My master decided to go to the Jefferson Memorial to 'reboot' a machine called 'Project Purity'. And he decided to bring me with. It was a long walk but we finally got there. He had already taken care of all hostiles inside the facility so we just walked in and got to the Rotunda and then I met my master's father, James, he talked to my master for a bit and then my master started toward the exit and I followed. We went to the sub-basement and went down three four flights of stairs and turned left and then left again and pushed a button on the wall and almost immediately a voice came out of a white box on the wall. I walked over to it and examined it... it confused me. Then we headed back to the rotunda and I over-heard a conversation between my master and his father.
"Hawkens... I've heard some rumors. About Megaton, the Atomic bomb giving way(blowing up) and you-you didn't have any-thing to do with it did you?"
"What-No nothin I'm involved in."
"Well I'm finding it hard to believe you, son. I-I can't believe you! I know it's a 'Free-for-all' out there... But I taught you a whole damn lot better than that!!! We'll talk about it later."
"Uh. Oh. You said something about some fuses?"
"Yes yes. Here" Me and 'Hawkens' went back down the stairs in the sub-basement went right, left and through a door. He took out some little boxes and shoved them into the big boxes. When he did a huge spark came of his hand and he jolted.
"AH! God-damn-it" and then the voice from the white box,
"Good job son!"
"Better have been good."
"What was that?!"
"What? I'm sorry?"
"Yeah. Look head up to where the main computer is and turn it on. Then head back." We headed up to where the entrance was and turned left into a large room. he pressed a button and went over to the box and said, jokingly,
" What now boss?"
'Well, start heading back an-...... Oh. Janice says there's a blockage in an intake pipe. Clear it and get back here."
"Okay dad. Shadow stay here I'll be back soon." A few minutes passed and then suddenly ten heavily armored humans stormed in. I cowered in the corner of the room, waiting for my rescue from my master. And just as I finished that thought my master came bursting through a pipe and rained .25 caliber bullets onto the other humans.
"Shadow! ATTACH!!!" And I did as I was told. All life but me and my master where dormant. We ran up a fight of stairs and through a door. Then killed three more people.
"Damn Enclave!!!" my master said as we headed toward the Rotunda door...

The next morning Kate set out of the den to hunt for some caribou and asked humphrey to come along he agreed hapilly because he loves to be around Kate wherever she goes.
They were about an hour into the hunt when a hunter came out of the bushes and Kate hears him she jolts forward right when the hunter fires his rifle the bullet just missed kates leg, and immediately after the shot humphrey jumps up and pushes the gun out of the hunters hand and the hunter (amazed by the situation) takes one look at humphrey and runs back into the bushes.
After this happened they decided to quit the hunt and go back to the den because Kate and humphrey were both in shock From this moment and from that point on Kate always hunts with Humphrey.

Kate ran and hid in a hollow log. ever since Winston Tony and eve died there had been war. Kate plugged her ears shut as a gun shot went off. Kate peered out from her log. mary had been shot. Kate smiled. she hated Mary always trying to mate with Humphrey. Kate snuck out of her log and snuck home. Luis Jessie and the twins masey and felicity all ran towards Kate. " mommy your alive!" cheered the puppys. "where's Humphrey?" asked Kate. " in your room." Kate couldent wait to feel humphreys soft fur and his moist nose. Kate walked into humphrey and hers room. "oh my gosh Kate." said Humphrey. Kate and Humphrey rubbed noses for a while. " are you ok?" asked Humphrey. " no, no I'm fine!" Humphrey looked down at kate's paws. " your not ok your paw is dislocated." gasped Humphrey.
