I soon fell asleep after reaching my den.When I awoke I found Kate staring at me with a concerned look.
"Are you okay?-Did Eve hurt you?-Do you still love me?-"
"Wow-wow-wow! One at a time! And yes to all."
"Oh good. I'm glad that you still love me. Where did Eve hurt you?"
"My eye."
"Oh god. That's going to leave a scar."
"Will I still be able to see with it?"
"Yes." After awhile we went and got us a nice caribou. After we ate I went for a walk and found a good pond to sit next to. After an hour Eve came and sat next to me.
"I'm sorry for my actions earlier. I've just had a lot of stress lately.Will you forgive me?" I sat for a few minutes thinking.
"Eve... I thank you for coming over and asking me... And I do forgive you." And then Eve hugged me and thanked me." Now I'm sure Kate will be looking for me, so I'll see you later." I walked back to the den and found Kate getting ready for something.
"Kate? Where are you going?"
"To the Moonlight Howl! Are you going to be my partner?"
"Well yeah. Of coarse!"
"Good. Now go get ready and I'll meet you there!"
"Okay." I went and got washed up and went to the bottom of 'Howl Rock' and waited for Kate. After two minutes she came walking up the side looking very hot.
"Who are you, Hot-stuff?" she blushed and looked at me,
"I'm your howling partner, you funny wolf you!"
"It would be my honor, but mine should be coming soon, she said she would meet me here." I said and winked at her,"May I lead?"
"Yes you may honey." she said blushing. I lead Kate to the second highest platform on the rock. When I saw Eve and Winston pass, I heard Eve whisper something to him but couldn't make out the words. An hour passed and everyone started to go home accept me.
"David? Come on. What are you doing?"
"Oh sorry. I've just never seen a moon that big."
"Yeah, come on." When we got back to the den Kate asked me if I knew what happened after Kate and Humphrey were done at the howl.
"No I don't." She blushed and I instantly knew her next words."What? Oh no no no...really?" she shook her head. "well might as well get started."
