Kenny walks more closer of the darkness and sits down getting ready to tell a story of his to lara.

Kenny:Ok lara calm down and sit down don't get too riled up before l tell ya a story you still need some rest. He said to lara putting his left paw on top of lara's head rubbing it and had his left paw off lara' head.

Lara smiles at her grandpa and he smiles too.

Lara:Alright grandpa. She replied calming the playful side of hers down a bit.

Kenny:Ready to hear the tale? He asked lara starts questioning him what was the story.

Lara:Yeah but what was the story about? She answered and asking kenny.

Kenny:Well your parents will kill me if they found out l told you about this one the tale of the Wolfslayer. He replied lara has a bit shocking look on her's face.

Kenny:This truly had happened to me and your father when he was your age. He said began telling his tale about how he survived attack from the Wolfslayer.

While kenny tells lara a flashback of his plays 20 years ago into the summer of 1999 kenny was in his's thirties and have a happy family till wolf assassin named the wolfslayer took that away from him and harry on that fateful day of a sunset he will never forget two young pups were playing outside of they's den a darker tan fur mother violet is sitting next to her husband while both was watching their's pups playing outside of the leader's den kenny was the pack's leader then and cole in his's twenties reports to his leaders about a hunter was spotted in their's territory.

Cole:Sir. He said while running to kenny and violet.

Kenny:What's is it cole? He replied seeing his most trusted lieutenant slowly now walk to him.

Cole:There a human in our territory set up his camp in the woods and l think he wearing some wolf's fur on his upper torso. He said to kenny having a worrying look on his face.

Violet:Oh dear god honey you don't think it's him? She ask kenny about this unusual hunter with a serious worry look on her face.

Kenny:l think it was man who we been hearing about recently get the pups in the den violet. He answered to violet while she ran to get harry but nala wasn't there.

Violet:Harry where is your sister? She said to harry in a worry tone.

Harry:Nala just ran off that way. He replied turning around to show his mother the way nala wandered off to.

While harry and cole see nala gone violet pick harry up then take him to the den cole follow kenny and violet in the den.

Kenny:So do you know where she is? He asked his wife with a scared and worried look on his knew something bad could happen to his daughter.

Harry:What's going on? He asked in a nervous tone.

Violet:Some pack business son. She answered to her son.

Kenny:Cole put our alphas on alert. He order his lieutenant to have the alphas on patrol.

Violet:And send someone to watch harry. She said to cole.

Cole:On it sir and ma. He said obeying his leaders he walks out of the den to get the others.

Kenny:l go deal with him sweetheart. He told violet he planing on finding the hunter and stop him going any further in their's territory.

Violet:And l will find nala and bring her here safe. She replied to kenny she going to find they's daughter.

Then one of Kenny's alphas this one is a lighter grey fur female wolf shows walking into the den.

Shiva:Sir ma cole told me to keep a eye on harry while you handle what's going on outside. She said to her's pack leaders.

Kenny:Good now harry stay in the den with Shiva till this is under control. He said to his son then both kenny and violet ran out of the den.

Kenny runs toward the woods with fire in the distance where cole informed him about this man had set camp there and violet ran to the hunting grounds where nala wandered off to and both had stop for a quick when a scream was heared.

Kenny:Nala! He yells in a worry and afraid tone

Violet:Mama's coming baby! She yells with a worry tone.

Kenny and violet ran to the same direction where they heard the scream and see the fire.

Nala:Ah help mommy daddy! She screams in fear after her's head was quickly pick up by the wolfslayer seeing him now close up wearing a black wolf fur pelt over his brown shirt a white wolf fur on the top of his head as a hood a wolf fur pelt around his hips wears a darker white and grey and also wearing black gloves.

Kenny:Get the hell away from our daughter! He yells at the human to left nala go while both parents changing at the wolfslayer.

Wolfslayer:l deal with ya after small pup. He said in a calming tone putting the pup down aside him then nala made a run for the nearest tree that near her hide behind it hoping he don't get her and the Wolfslayer make a quick ran inside his tent to grab his one of his knifes the one in his left hand is a silver wolf fang custom he had made since he was eighteen years old then kenny ran in the tent only looking at each other kenny is angry and growling at the wolfslayer the man who put his hands on his little girl while wolfslayer had put his right fist and one of his weapons up in defense keeping calm and having discipline both wolf and man ready to fight kenny makes the first move by going for one of wolfslayer's legs but he dodged kenny's attempt bite and grabbed him by his neck punch him out of the tent hitting his face on a log hurts him a bit getting back up but the Wolfslayer tickles him down punching him nearly beating him to death and the love of his life and his oldest pup witness the wolfslayer putting a knife to kenny's throat ready to end his life seeing his family standing in horror violet try to pounce on the Wolfslayer but he pick up kenny up and throw him at violet both howls in pain.

Violet:Are you alright? She said getting up and checking her's husband.

Kenny:Yeah l oh god he going to kill nala. He said with a worry tone.

Wolfslayer:Never forget this day happens to you wolf. He said looking at the pup warning him don't stand in his way aiming his knife at nala with his finger tips on the edge of the blade and throwing it at nala.

Kenny:No! He said loudly trying to run in front of his daughter before it got her but wolfslayer grab one of his guns shooting kenny in the stomach only injured him.

Nala:dad. She trying to said when her head starting bleeding fell to the ground now a lifeless body lying.

Violet:No no no! She yells in agony of the lost of their's pup.

Kenny:You bastard l will tear you apart. He yells at the wolfslayer in so much anger and pain but can't get up cause of the bullet wound violet stood beside him not leaving his side he would do the same if it was her down.

Violet:I not going to leave you. She said protecting kenny.

Kenny:Damn it violet l begging you don't do this he will kill you leave and get the pack here. He said while trying to get his wife to listen but she was so navie and stubborn.

Violet:You will not touch my family. She said in anger while growling at the wolfslayer but didn't understand wovles.

Wolfslayer shot her in the heart kenny cries in anger and agony slowly climbing with his two front paws just see the human standing in front of him did nothing but just looking at him.

Wolfslayer:They're resting in peace now. He said in a calm tone while had his two fingers to close violet and nala's eyes then pack up all of his weapons and camping gear then get a water bottle out to put out the fire.

Kenny slowly trys to get but didn't succeed when he look up the human with wolf fur is gone.

Cole and the other three wovles got to wolfslayer's camp but they were too late seeing their's leader badly wounded both of his family members are lying on the ground lifeless.

Cole:Sir what happened to you? He said with out of concern tone for his mentor.

Kenny:I should been fast enough to save them l had failed my wife and my daughter this is all my fault. He said in a sadness tone and cursed himself out for falling to be a better husband and father while hugging his wife and daughter having tears in his eyes.

Cole:Your son still in the den kenny he needs you to be there for him. He said to his mentor while comforting him for his loss.

Kenny slams his left paw down on the ground in anger while in a emotional state all of them were howling for the pack to come.

Kenny's flashback ended back inside the cave lara had a shocked look on her's face and gasps that she was speechless now know why her's parents keep that story a secret.

Kenny:Now you know why we kept this as a story? He calmly said to lara shaking her head up understanding him.

Lara:Yeah this really did scared me but thanks for the story grandpa. She thanks her's grandfather for the story and lying down but kenny lie down with her.

Kenny:If you having anything nightmares l here. He said while keeping on guard making sure lara safe.

Lara:Love you good night grandpa. She said gentle nudging him while slowly closing her eyes and fall asleep.

Kenny:Love you and good night to you too. He said still keeping watch for anything.
