’s talk about it, shall we?
Resident Evil 4 followed Leon S. Kennedy, a strapping young man who has gotten his first job as the president’s...

So back when I was talking about Bloodborne on this list, I mentioned how there was one game by FromSoftware that just couldn’t beat this one, and unless you’ve been living under a rock for the passed ten years, then you will know that game is Dark Souls, the first one, of course.
Dark Souls is set in the medieval kingdom of Lordran, and you play as the Chosen Undead, one of the many who have been sent to this dying land in a world where people cannot die. Your goal is to collect the souls of the four ancient lords who ruled this land and use them to either rekindle the First Flame...

So, Persona 3 was a good game, and then Persona 4 came out and it was even better, and then we all wondered what sort of thing Persona 5 would be. And then we had to wait… for a long time. And I mean a looooooooooooooooooooooong time. But boy, let me tell you, when it finally came to grace the west, we were not expecting something like this, and we loved every second of it.
Persona 5 follows Ren Amamiya Pizza Pasta Mama Mia, or as fans prefer to call him, Akira, as he is sent to live with his guardian in Tokyo after being blamed for assaulting the Prime Minister, and is forced to experience...

Despite being a huge baby when I was a kid, there were few horror games or movies that scared me. I was mostly scared by trivial things, like the boulder in Crash Bandicoot or the PS1 startup screen. I was never really scared of anything horror related… Resident Evil Remake was that one exception.
Being worked from the ground up to reimagine the original game and make it even more stunning, the game follows the S.T.A.R.S. team as they go into the mountains to investigate mysterious murders. There, they find a mansion full of zombies and monsters and now must survive to uncover the truth...

So it’s clear that I am a fan of the Zelda games, since I have had them in my possession ever since I was a young kid. But one that I had not played until much later in life was the classic N64 title that is a sequel to the even more classic Ocarina of Time, and that is known as Majora’s Mask, known by many for being utterly horrifying.
Majora’s Mask, taking place after Ocarina of Time, sees Link in a new land called Termina, where he is searching for the mysterious Skull Kid who is planning to drop the moon onto the town in three days time, giving Link a very limited amount of time...

So Melee was a good Smash game. Hell, it was amazing. It could’ve just been because it was the first I played and had more free time on my hands, but I put so much time into Melee, that no other future Smash Bros. game compared. Smash 4 was something I got tired of quick, and while I enjoyed Brawl and it’s story mode, I already felt like I had saw it all. And then, there comes the new one. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
When this game was announced with the tagline “Everyone is Here”, the world got together and fucking lost their shit. Understandably of course. And when they said...

Some time ago, I reviewed the four episode anime series, Corpse Party: Tortured Souls. It was a pretty neat show that I think works as a horror series, but said that it wasn’t for everyone. Before I watched that anime, I had not played any of the Corpse Party games. But, I can now say that it has changed. And I managed to get the 3DS version for the low, low price of only almost sixty bucks. What the hell?! Well, let’s get into the review of Corpse Party for 3DS.

First off, why did this game that isn’t really that big in content cost so much? Because you cannot play this game in...

So a few days ago, I watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Being a big Star Wars fan, and having watched The Force Awakens, I thought that I could get some enjoyment out of this film. And then I saw the reviews online. Critics seem to really like this movie. Fans…….. Oh. Review after review of people saying that this movie was an ungodly mess of a film and that this was one of the worst Star Wars movies ever made. I was actually surprised to see the amount of hate, but I thought to myself that, maybe I should give this movie a watch and see what all of the fuss was about. And that is why I...

After defeating a few wild Pokemon, Mercury evolved into a Quilladin. This made Nik disappointed, but made him look forward to the final powerful evolution.

After besting Professor Sycamore in a Pokemon battle, Nik was given a choice between a Bulbasaur, a Charmander, and a Squirtle. He chose the Squirtle and named it Fall Out Boy.

After more battles, Marky Mark evolved into a Butterfree, and become a more powerful and reliable ally amongst Nik’s Pokemon.

Route 5, Versant Road, was a bust for Nik, as it was only filled with Bunnelby. It wasn’t until Nik lost his chance that actual good Pokemon...

You know... The word equality gets thrown around a lot these days. So before I start off this article, let me get something out of the way first. An opinion that, while is just an opinion, is gonna piss off tons of people. So, get ready for it... I don't like Life is Strange... At all... I think the story is poorly written, I don't like how puzzles need to be solved, and I really don't like Max. But that's a different article for a different day, so back on topic. I am not alone on people who dislike this game, calling it a Tumblr mess with bad characters and gameplay. And while that is true,...
