“Thank you Captain obvious” I rolled my eyes
“Not by me, by Roulette. She wants revenge on Black Canary and the Huntress.” Red Hood added
“How do I know you’re not lying?” I demanded
“I may be a lot of things, but I’m not a liar” Jason replied. I walked off into the bushes. Once no body could see me, I started running back to the mountain. I ran in, changed into my uniform, then sprinted through the forest. When I got near the clearing, I slowed to a walk. I walked back in the clearing and looked at Green Arrow.
“So, when do we leave?” I asked
“How’d you know we were going to go find your mother and Huntress?” he asked
“You had that look in your eyes” I smiled. He looked at me skeptically, then nodded. We were about to leave when someone cleared their throat loudly. I turned to see the team standing there, arms crossed. I looked at Green Arrow and he nodded. I walked back.
“I know what you’re going to say ‘Night, you can’t leave.’ And if that’s it, then you are wrong.” I said
“I was going to say good luck.” Kalder smiled “If you need backup, you know who to call”
“I’ll be back as soon as possible” I pulled my mask up and waved good bye. “Tell Batman that I’m on a mission with Green Arrow” Kalder nodded. I walked out with my Father.
“So, how are we supposed to find Roulette?” I asked
“She’s not that discreet. We’ll find her easily. Knowing her, she has some caged fight thing going on” Green Arrow said
“How are we supposed to get around? We can’t just teleport everywhere” I pointed out
“I know. And I have an idea” he smiled. “J’onn, can you get us to Dinah’s place?” I heard a muffled reply and we teleported to a nice apartment. I looked around.
“Where are we?” I asked
“We’re in your mother’s apartment” Green Arrow replied
“Wait, my mother’s name is Dinah?” I tilted my head
“Yup. Speaking of your mother, it’s time to get going” He walked out the door and to an elevator. He clicked the button and we waited for a couple minutes. Once it got here, we took it down to the garage. When we were in the garage, Green Arrow walked over to a dark blue motorcycle. I was liking this more and more.
“This is your mother’s. We’ll be tracking her on this” he passed me a helmet.
“Can I drive?” I asked hopefully

Three weeks later…
I opened my eyes and looked at my calendar. It was December 24. Christmas Eve. It was also the three week anniversary of my mother’s death and the week anniversary of her funeral. I sighed and felt the locket on my neck. Today, it would gain two more pictures. I changed into a red top with some nice jeans and some converse. I slipped on my green hoodie and flew out the door. They were all specially made for my wings. I flew into the lounge and saw I was the second one up. Batman was there too. I flew over to him.
“Hey Batman! Ready to set up the tree?” I asked cheerfully....

KF patted my back. "Don't be so hard on yourself. It was your first mission after three years."
"But I was so sure that was an Earthbender!" I exclaimed. "I mean, what else could make the ground shake?"

He shrugged. "Batman said he was heading to base, so he's heading here."
I spun around in the revolving chair. "Go home, Wally. You don't have to stay with me."

A cloudy mist formed over Gotham Harbor, making it nearly impossible to see if not for my supervision.
