“No. Not that I remember, at least” I turned away
“You said you had a sister. What does she call you?” asked a male voice
“She calls me cat, because of well, you know. She also said when I was born, an oracle said I would do bad things and my real name is a curse where we’re from. The oracle was right. I did do bad things. Now we’re being chased by some creepy guys and the assassin leader, some chick in a short green kimono and a white mask” I shivered
“Shadow’s” said one of them
“No, I’m pretty sure they’re real” I remembered when they shot at me.
“No, they’re working either with or for the League of Shadows.” A girl said
“I see… the League of Shadows. I’m just going to take my sister and go now” I said. I started to walk away from the crazy people when one managed to get in front of me. I ran towards the cliff and started to climb it. I put Thalia on my back and attached her silver bracelets on each wrist together so she wouldn’t fall. I climbed fifty feet before I stopped. The people just stared at me like I was about to do something bad. I kept climbing. I climbed another twenty feet before I needed to rest. I found a small ledge to rest on. I put Thalia right beside me. I tried to wake her.
“Thalia, please wake up! Please!” I pleaded
“Five more minutes” she said as she turned on her side. What a lazy bones.
“Dude, we’re seventy feet above the ground, not at home in bed!” I laughed
“What? Last time I checked, we were on the beach” she said, getting up. She looked around.
“Where are the creeps?” she asked
“They ran away when you screamed” I smiled. I heard something and pulled down my hood, revealing my cat ears. I got on all fours and sniffed the air. The crazy people from the beach. I pulled my hood back up, knowing that even though they might be a couple branches short of a tree, they wouldn’t hurt us. A male with fiery red hair climbed up, followed by the green girl, who was followed by a teen age looking guy with black hair and blue eyes.
“I thought you said she needed medical attention” the black haired one growled
“I woke her up” I turned back to Thalia “Ready to go?” I asked. She nodded. She stood up and grabbed my hand. We ran towards the cliff face and jumped. But instead of plummeting to our doom, we flew. We flew low to the ground. That was a mistake considering one of the guys grabbed my ankle and pulled me to the ground. Thalia came down to.
“What was that for?” I demanded
“It’s too late for you too leave. You must rest or risk hurting your self” he said calmly. I sighed and helped Thalia up.
“Fine. But we can’t stay long” I rolled my eyes
