It's been a while since I last wrote an article here so now I decided to do a new one about my favorite songs from animated movies that are sung by a heroine, hope you'll like this new article and don't forget to leave a comment. The only requirement I had was that the heroine has to sing at least half of the song
10. Reflection
This song is so relatable which is the main reason to why I love this song very much, but also because it's a beautiful song and Lea Salonga does a wonderful job, she has a great voice even though she's pretty low on my favorite DP Singer List (not so low on my favorite animated singers list though).
9. Whistle While You Work
This song is so catchy and the scene itself is really good, it does come right after my favorite scene in the movie, but I love the scene anyway. I always laugh during this song because there are so many funny moments during this song, the funniest one is when the squirrels are sweeping the dust into a rathole and the rat comes and is very angry.
8. Once Upon A Dream
This song is a classic, it's romantic, but without being too boring or slow which most romantic songs from before 2000 has a tendecy of being, I love this scene very much and the dance at the end is wonderful.
7. A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes
I've always loved this song very much, it's such a sweet song and the lyrics are wonderful. It also helps that Cinderella has my favorite Disney Voice, it's such a sweet voice
6. Part Of Your World (Reprise)
I have nothing against the first version, but I love the lyrics much more in this version and the scene itself is better too. Ariel may be my least favorite Disney Princess, but this song is amazing.
5. Magic Of Love
Since this song is slightly underrated in my opinion I'll give you the link to the song: link
Anyway I love this song so much, I love how some of the scenery shown is from the first movie and as you probably have heard that I love the 2nd movie more than the 1st movie, but it's amazing to see parts of the scenery from the 1st movie.
4. Once Upon A December
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, the song always gives me goosebumps and the scene is beautifully drawn. Her voice is amazing which also makes the song so amazing.
3. Soon
This song is beautiful, the song may be short, but it has some beautiful lyrics. The scene is also beautifully done, I love how Thumbelina is dancing and walking around, it's also at this point that we learn that she's the type that waits paitently for her prince and longs to meet him which is pretty cool considering that this movie is from 1994.
2. Belle (Reprise)
Like Reflection this is a very relatable song which I love. It's pretty weird that I have this song so high up despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of Belle's voice, but overall a great song in a beautiful scene, but there's a song that wins over this one.
1. Someday My Prince Will Come
Well it shouldn't be a surprise if you know me. This song is very beautiful and the lyrics are beautiful especially during the 2nd verse. If there's one version of this song that I love almost as much as the original it would have to be Tiffany Thorton's version, you should check the music video if you haven't done it already. This song is a true classic and is also one of the most memorable Disney Songs along with When You Wish Upon A Star and several other Disney Songs.
