The funeral for Cando and Humphrey was tragic.
“We lost two good men in three days. The worst in pack history.”
Everyone, and literally everyone was crying. Everyone loved Humphrey who was a sweet and funny guy of the pack. Cando was a fierce, protective soldier to the combined packs.
Meanwhile, Humphrey crawled from the wreckage of the truck. There was no way he could’ve survived that. Then he started think about how that was where they lived. It’s a good thing Salty still had Johnny.
“Ahh, crap!”
Humphrey saw the huge wreckage, “Holy crap, how did I survive?”
He coughed up blood. He has internal bleeding. He saw how high up the surface was.
“Does God expect me to climb that?”
It started snowing, “So that means yes, alright, let’s try it.”
He jumped onto the rocks but slid down. He kept trying and trying. He eventually gave up.
“Uhh, Lord, I didn’t train to do this. Please send down another wolf!”
There was tumbling through the rocks of the cliff, “Thanks, God.”
The wolf came out of the rocks. It was Cando!
“Cando! It’s a miracle!”
“I was never dead, the idiots took me off life support thinking I was dead and buried me. I had to work my way out of that grave.”
“Well, I need help climbing to the top and since you’re here and an Alpha, I figured you could help.”
“I’d be glad to help.”
Cando did a front flip to about an eighth of the way up, “Jump Humphrey!”
Humphrey jumped and grabbed Cando’s paw. Cando and Humphrey eventually made it up.
“Let’s go surprise them!”
The funeral was still going as Cando and Humphrey stepped in.
“Oh my God!” “It’s Cando and Humphrey!” “They’re alive!” “No way!”
“Remind me never to go to that one idiot hospital again!” Cando said.
“We’re actually going to need a den,” Humphrey said.
“It’s unbelievable,”
Everyone couldn’t stop ranting.
“Hey, Cando, I got a truck on one of those loads that’s good for you.”
“Really? Cool. I didn’t get one yet.”
“Follow me.”
“My career of jacking cars is over.”
“I wouldn’t let you go out there even if you begged me to.”
They got to the truck, “Cando, close your eyes.”
Humphrey climbed into the truck. He got the F-350 Super Duty with a Diesel engine and 350 horse power. He drove it off and parked it in front of Cando and got out.
“Open your eyes!”
Cando saw this massive beast. Knowing that this was all for him, he was totally stunned.
“Look at that! Would you look at that! That’s a massive beast! A pure beauty! It’s amazing! Thank you!”
“No problem.”
Cando hugged Humphrey really hard, “Thanks so much man!”
“No thanks necessary.”
“I know, but I just love this truck!”
“I’ll tell you what, you take that truck, and you give Scar a good ride.”
“Thanks, man!”
Cando got in the truck and set off. Meanwhile, Faolan came over to Kate. Him and Bella weren’t together anymore.
“Hey, Kate. Bella and I aren’t together anymore.”
“Oh, I’m sorry.”
“And, personally, I think you deserve better the than Humphrey. Making you think he died. A real wolf would howl that he’s alive.”
“He didn’t know. I talked to him, he wanted to fool you.”
“He did? I’m not sure if that would happen.”
“Oh it happened.”
“You need someone like me, someone who’s loyal, doesn’t fool you.”
Kate was attracted to Faolan, and thought it was somewhat a good idea.
“You know, Faolan, I do need a guy you. And I won’t just find one as good looking as you.”
“Aww, thanks.”
“Your shiny, gray, sexy fur! Your sexy body.”
“As good as Humphrey?”
“Yes! Sexier!”
“Come over the bed with me! You won’t regret it!”
“Oh, I won’t.”
Kate took Faolan up to bed and they started romancing. Fast, deep, and hard.
“Faolan! You’re better than Humphrey! Oh!”
“Oh! This is great!”
Humphrey got to the hospital with a new car to pick up the Omega he hit.
“Thanks for picking me up, sir.”
“No problem. My name’s Humphrey by the way.”
“Nice to meet you Humphrey.”
“I’m sorry I hit you.”
“No, don’t apologize. I like being in the hospital.”
“Where do you live?”
“321, 32nd street.”
“Ok. Do you have a mate?”
“No.”
“Do you have anyone to contact if you have an emergency.”
“I don’t have any close friends.”
“I live on Sequoia Avenue. It’s about a block away if you need me.”
“Ok, thanks.”
“No problem.”
Humphrey pulled up to the house, “Alright, we’re home. Or at least you are.”
“Thank you.”
“Hey, what’s your name?”
“Cathy.”
“Nice to meet you. I’m Humphrey.”
She leaned onto Hjumphrey and gave him a nice long kiss, “Nice to meet you too.”
She went into her den.
“Man, she’s a good kisser!”
Faolan left as Humphrey got home.
