Robin came closer to her and Becca turned her head away. He turned it back and forced her to look at him. When he spoke his voice was soft.
“Becca. Listen to me.”
“Stop. You are toying with me. I already told you that I won't be with you unless-”
“Shut up,” Robin muttered gently, placing his lips over hers.
Becca wanted to move away but two things stopped her; her heart and the hand at the back of her neck. Her hands moved from her sides, under the cape, to wrap around Robin's neck. She moved closer, shivering as a hand moved down her back. She felt herself kissing back, despite her new resolve. As much as she wanted to stay there, she'd have to pull back and soon. Her lungs were demanding more air. Robin must have noticed because he pulled away. Becca gasped in air as she looked up at Robin. He looked back down at her, eyes piercing through his mask.
“Batman does accept you.”
“Hmm?”
“Batman thinks the world of you. And so do I. Look me in the eyes and tell me you can live knowing how much I love you.”
“I-I can't.”
“Why not?”
Becca smiled, the tears coming to her eyes.
“Because you're wearing a mask.”
Robin flicked her, removing his mask. Becca studied his eyes before she opened her mouth.
“I-I can't live without you. I tried to once. I almost died with the pain. I live for you.” Becca kissed his nose. “I can't be without you.” Becca kissed his jaw. “ I love you! ”
Becca kissed him quickly before looking into his eyes again. He smiled down at her, pulling her closer if possible.
“More,” he demanded.
Becca opened her mouth to speak.
“No. More of this.”
And Robin grabbed her lips with his own, preventing her from speaking.

"I don't wanna die!" the boy howled, digging his face into Revenge's knee.
"You have no say in the matter."
"I do." Revenge growled.
The assassin turned his head slightly before tossing a knife in Revenge's direction. It caught him in the chink in his armor. Literally. Revenge glared at the blood seeping from the wound. The black clad assassin continued his approach. Revenge punched him in the throat, crushing his windpipe, causing the man to stumble backwards.
"You wanna play with knives?" Revenge yelled. "Two can play at that game!"
For a second, the assassin couldn't breathe. Then, he stood up, rubbing his neck.
"No way." Revenge muttered, stepping back.
"Red Revenge. For interfering with the mission, you too shall feel the talons of the Court of Owls!"
Night of the Owls.
Coming Soon.

Prologue to Chapter Nine- "The Beginning of More Troubles"
"Delta Squad, check in."
"Artemis, in position."
"Beast Boy in position."
"Batgirl, in position."
"Wondergirl, in position."
"Kid Flash wishing he was at the buffet."
"Good. Maintain your positions. The show is about to start. Nightwing out."
"See? This transmission was picked up by security officials at the olympic celebration." G. Gordon Godfrey stepped in front of the image of the celebration in Rio De Janeiro. "Its obvious that this Nightwing was planning something. On top of that, Kid Flash admits that he would rather be eating than watching over some of the richest and most powerful men in the world!" Let's watch what else happened that day. See if you can find a connection with the heroes, and the murder."
