Chapter 18: Love at First Sight
Cando and Hutch led Humphrey through the territory as they were on their way to see the pack leader, Winston. Humphrey noticed many of the wolves stop and look at him, not so much as an outsider who was intruding on their turf, but as a pup who needed help finding his place in the world, even though they knew nothing about him. He could tell that they were a very accepting pack, and that was an encouraging thought.
From down in the valley, Humphrey could already see the large den where they were headed. It was a stone cave with a large tree that stood on top of the den with its long roots wrapping around and growing underneath the stone slab that hung over the entrance to the den.
Cando and Hutch led Humphrey up out of the valley and to the den. They reached the entrance where a grey, middle-aged wolf met them.
“Cando, Hutch,” the wolf said. “Welcome back.” He then looked down at Humphrey. “Who’s this?”
“We found him wandering in the forest by himself,” Hutch said. “His name is Humphrey.”
“Well, Humphrey,” Winston said. “Why don’t you come inside? I’ll bet you’re cold, and hungry too?”
“Yes,” Humphrey said.
“Alright then,” Winston replied. “I’ll have these two get you some caribou and then we can talk. I’ll bet you’ve got quite the story to tell.”
Humphrey nodded as he followed Winston inside and Cando and Hutch left to get him some fresh caribou. The inside of the den was warmer than Humphrey had expected. Granted, it wasn’t a very large den, but it was still cozy. He noticed another wolf enter behind them. She was around Winston’s age, but with tan fur and eyes.
“Winston,” she said. “Who is this?”
“Eve, this is Humphrey,” Winston replied. “Cando and Hutch found him while they were out on patrol.”
Suddenly, Humphrey heard a small voice coming from the back of the den.
“Dad?” the voice said.
Humphrey turned around and looked into the darkness of the den behind him through Winston’s legs, but he couldn’t see much.
“What’s going-“ the voice said but stopped as the owner peeked out from behind Winston’s legs. Humphrey leaned his head to the side to look at the pup and what he saw was incredible. She was the most beautiful wolf he had ever seen.
The pup that peeked out at Humphrey was around his age, maybe two years older. She had tan fur and beautiful golden eyes. For Humphrey, it was love at first sight. The two stepped out and approached each other slowly, not saying a word. They just stared.
“Kate,” Winston said. “This is Humphrey. Humphrey, this is my daughter, Kate.”
“Hi,” Humphrey said, a bit dreamily.
“Hi,” Kate said back.
“Your mother and I have a lot to talk about,” Winston said. “Why don’t you go back inside. You and Humphrey can get to know each other once we’re done.”
Kate nodded to her father before turning and walking back into the den, but not before giving Humphrey one last look. Humphrey’s gaze followed her as Winston tried to get his attention.
“Humphrey,” he said. No response. “Humphrey.” Again, nothing. “Humphrey!”
Humphrey snapped himself out of his trance and turned to look back at Winston and Eve as Cando and Hutch arrived with the caribou.
“Now, Humphrey,” Winston said, tossing a piece of caribou in Humphrey’s direction. “Tell us what happened to you. And don’t leave out a thing.”
Humphrey laid down on the floor of the den, as did Winston and Eve. As he ate and told them about his traumatizing puphood, Kate quietly, but intently listened to everything he was saying. After Humphrey had finished telling his story, Winston spoke up.
“I’m terribly sorry, Humphrey,” he said. “No pup should have to go through what you’ve had to endure these past couple of years. But you’re safe here now.”
“But where is he going to stay?” Eve asked. “We’re much too busy right now to adopt a pup.”
“He can stay with us for the night,” Winston said. “I’ll call for a pack meeting in the morning and we can best decide what to do with him then.”
And that’s what they did. That night, Humphrey slept, fairly close to Kate, with Winston and Eve in their den, safe once again from the Mysterious Man who had set up camp just outside the pack borders. He had a clear view of the den from his campsite and kept watch on it for most of the night.
Humphrey woke the next morning to Winston gently nudging him with his nose.
“Humphrey,” he said. “Humphrey, it’s time for you to get up. We have to go to the meeting.”
Humphrey sighed as he stood up and stretched. He didn’t want to get up, especially not after the hard day he had yesterday. All he wanted to do was rest. The den was surprisingly comfortable, and Humphrey just wanted to lay down and relax. But he knew this was a very important meeting. One that would decide his fate in this new home of his.
Winston led him down into the valley with Kate and Eve following close behind. Many wolves from the pack had already gathered as they had seen Humphrey as he passed by the morning before. Many other wolves were still arriving as Winston took Humphrey up front and stood on a rock to address the crowd.
“Everyone,” he announced. “Perhaps some of you know why I have called you here for this meeting. For those who don’t, I would like you to meet Humphrey.”
Humphrey shyly joined Winston on the rock.
“He was brought into our pack early yesterday morning,” Winston continued. “He comes from a pack far away and has led a harsh life alone in the woods.”
He turned to Humphrey.
“Go on,” he said. “Tell them your story.”
Humphrey looked out at the silent crowd before him and took a deep breath before telling them of all that had happened to him in the wilderness. The pack listened intently, not making a single sound until he had finished. After Humphrey had finished his story, the crowd remained silent for a moment before Winston spoke up.
“This young pup is lost and in desperate need of a new home,” he said. “I would take him in if I could, but as pack leader, I am far too busy to do so. And that is why I have called you all together. Humphrey needs someone to take care of him and since I am unable to do it, he needs one of you.”
For a moment, there was silence as the pack considered what Winston had said and Humphrey was beginning to think that he wasn’t wanted here either when suddenly a wolf spoke up.
“We’ll take him,” a voice said from the back of the crowd.
Two wolves made their way to the front. They were both fairly young, about as old as Arnold was.
“Julie, Eric,” Winston said. “You’re willing to adopt Humphrey?”
“Yes,” Eric said. “We’ve always wanted pups and besides, he needs us.”
“That he does,” Winston agreed. He then turned to Humphrey. “Well?” he asked. “What do you think?”
Humphrey looked at Julie and Eric for a moment. They looked kind and caring, and their grey coats reminded him of his parents. He looked back at Winston and nodded silently.
“Very well,” Winston announced. “Humphrey, you are now officially a wolf of the Western Pack.”
Hey., I'm back with more reviews..
However, only thing this story proves, it's that NO ONE is safe from being made into clopping.
The story starts off innocent enough.
It's about those lovely veggie wolves, starting at the scene where Shaky recommended them in order to get Humphrey to forget about Kate, but Humphrey showed zero interest in the two girls.,
Anyway..
Appearently after their non speaking, tiny role, they go into the forest to get more Barries, and I think berrie juice sprays on Janice.,
And of coarse.
Sense this is the bizarre world of fanfiction, this soon leads to two STRAIGHT girls having sex with each other (girls are so fuckin lucky,. The only way guys can make 'expirements' hot, is in hell bellow).
Anyway.
Obviously I wouldn't exactly recommend this story to most people.,
I mean.
If I wanted to see girl on girl porn, I would go to a porn site (not that I do).
Anyway.
Peace out everybody!

Hiya friends... How are you guys doing ? This article... It's just something I need to share... I was never this dramatic and I don't want to sound dramatic but...well my life is kinda messed up right now and... I just wanted to remember the times I watched alpha and omega and visited this club... they were good times for me.
I miss those days even if they were somehow bad for me, I used to worry too much about things in this group but... those concerns weren't near as big as the things I am going through right now...
Well...that's all...I just wanted to get this off my chest... I miss the old days and I miss you guys...
