The tale of Shadow the lone wolf:
a jet black wolf with red eyes named shadow decided to go out for a walk in the middle of the winter he wasnt more then a year old and he saw a grey rabbit
running by so he decided to go after it so he got down close the the ground as quietly as he could and started to move towards the grey rabbit and as soon as
he got close enough he pounced at it and cought it
"wow that was pretty easy" shadow thought as he chuckled alittle and started to eat the rabbit
after just a few minutes he was full and continued on his walk again but he saw something in the distance that he had never seen before
he thought what could that be then suddenly a young snow white female wolf runs by curious as to why she was running he followed her and he finally caught up to her
"what are ya running from miss?" asked shadow as he ran beside her
"oh uhh... hi i was running from a hunter but i guess i lost him" replied the white wolf as she started to slow down "thats the fastest i have ever had to run" said the white wolf with a pant
"oh well i didnt see anything follow you out so you should be fine" said shadow with a slight smile "my name is shadow may i ask what your's is?" asked shadow
"oh uhh.. my name is Neera" replied the white wolf "why did you follow me anyway?" asked neera curiously
"well.." replied shadow not exactly sure why "i dont really know i just saw you running and i thought you were in danger" added shadow as he looked at neera
"oh.."said neera with a slight giggle "well thank your for your concern kind sir" said neera with a smile
"so what are you doing out here?" asked shadow with a slightly confused look "i can tell your not from around here" added shadow
"well i got seperated from my pack a few days ago i went looking for them but i came across a hunters camp and one spotted me so i ran towards the scent of other
wolves and i guess it was your scent i caught " replied neera with a worried look on her face "i hope my pack is safe" added neera nearing tears
"oh im sure there okay they are wolves they are tough" said shadow with confidence as he looked at neera and smiled
"what about you wheres your pack?" asked neera as she tilted her head ever so slightly
"oh uh.." replied shadow with a depressed look on his face
"whats wrong?" asked neera with a worried voice
"well i-" replied shadow but was cut off by the sound of thunder "uh... lets find some shelter its about to rain" said shadow
neera nodded as they searched for some sort of cave they could stay the night in and they come across a small den that has been abandoned for awhile so they walk up to
it and look inside
"hmm.. this should be safe enough" said shadow as he walked in the den "what do you think neera?" asked shadow as neera slowly walked in the cave
"well.. its no home den but atleast its dry" replied neera as she shook the water out of her fur
"wow" shadow whispered as he look's at neera and sees that she has ice blue eyes
"what?" asked neera having heard shadow say wow
"oh sorry" replied shadow with an embarrised look on his face
"your fine" said neera with a small giggle "oh i almost forgot you were about to answer my question about your pack before we heard the thunder" said neera still
wanting to know
"well im kind of a lone wolf you see i never really knew my parent's due to me getting seperated from them as a puppy and i learned how to take care of my self so i
really dont have a pack" replied shadow with a sad look on his face
"oh. im sorry to hear that it must have been hard on you huh?" asked neera feeling bad for shadow
"yes but it made me even stronger" replied shadow with a yawn
"well i guess we should get some sleep huh?" asked neera as she lied down beside shadow
"yah we should" replied shadow as he lied down
both shadow and neera fell asleep after a bit and as they were sleeping the rain slowed way down and the snow soon had a thin layer of ice on the top and the owl's
hoo'd the night way and the two wolves slept peacefuly, the next morning shadow woke up and went to the entrence of the cave and sat down watching the sky as the sun
rose up he noticed that there was a layer of ice on the snow he also noticed fresh paw prints they looked like rabbits so shadow went out to hunt for food while
neera slept and as shadow was heading back with a rabbit in his mouth neera woke up and shadow put the rabbit down infront of her
"wh-what? you cought this for me? asked neera confused
"yep i already ate while i was out hunting so i thought i would save you the trouble so eat up" replied shadow with a happy look on his face
"oh.. thank you your very kind" said neera as she started to eat
"no trouble at all you know your the first white wolf i have seen in this area in over six months" said shadow as he gazed at her pure white fur
"yah i know theres not very many of us left since the hunters found us.." said neera as she finished eating, she looked up at shadow "umm what are you looking at?"
asked neera as she tried to figure it out
"oh i was just admiring your beautiful ice blue eyes" said shadow as he smiled at neera
"oh." replied neera starting to blush "i get them from my mother" said neera
"well there beautiful beyond belief" said shadow with a little smile
"thanks" replied neera blushing more
"well lets go find your pack neera" said shadow with a cheerful voice
"okay" replied neera as she stood up and smiled at shadow
so they set out to find neeras pack to get her home and they followed the river untill they found a slightly unstable log lying over the top of the river they desided
to try to cross it and as they walked over the log it started to move and shadow pushed neera to the other side of the river as the log started to fall shadow hung on
to the log as it went down the river neera tried to help him but couldnt do anything shadow jumped off the log on to a boulder and climbed up just nearly
escaping death
"are you okay shadow?" asked neera worried that he was injured
"im fine it will take alot more then that to take me down" repied shadow as he started breathing heavily
"i see that now" said neera with a little giggle
"okay lets get moving now" said shadow still cheerful as ever
"wow your really cheerful arnt you shadow? asked neera with a giggle
"why wouldnt i be? im helping a beautiful girl get home its enough to keep any male cheerful" shadow repied with a big smile
"oh so it's me thats keeping you cheerful? asked neera as she blushed
shadow looked back at neera with a smile "of coarse! you give me a reason to be cheerful therefore i am" replied shadow with a smile
neera giggled alittle and went up beside shadow "thank you for helping me get home i didnt expact anyone to help accept for my own pack" replied neera
they both walked towords her packs den but a hunter spoted them and aimed at neera and shadow noticed and attacked the hunter fiercely
"neera run!!!" said shadow in a panick as he held off the hunter
"but.. what about you?" asked neera scared for both hers and shadows lives
shadow chuckles alittle while the hunter throws him off "ill be fine this hunter know's who i am just run!!" replied shadow confedently
"o-okay if you say so" said neera looking extremely concerned
shadow lunged at the hunter full force knocking him on the ground and his gun flew out of his hand then shadow went up to the him and stared him
in the eyes while growling once again outsmarting the hunter and grabed the gun and threw it to the side and as the hunter headed for his gun shadow took off, the
hunter looked confused and grabbed his gun and headed back to his camp telling the other hunters how the black wolf struck again meanwhile shadow cought up to neera and
was luaghing at the fear he put in the hunters eyes and as they walked shadow told neera his story with the hunter's
"wait so your the black wolf that they fear so greatly" asked neera as she stopped with a surprised look on her face
shadow luaghed alittle "yep i told you its hard to take me down" replied shadow with a fierce look on his face
"well thank you for saving me" said neera as she nuzzled his neck with grattitude
shadow looked at neera and smiled "now what kind of wolf would i be if i didnt protect my own kind especialy a wolf as beautiful as you?" asked shadow with a smile
neera looked into shadows eyes "thank you again.. wow your eyes are red" said neera with a surprised look
"i know im the only one like this i think its why the hunters fear me so greatly it makes me look fierce" replied shadow with a smile
as neera was gonna say something they had finaly aproached neeras pack den only to find out they were'nt there neera sniffed around to get there scent meanwhile
shadow looked around and found two things
"wow can this be.. it has been so long can it really be what i think it is?" mumbled shadow as he was walking he spotted a small puddle of blood so he sniffed the
blood "no!" said shadow in a worried voice "hunters blood they were here" said shadow now even more worried
"shadow!?" yelled neera trying to find him "where are you shadow!? yelled neera slightly worried
"i-im over here" replied shadow with a slightly sad voice
as neera aproached shadow she saw how worried he looked "whats wrong shadow?" asked neera as she moved closer to him
"w-well i found hunters blood on the ground your pack was attacked by hunters" replied shadow with a very sad voice
"wh-what this cant be" said neera as she started to cry
"dont worry i only found hunters blood as of yet your pack could still be alive we have to continue searching theres still hope" said shadow as he nuzzled neera trying to
comfort her
"your right" replied neera as she dried the tears from her eyes she saw shadow starring at the pack leaders den "whats wrong shadow?" asked neera looking worried
"nothing this place just looks so familier but i just cant put my paw on why" replied shadow as he looked down at neera "i will help you find your pack neera i
prommise" added shadow changing the subject then glancing back up at the pack leaders den
"lets see what.."said neera cut off by a yawn "we can find" said neera as she finished her sentince
"yes but you need sleep lets get you in a den" replied shadow with a smile on his face as he lead her to the pack leaders den "will you be ok up here?" asked shadow
"yah.. wow its so big and cozy in here" replied neera as she lied down on the warm rocks below her
"yah i stay in abandend dens like this alot. the pack leaders den is normaly the warmest and safest thats why i brought you up here and... said shadow getting cut off
by neera licking his cheek
"thank you for going through all the trouble of helping me it means alot to me" said neera as she started to fall asleep
"your very welcome" replied shadow as he watched neera sleep "wow shes so beautiful" thought shadow as he lied down and went to sleep
as they both slept soundly the sky was clear and it was nearing the full moon the wind was quiet and the snow sparkled under the moonlight and the bats were out flying
up high in the skies not one momment of the night was unpeaceful and a few hours later neera woke up and looked at the moon and though it was'nt full she let out a
heart filled howl that woke shadow up but she hadnt noticed she howld accouple more times and just as she was finishing the last howl she heard shadow stand up
"oh.. im sorry i did'nt mean to wake you" said neera with a slight embarrissed look on her face
"its okay why did you stop? you have a beautiful howl" replied shadow with a big smile on his face then he sat beside neera and let out a heart filled howl of his own
"wow your howl is so spiritual" said neera with a slight blush on her face then she started to howl with shadow the heart filled howls were heard throughout the whole
forest even the hunters heard them but were to scared to see what wolves were howling neeras pack leader heard there howls as well and the pack leader howl'd back with
the news that they were all safe
neera gasped at the sound of the pack leaders howl "did you hear that shadow? my pack is okay oh im so happy that there safe" said neera as she instinctivly leaned into
shadows with happiness and a big smile on her face
"i told ya they were fine neera" replied shadow with a very calm voice as he looked into neera's eyes
"im so glad your here helping me i dont know what i would have done if you didnt see me" said neera as she hugged shadow and howl'd loud and with happiness back to her
pack leader "lets go find them please shadow?" asked neera as she looked at him
"of course lets go" replied shadow as he jumped out of the den "i heard there howl's this way" added shadow happily
"race ya" said neera playfully
shadow laughed "your on" replied shadow as he darted off along side neera "hey your pretty fast" added shadow as they were running
"thanks so are you" replied neera with a smile and started to laugh as they ran, but up ahead shadow knew there was a hunters trap set for wolves
"neera stop!! its a trap!!" yelled shadow but it was to late she was cought
"shadow help me!!" yelled neera with a scared voice
"neera im comming hold on!!" replied shadow as he jumped at the trap with full force he bit down fiercly on the trap trying to break it but a hunter
shot shadows arm knocking him off the trap as soon as shadow landed on the ground he yelped in pain then he stood back up and lunged at the hunter more fiercly then
ever before knocking the hunter to the ground and ripping the gun out of his hand with full striength and shadow gave the hunter one last glare before he bit the
his neck as hard as he could and upon release his teeth were dripping with blood then with his anger shadow bit down on the trap with as much force as he could
muster up suddenly the trap broke releasing neera
"neera are you okay?" asked shadow as he helped her out of the rest of the trap
"yes thanks to you" replied neera gratfully "but are you okay shadow?" asked neera as she helped shadow clean the blood off his face
"ill be fine i just cant run as easily at the moment thats all and thank you for helping me clean up but since hes already dead we might as well eat" said shadow as
his stomach started to growl
"okay but to be honest ive never ate human flesh before" said neera with an unsure look on her face
"yah i dont eat human flesh very much either but we are both hungryand we need something dont worry its still meat its just human meat" and with that shadow bit into the hunter
and got a chunk of meat "here try it its good" said shadow with blood all over his snout
neera giggled "i guess i am hungry" replied neera as she took the chunk of human flesh from shadow and ate it "hmm.. it is pretty good but i wont make it a habbit" said
neera as she smiled with blood on her nose
shadow chuckled alittle "here let me get that for you" said shadow as he licked the blood off her nose "there ya go" added shadow as he leaned back he saw neera looking
at him with her eyes half shut and her snout pointing down slightly
she blinked slowly "thamk you shadow" replied neera in a quiet and calm voice she then nuzzled his neck gentaly "your a great wolf and a great guy" said the white wolf as
she stood up and headed to the river for a drink
"where are ya going?" asked shadow begining to limp beside her as she was walking
neera giggled "im going to the river for a drink you gonna join me?" asked neera wagging her tail slowly
"sure" replied shadow wagging his tail "so.. whats your pack like?" asked shadow curiously
"oh.. there great the pack leader is a very kind wolf he takes in any wolf in need especialy puppies" replied neera with a smile
"wow he sounds nice whats his name?" asked shadow even more curiously
"oh his name is niju and yes he his very nice almost as nice you" replied neera with a smile as they aproached the river
they both started getting a drink from the river when they looked at eachother there noses touched and they both smiled
"well i guess this mean's you like me huh shadow?" neera asked with a giggle
pulling away slowly shadow looked at neera "yes i do and ill do anything to get you back to your pack so your happy" replied shadow with a smile on his face and as the
sun went down they knew tonight was the full moon so they sat in the snow together and waited for the full moon to rise a few minutes later the full moon was high
in the sky and they could hear other wolves howling and they both let out the loudest howls they could full of happiness niju the pack leader heard the happiness in
neeras howls as did the rest of the pack and they all howl'd back at neera and neera howl'd louder then she had ever howl'd before. then shadow seen a tear going down the side
of her face
"whats wrong neera" asked shadow as he nuzzled neera lightly
"im just so happy but i miss my pack" replied neera with a sad voice as she lied down
"dont worry you will be back with your pack if its the last thing i do i prommise you that neera" said shadow as he lied his head on neeras neck
"thank you" replied neera as she sniffled and dried the tears from her eyes
"your welcome, now you should get some sleep ill stand guard okay" said shadow still in alittle pain
"are you sure shadow? your still hurt" asked neera as she licked his bullet wound
"yah ill be fine just get some sleep okay" replied shadow as he stood guard

after almost three hours passed shadow smelled a fire being started in the area so he went to check it out and saw some humans but they werent hunters he went in for a
closer look, they didnt look dangerous but shadow still took caution in aproaching the camp, he stepped on a twig under the snow and the humans heard it and they
nearly spotted him but he was to fast and quiet so he snuck in closer so that he could hear what they were saying he finaly snuck in close enough enabling him to hear them
"hey guys look at this we are surrounded by a forest of wolves" said the navigater
"good that means i will be needing my rifle after all huh?" replied the hunter with an evil luagh
"no! we are not here to kill wolves we are here to study them nothing more" said the scientist
"fine fine ill leave the mutts alone but if i see one comming towards us *bang* right between the eyes" replied the hunter luaghing even more evily
"you kill one wolf the rest are sure to attack us if we leave them be we should have no problems so no gun!!" said the scientist with a surious look in his eyes
"if i dont get to kill any wolves then why did you bring me?" asked the hunter
"becuase we need a back up plan if things go wrong and they do attack us" said the navigater
just then the hunter spotted a black shadow like shape with red eyes, shadow moves forword slowly out of the dark shadows growling slightly
"uh hey mister scientist what do we do if theres one in the camp huh?" asked the hunter luaghing at the scientist
"well if that happend we would be in there territory or by there loved ones why" asked the scientist not paying attention
"why dont you have a look for your self and tell me" replied the hunter ready to shoot the wolf
"oh my goodness we must be close to his pack" said the scientis with a little chuckle seeing one of his paws off the ground the scientist looked closer at it
while shadows attention was on the hunter "oh dear you poor thing you have been shot i see but by who i wonder" added the scientist puzzled on how the wolf escaped a
gun shadow attacked the hunter while his attention was on the scientist knocking the hunter into a tree and darted off
"why didnt that wolf kill me when he had the chance?" asked the hunter confused
"you see wolves are'nt cold blooded killers they attack when they feel threatend just like any human" replied the scientist
meanwhile shadow ran back to neera "neera wake we gotta get going" said shadow in a hurry to leave but he felt pain shooting through his arm
"wh-whats going on?" asked neera with a big yawn
"there are humans very close you gotta go" replied shadow as he felt sore from running
"what about you?" asked neera sadly
"i need alittle rest my arm is in pain at the moment ill be fine ill catch up" replied shadow
"no not this time ill fight by your side" said neera fiercly
shadow looked at neera and nodded "are you up for this neera?" asked shadow as he smiled at her
"yes ill fight for the ones i lo... i mean care about!" said neera blushing from almost saying she loved shadow
shadow chuckled at neera a little knowing what she really wanted to say "okay only attack if the hunter has his gun and only attack him okay neera?
"okay im ready lets do this" said neera enthusiastically
they waited a few minutes and shadows arm began to stop hurting "okay they arnt coming and im feeling better lets go" said shadow

"dont worry i only found hunters blood as of yet your pack could still be alive we have to continue searching theres still hope" said shadow as he nuzzled neera trying to
comfort her
"your right" replied neera as she dried the tears from her eyes she saw shadow starring at the pack leaders den "whats wrong shadow?" asked neera looking worried
"nothing this place just looks so familier but i just cant put my paw on why" replied shadow as he looked down at neera "i will help you find your pack neera i
prommise" added shadow changing the subject then glancing back up at the pack leaders den
"lets see what.."said neera cut off by a yawn "we can find" said neera as she finished her sentince
"yes but you need sleep lets get you in a den" replied shadow with a smile on his face as he lead her to the pack leaders den "will you be ok up here?" asked shadow
"yah.. wow its so big and cozy in here" replied neera as she lied down on the warm rocks below her
"yah i stay in abandend dens like this alot. the pack leaders den is normaly the warmest and safest thats why i brought you up here and... said shadow getting cut off
by neera licking his cheek
"thank you for going through all the trouble of helping me it means alot to me" said neera as she started to fall asleep
"your very welcome" replied shadow as he watched neera sleep "wow shes so beautiful" thought shadow as he lied down and went to sleep
as they both slept soundly the sky was clear and it was nearing the full moon the wind was quiet and the snow sparkled under the moonlight and the bats were out flying
up high in the skies not one momment of the night was unpeaceful and a few hours later neera woke up and looked at the moon and though it was'nt full she let out a
heart filled howl that woke shadow up but she hadnt noticed she howld accouple more times and just as she was finishing the last howl she heard shadow stand up
"oh.. im sorry i did'nt mean to wake you" said neera with a slight embarrissed look on her face
"its okay why did you stop? you have a beautiful howl" replied shadow with a big smile on his face then he sat beside neera and let out a heart filled howl of his own
"wow your howl is so spiritual" said neera with a slight blush on her face then she started to howl with shadow the heart filled howls were heard throughout the whole
forest even the hunters heard them but were to scared to see what wolves were howling neeras pack leader heard there howls as well and the pack leader howl'd back with
the news that they were all safe
neera gasped at the sound of the pack leaders howl "did you hear that shadow? my pack is okay oh im so happy that there safe" said neera as she instinctivly leaned into
shadows with happiness and a big smile on her face
"i told ya they were fine neera" replied shadow with a very calm voice as he looked into neera's eyes
"im so glad your here helping me i dont know what i would have done if you didnt see me" said neera as she hugged shadow and howl'd loud and with happiness back to her
pack leader "lets go find them please shadow?" asked neera as she looked at him
"of course lets go" replied shadow as he jumped out of the den "i heard there howl's this way" added shadow happily
"race ya" said neera playfully
shadow laughed "your on" replied shadow as he darted off along side neera "hey your pretty fast" added shadow as they were running
"thanks so are you" replied neera with a smile and started to laugh as they ran, but up ahead shadow knew there was a hunters trap set for wolves
"neera stop!! its a trap!!" yelled shadow but it was to late she was cought
"shadow help me!!" yelled neera with a scared voice
"neera im comming hold on!!" replied shadow as he jumped at the trap with full force he bit down fiercly on the trap trying to break it but a hunter
shot shadows arm knocking him off the trap as soon as shadow landed on the ground he yelped in pain then he stood back up and lunged at the hunter more fiercly then
ever before knocking the hunter to the ground and ripping the gun out of his hand with full striength and shadow gave the hunter one last glare before he bit the
his neck as hard as he could and upon release his teeth were dripping with blood then with his anger shadow bit down on the trap with as much force as he could
muster up suddenly the trap broke releasing neera
"neera are you okay?" asked shadow as he helped her out of the rest of the trap
"yes thanks to you" replied neera gratfully "but are you okay shadow?" asked neera as she helped shadow clean the blood off his face
"ill be fine i just cant run as easily at the moment thats all and thank you for helping me clean up but since hes already dead we might as well eat" said shadow as
his stomach started to growl
"okay but to be honest ive never ate human flesh before" said neera with an unsure look on her face
"yah i dont eat human flesh very much either but we are both hungryand we need something dont worry its still meat its just human meat" and with that shadow bit into the hunter
and got a chunk of meat "here try it its good" said shadow with blood all over his snout
neera giggled "i guess i am hungry" replied neera as she took the chunk of human flesh from shadow and ate it "hmm.. it is pretty good but i wont make it a habbit" said
neera as she smiled with blood on her nose
shadow chuckled alittle "here let me get that for you" said shadow as he licked the blood off her nose "there ya go" added shadow as he leaned back he saw neera looking
at him with her eyes half shut and her snout pointing down slightly
she blinked slowly "thamk you shadow" replied neera in a quiet and calm voice she then nuzzled his neck gentaly "your a great wolf and a great guy" said the white wolf as
she stood up and headed to the river for a drink
"where are ya going?" asked shadow begining to limp beside her as she was walking
neera giggled "im going to the river for a drink you gonna join me?" asked neera wagging her tail slowly
"sure" replied shadow wagging his tail "so.. whats your pack like?" asked shadow curiously
"oh.. there great the pack leader is a very kind wolf he takes in any wolf in need especialy puppies" replied neera with a smile
"wow he sounds nice whats his name?" asked shadow even more curiously
"oh his name is niju and yes he his very nice almost as nice you" replied neera with a smile as they aproached the river
they both started getting a drink from the river when they looked at eachother there noses touched and they both smiled
"well i guess this mean's you like me huh shadow?" neera asked with a giggle
pulling away slowly shadow looked at neera "yes i do and ill do anything to get you back to your pack so your happy" replied shadow with a smile on his face and as the
sun went down they knew tonight was the full moon so they sat in the snow together and waited for the full moon to rise a few minutes later the full moon was high
in the sky and they could hear other wolves howling and they both let out the loudest howls they could full of happiness niju the pack leader heard the happiness in
neeras howls as did the rest of the pack and they all howl'd back at neera and neera howl'd louder then she had ever howl'd before. then shadow seen a tear going down the side
of her face
"whats wrong neera" asked shadow as he nuzzled neera lightly
"im just so happy but i miss my pack" replied neera with a sad voice as she lied down
"dont worry you will be back with your pack if its the last thing i do i prommise you that neera" said shadow as he lied his head on neeras neck
"thank you" replied neera as she sniffled and dried the tears from her eyes
"your welcome, now you should get some sleep ill stand guard okay" said shadow still in alittle pain
"are you sure shadow? your still hurt" asked neera as she licked his bullet wound
"yah ill be fine just get some sleep okay" replied shadow as he stood guard
"okay" said neera as she licked shadow on the cheek
after almost three hours passed shadow smelled a fire being started in the area so he went to check it out and saw some humans but they werent hunters he went in for a
closer look, they didnt look dangerous but shadow still took caution in aproaching the camp, he stepped on a twig under the snow and the humans heard it and they
nearly spotted him but he was to fast and quiet so he snuck in closer so that he could hear what they were saying he finaly snuck in close enough enabling him to hear them
"hey guys look at this we are surrounded by a forest of wolves" said the navigater
"good that means i will be needing my rifle after all huh?" replied the hunter with an evil luagh
"no! we are not here to kill wolves we are here to study them nothing more" said the scientist
"fine fine ill leave the mutts alone but if i see one comming towards us *bang* right between the eyes" replied the hunter luaghing even more evily
"you kill one wolf the rest are sure to attack us if we leave them be we should have no problems so no gun!!" said the scientist with a surious look in his eyes
"if i dont get to kill any wolves then why did you bring me?" asked the hunter
"becuase we need a back up plan if things go wrong and they do attack us" said the navigater
just then the hunter spotted a black shadow like shape with red eyes, shadow moves forword slowly out of the dark shadows growling slightly
"uh hey mister scientist what do we do if theres one in the camp huh?" asked the hunter luaghing at the scientist
"well if that happend we would be in there territory or by there loved ones why" asked the scientist not paying attention
"why dont you have a look for your self and tell me" replied the hunter ready to shoot the wolf
"oh my goodness we must be close to his pack" said the scientis with a little chuckle seeing one of his paws off the ground the scientist looked closer at it
while shadows attention was on the hunter "oh dear you poor thing you have been shot i see but by who i wonder" added the scientist puzzled on how the wolf escaped a
gun shadow attacked the hunter while his attention was on the scientist knocking the hunter into a tree and darted off
"why didnt that wolf kill me when he had the chance?" asked the hunter confused
"you see wolves are'nt cold blooded killers they attack when they feel threatend just like any human" replied the scientist
meanwhile shadow ran back to neera "neera wake we gotta get going" said shadow in a hurry to leave but he felt pain shooting through his arm
"wh-whats going on?" asked neera with a big yawn
"there are humans very close you gotta go" replied shadow as he felt sore from running
"what about you?" asked neera sadly
"i need alittle rest my arm is in pain at the moment ill be fine ill catch up" replied shadow
"no not this time ill fight by your side" said neera fiercly
shadow looked at neera and nodded "are you up for this neera?" asked shadow as he smiled at her
"yes ill fight for the ones i lo... i mean care about!" said neera blushing from almost saying she loved shadow
shadow chuckled at neera a little knowing what she really wanted to say "okay only attack if the hunter has his gun and only attack him okay neera?
"okay im ready lets do this" said neera enthusiastically
they waited a few minutes and shadows arm began to stop hurting "okay they arnt coming and im feeling better lets go" said shadow
after walking for a couple hours they found neeras pack and neera ran towards them "niju we found you" said neera happily
