Belle was starting to worry. Belle's Father, Maurice, had never been this late home. Belle mounted her horse and searched for her father, finally finding a palace. Belle knocked on the door as she approached the palace. An ugly creature opened the door.

"I'm Quasimodo." he introduced himself.

Quasimodo entered the palace.

Belle was terrified and followed Quasimodo. In a short time, Belle saw her father tied up on the ground and couldn't help but be angry.

"You...why did you do this to my father...?" she stammered in fear.

Quasimodo got closer to Belle.

"He stole my food!" he roared.

Belle stared at her father. Well, even if Belle's father stole the food, the creature called Quasimodo had to give her back her father.

"I.. I can pay for what he stole. For example, if I were your prisoner. Better than a fat old man."

Quasimodo studied Belle's beautiful face and smiled in satisfaction.
"You are so beautiful. Stay with me forever. Then I will leave your father."

Maurice shook his head no and struggled, but Belle had made up her mind. His old father could not bear such a life. Belle, on the other hand.. She would do anything if she had a book with her. She spoke in a sharp tone of voice.

"Yes. I'll be your prisoner. Just leave my father alone."

The square was always crowded on Reaping Day, the adults and children crowded in an eager frenzy around the stage as if it contained a fantastic present instead of four enormous glass spheres. Two of the globes were empty, but the other two were filled to the brim with slips of paper. I can think of nothing but my name in that sphere, only one of thousands but still so available. My mother pulls me along faster, muttering something about being late.

Finally, we drew next to the stage, on top of which twelve victors fill thirteen folded...

Belle felt nervous as she pushed open the door marked Pool. She didn’t know whether you were allowed in the pool area fully dressed, but then she spotted Meg a little way away, reclining on a white plastic sun-lounger as the boys splashed around like mad fools. Well, almost all the boys.

“Yeeha!” crowed Hercules, showing off his prowess by wrestling with one of the giant inflatable dinghies. John laughed as he was splashed and then laughed even harder seeing Aladdin with his hair all over his face.
