A New Friend
During recess when I was seven years old, I saw a group of bullies picking on a boy and calling him names. This made me angry, and I approached the scene and told them in a forceful voice, "Back off, and leave him alone! What gives you the right to do that to him?" Upon hearing this, the bullies got scared and ran away. I then asked the boy, "Are you all right?" He replied while gazing at me admiringly, "Yes, I am. Thanks for standing up for me. That was very brave of you." I said, "You're welcome. Those bastards needed to be called off. What's your name, by the way?" He replied, "My name's Zack. I'm actually new here to your school." I said, "I see. I'm Rosie. I've been here since Kindergarten. It's lovely to meet you, Zack." He replied, "It's lovely to meet you, too!" We shared a friendly handshake afterwards. "Are you familiar with the Beatles?" I asked him. "I sure am! I'm a fan of them, too!" Responded Zack. I exclaimed, "Wonderful!" This made him smile, and I knew that we would get along really well. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that Zack was part of my class as well. He even sat beside me when we returned inside the classroom, and did the same while riding the school bus back home. We also had another great conversation during the ride. As I was about to get off, Zack said goodbye, told me that we would see each other again the next day, and blew me a kiss. I smiled at him and blew a kiss in return. When I went back inside the house, my mother asked me, "How was your day at school, Rosie?" I replied, "It was really great! I made a new friend, too. His name is Zack, and he's a Beatles fan as well!" My father replied, "That's amazing! I'm glad you made a new friend today." "I'm glad about that, too." Added my mother. Afterwards, we went out again to eat dinner. Then, I went to bed and slept with a smile on my face.

Hey, everyone! As you already know, this year marked two significant milestones. My fifth anniversary here in Fanpop, and of course, my 20th birthday. I have to say that I'm very happy for both of these. Not only am I now in my twenties, but it also signals the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I feel ever grateful for travelling and seeing the world since I was a baby. My childhood and teenage years were very colorful, and I enjoyed them both regardless of the challenges I faced and the bad things that happened. Becoming a Beatles fan has made a very large and lasting impact on me. Plus,...

After the party, the foursome, Alice, Ralph, Nicholas' parents, and the Beatles walked back to Trafalgar Square to watch the Dancing Lights show. Lots of people came there to watch it, too. Among them was the DJ whom the Beatles befriended and helped, and standing next to him was his colleague and his family. He was on crutches and wearing a leg brace. However, this didn't stop him from enjoying Christmas. When the DJ saw the band again, he introduced his colleague to them. He was very happy to meet the Beatles themselves and told the lads, "I'd like to thank you all so much for filling in...

Christmas Day has finally arrived, and the foursome, Alice, Ralph, and Nicholas' parents woke up and turned on the radio to hear the Beatles' Christmas message. The announcer said, "And now, live from the Broadcasting House in London, this is BBC Radio 1's Annual Christmas Message!" With that, all of London and the rest of the United Kingdom stopped to listen...

"Good King Wenslers last looked out, on the feast of Steven. As the slow ray round about, deep and crisp and crispy. Brightly showed the boot last night, on the nasty cruel Henly Hall and David Lloyd, Betty Grable, too!"

"Hello! This...

With Christmas Eve in full swing, everyone returned to Trafalgar Square to see the giant Christmas tree again. Alice became awed by it and said, "Now that is probably the biggest Christmas tree I've ever seen!" Ralph added, "Same for me! It's so gorgeous, too!" Rosie, Nicholas, the Geordie twins, and the Beatles nodded in agreement. After taking more photos, Ringo saw a poster and said, "There's going to be a spectacular dancing lights show here tomorrow at 8:00 pm. Let's watch this after our Christmas message broadcast and party!" Rosie replied, "Oh, sure! I bet it's gonna be a wonderful show." Nicholas added, "It will, indeed, love." The group then ate dinner before going back to the dorm. Upon returning, they all got ready to sleep so they can be fully rested for the 25th.

Gordon and the Double Decker Coaches

Gordon was feeling grumpy. This was making James cross. "Why are you complaining all the time?" Asked James.

"Because I am a splendid express engine. You're just a small engine that gets nothing, but ideas above their station."

"I can't see any." Replied Percy.

"Any what?" Said Gordon.

"Ideas above the station." Said Percy nervously.

"It's just a saying. Little green engines like you are too stupid to understand." Said Gordon.

James laughed, but Gordon was still grumpy, and left the sheds.

"Stupid inspector." Said Gordon to himself, "He got scared...

The Beatles became surprised when the car stopped near a monument facing the river. This was no ordinary monument, though. It was a group of statues sculpted in honor of the band themselves. Nicholas' father said as they walked towards it, "This is our special surprise." John exclaimed, "Why, it's us!" Paul said, "This is so touching, too!" George remarked, "It goes to show that our popularity has endured even to this day." Ringo replied, "Indeed!" Everyone then took photos with the monument, and the Beatles even did some wacky poses.
