3x06 promo

After Damon said that he would make sure nobody hurts Elena especially not Stefan...why did he suddenly grab Elena?

was it because thay where in danger and he was trying to protect her?

I think Damon is trying to teach Elena how to protect herself. The promo does show Elena practicing with a stake. Plus, things in promos aren't always in order chronologically. He probably does not grab her right after he says that.

kk thanx :) I'm am dieing to see that episode it looks so good, but in England the Hybrid airs tonight so we are way far behind lolx Its a good thing that i've already watched allthe episodes on youtube till 3x06 I just couldn't wait that looong XD
