Seth stated. He gestured for Humphrey and Kate to follow. "No! I... I have to get back to my pack! THey'll be worried!" Kate exclaimed. "Fine. We'll go to your pack first." "We? What makes you think you're coming? I appreciate that you helped me and Humphrey but I don't think you need to come with us!" Kate snapped. Seth rolled his eyes. "Luckily... I've been a lady's man for my entire life so this type of stupid behavior doesn't throw me... And fine. Let's see how long you last without me." Seth finished. With that, he just disappeared. His personal cloaking field. His friend Lyra made him that in exchange for a new weapon. Then, at that moment... 3 guards approached Kate and Humphrey. "Humphrey run! I can hold them off!" Kate leapt at one of them and pushed him down. SHe then did the same to another one. But they weren't so passive. They shot at Kate. It hit her leg and blood struck across the forest sky like lightning. "Ahhh!" SHe screamed. A tear dropped from her eye. "Humphrey!" She called. No answer. Then, a small canister fell from the sky. It exploded, and smoke erupted. Kate couldn't see her attackers anymore. THen, a shrill shrieking noise came. It was soft... then louder... Then so loud it ended all together ended by a sound of metal clanging, blood spraying on Kate's face and a scream from one of the guards. Then a sound of plasma fire erupted and ripped apart the other. The smoke disappeared and standing over Kate was Seth holding his rifle. Then she turned. Standing over a mutilated and bloody body was a giant mechanical dragon and a pretty female human straddling it... Almost as if she was riding it... Lyra. She hopped off. "Thanks." Seth said. He held out his hand and Lyra responded by doing their traditional greeting. They pounded fists and brought their hands up for a high five, but purposely missed and went around the other way and high fived below their waists. Lyra had blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. Her thick slacks went down to her heels with raggedy cuts and patches on them. "Anytime bro." She said, giving Seth a light punch on thes shoulder. "And thanks to you too Vendrix!" Seth said laughing. He walked over to the dragon and patted it's head. "Wow. You were so... Docile when Lyra first built you..." "Yeah well with the increasing rate of PSG soldiers, I had to make some modifications.... I don't regret them though..." Lyra said, waking over to one of the guard's bodies and kicked it.

"Thanks..." Kate thanked, as Seth and Lyra helped her to her feet. She got up but as soon as Seth and Lyra released their grip on Kate, she stumbled and yelped in pain. Her leg. "Oh crap..." Lyra cursed, lookign at Kate's leg... "How come you didn't help this poor wolf before?" Lyra questioned. "Well I was going to but she told me not to." "Told you not to... What the hell are you talking about...?" "I can talk." Kate interrupted. Lyra shook her head. "Once you've seen a taking wolf, you've seen everything..." She scooped up Kate. "Here. Help me." Seth waked over and helped Lyra support Kate. "Lets take her to your place. Vendrix, go back home." Vendrix screeched once more before taking off.

Seth led the way to his hideout. He recognised the certain tree. "Ok... How will we do this..." Seth said thoughtfully. "er... Here." Lyra started, handing Kate to Seth. Kate watched mesmerized. Lyra grabbed a branch and swung up. She flipped and jumped grabbing another branch every few seconds. Lyra reached the top. "Alright! Seth! Use your kinesis to bring Kate up here." Seth did so. Kate's heartbeat increased upon being lifted by kinetic powers. Lyra grabbed him. Then she hopped down the trunk. Seth did the same...

"Hey dad!" Seth said walking in. Then the door shut closed on him. "AH!" Seth exclaimed. "PLEASE USE VOICE ACTIVATION CODE" A robotic voice went. "Seth Clarke" Seth replied. "ACCESS GRANTED" THe voice wemt again. Seth walked in. Then a giant laser came out and pointed itself at Lyra. "AH!" She yelped. "And guest..." Seth rolled his eyes. Then the laser disappeared into the ceiling. Lyra and Kate waked to Seth's dad's office. "Did you find anything?" He asked. "Nothing of interest... Just a couple of things that I could use... Although I may need some help on one of them..." Seth replied. "What might that be?" His dad asked, not turning away from his project. "A PSG security suit." His dad immediately turned around. "Really!?" His dad exclaimed. Seth reached into his satchel and pulled out the schematic. His dad took it. He looked at it for a while. "Great job Seth!" He exclaimed. "I will decipher the instructions... For now, go do what ever you want..." Seth shrugged. "Ok!" He walked off to his bedroom.
