Alright guys, before I start I think I should point out a few things. One: I will not continue The Humphrey in Me because I can't seem to get the flow of ideas back in my head I guess is the simplest was to put it. Two: This is going to be a decently long thing and I would like to post more then just one on a daily basis, so that I can get back to doing The Humphrey in Me. Thanks. (Humphrey enters the den followed by Kate and Jon)

Humphrey: Lilly! Have you seen Hunter?

Lilly: Yeah, he just left. He was acting weird.. .Said he was going hunting and would be back tonight. Why what's the rush?

Kate: Hunter has decided to leave Jasper.

Lilly: What! WHY!?

Kate: He said he felt left out.

Lilly: (Starts to cry) But....but.....

Kate: I'll stay here and help her, you two go hunt for him. (Walks over to comfort Lilly)

Humphrey: Right..Come on.

(Both run out of the den.)

Jon: Where do you think he could be?

Humphrey: I don't know. My guess is he would go to Moonlight Rock to howl before he left even though he's human.

Jon: What makes you say that?

Humphrey: It's what I'd do.

(They run for a little ways before Jon interrupts the silence)

Jon: Wow I'm bored....Don't you omegas know how to have fun or something?

Humphrey: Yeah but you're mate beat that out of me a long time ago.

Jon:(Chuckles) That's my girl.

Humphrey: Stop! You hear that?!

Jon: Hear what?

Humphrey: That singing.

(Standing on the Moonlight Howl rock sits Hunter singing at the moon.)

Hunter:
A long December and it's easy to believe
that this year will be better then the last.
I can't remember the last thing that you said as you were leaving
when the days go by so fast...

And it's one more day up in Jasper..
And it is one more night in the pack's valley..
If you think that I should be forgiven......

The smell of the dens in winter.
And the feeling that it is a lot of oysters, but no pearls.
All at once I looked across a crowded room
to see how light attaches to a girl.

And it's one more day up in Jasper..
And it's one more night in Idaho...

Walked up to the Love Night Manor sometime after 2 A.M
And talked a little while about the year.
I guess the winter makes you laugh a little slower.
Makes you talk a little lower about the things your could not show her.

And it's been a long december.
And there's reason to believe that this year will be better then the last.

To hold on to these moments as they pass.

And it's one more day up in Jasper.
And it's one night in Idaho..
It's been so long since I've seen the ocean.
I guess I should.

(Hunter stops singing and howls.)

Humphrey:(walks up behind him and sits down) Wow man, that's deep.

Hunter:(turns very fast) Oh...It's only you(sits down) What do you want?

Humphrey: Excuse my french but are you fucking crazy!

Hunter: Not the last time I checked, but of course I haven't been around any humans for three years.

Jon: You do realize that you've made the pack extremly sad.

Hunter: Oh I didn't realize they cared that much, but still, I'm sorry. I have to do this.

Jon: WHAT YOUR GOING TO DO IS

Humphrey:(puts hand in front of jon shutting him up)

Jon: Wha-what are you doing?

Humphrey: Hunter you've been like a brother to me. Do you really believe that you need to do this?

Hunter: Yes I do.

Humphrey: Okay...Goodbye brother(hugs hunter and turns around) Come on Jon.

Jon: But Humphrey.

Humphrey: JON.

Jon: Okay okay. Don't get your tail in a wad.

Hunter: (howls one last time and leaves the rock.)

Back at the den:

Kate: Lilly, come on. It'll be okay.

Lilly: He was like a brother to me.

Kate: I know I know. He was for me too. (Turns around to see Humphrey and Jon returning into the den.)

Humphrey: (Looks at Kate then looks down and lets a tear go down his face)

Kate: Where's Hunter.

Humphrey: Leaving, probably on a train heading for Idaho by now.

Jon: I got her Kate.(walks over to lilly) Hey hey come on...It's okay.

(Lilly cries into Jon's chest and kate turns her attention to Humphrey.)

Kate: Why did he leave Humphrey?

Humphrey: Think about it Kate. He's a Human. And we're wolves.

Kate: So?

Humphrey: Hes an outsider. I understand why he didn't feel welcome, and I think I have figured out why he left.

Kate: Why is that?

Humphrey: Well he can't have a mate right, and your with Jon.

Kate: Where are you going with this?

Humphrey: He hasn't ever gone after you or hit on you like I have right?

Kate: yeahhh.

Humphrey: He's always stayed back because he knew you were with Jon.

Kate: That means he(gasps and covers her mouth)

Humphrey: Yes, he loves you Kate.

Kate: But but but...I..

Humphrey:It all makes sense now.

Lilly: That's why he has never done anything like what Humphrey did, because he knew it would be no use.

Kate: I never knew.(Walks outside and looks to the mountains) Oh, why didn't you tell me? Why?
