“That’s impossible. There’s no such thing as Helios or Prometheus. Those are just ways to explain the weather” he rolled his eyes
“Ask Flash then. Him, Batman, Superman, J’onn and Diana went to Themyscira and fought Hades with Hypolita. If all those Greek myths are really just that, then how is Diana alive? Amazon’s are one of those myths. Same with Hades. Explain that” I challenged
“That just proves that fire is magic, not your mumbo jumbo” he said
“So, how do you explain this?” I asked “Lex eeb nacorb” his goggles turned into spiders. He screamed like a little girl. The team came running.
“Liana, are you okay? We heard you scream” Robin asked
“That wasn’t me” I was trying so hard to keep my laughter down. They all looked at Wally. I burst out in laughter along with Robin and Artemis.
“I thought Fate was supposed to be kind?!” he demanded
“Fate is Fate. It can not be changed, no matter how much it sucks” I shrugged. “Anied muceb namew” his goggle turned back into goggles.
“You are an evil-“ he was cut off by an alarm. I slipped the helmet of Fate on and flew out of the room. I flew into the main room and found Batman standing there. The rest of the team ran in.
“Team, there has been a series of mystical disturbances all around the world. The justice league is handling them, but we are spread too thin to root the problem. You must find the source of the disturbances and stop it” Batman said
“It’s probably Felix Faust” I said
“Um, Faith, Faust is dead” Robin whispered
“That didn’t stop him last time. Do you not remember when Shayera and Wonder Woman had to go into the Underworld to stop Faust, even after he died. His spirit had taken control of the weapon Annihilator. Anyways, it was just a guess. I don’t know many other evil magicians” I said
“Faith does have a point. But, where would Faust be if he was creating all those magical disturbances?” Batman wondered
“I don’t know. But I can find out” I brought up a screen of the world map. I typed in a bunch of letters and numbers and approximately fifty dots came up on the screen. I looked at each one carefully, then typed in something different. The dots changed color.
“Uh, Faith? What are you doing?” Robin asked
“I’m calculating the density of mythical proportions at each of the sites, then rating them accordingly, thus providing an estimate epicenter of the magic” I said like it was obvious
“Uhhh?” the team all looked confused
“I’m tracking magic sign” I said slowly
“Ohhhh” the team all nodded. I rolled my eyes.
