Did Ella Enchanted get its name of Cinderella and the movie Enchanted cause there was a movie called this before?

Ella is short for Ellanore but it's also word-play off of Cinderella. The movie is called Ella Enchanted because of her curse not because of the disney movie. Besides, this movie came first. If you want to know more about it then read the book but I'll warn you that it is quite a bit different.
