Revenge of the Soviets

Prologue-

When vines wrapped around Holly's legs in a parking lot, she knew it could only be one person.

"Poison Ivy." she said.

"Hey dear," the red-head said, stepping into the light as the vines slowly slithered up Holly's legs. "Long time no see."

"No wonder. I went to Arkham because of you." she hissed as the meta-human got closer.

"Did I ask to be rescued?" Ivy asked.

"Did I ask to be chosen?" Holly replied.

"No." Ivy replied sweetly, tracing Holly's chin with her finger.

By now the vines were around Holly's shoulders.

"I hear you aren't on the right side anymore?" Ivy asked.

"Oh, I'm on the right side." Holly said. "And I brought some friends for you to meet."

Daggers and Birdarangs flew towards Ivy. The rest of the Team emerged from their hiding places.

"Talk about hanging with a bad crowd." Ivy said. "And who's your boyfriend?" she asked as Revenge landed next to the now free Holly.

"The name is Red Revenge."

Artemis raised an eyebrow at the lack of a 'I'm not her girlfriend'.

"Nice." Ivy said.

"So where is the rest of your crew?" Holly asked.

"Downtown robbing that bank." Ivy added.

Robin, Aqualad, and Miss Martian started to head to downtown, but vines wrapped around their legs. When they tried to slice the vines off, more grew.

"I was going to join them, but of you want this little reunion so bad..." Ivy said.

Vines roared from behind her and flew at the Team.

Artemis placed a kick into her sister's chest, tossing her across the room and dazing her. Artemis untied her mom and placed her in a wheelchair before picking up her sister who was recovering her senses.

Artemis fastness her sister to the board her mother has been on and walked over to the panel. After careful consideration, Artemis smashed the panel. The board immediately began to lower itself toward the pit.
