End of Part 79:

Edward's POV:

Bella pushed the leaves aside, and I stood beside her as I peered down at the unfamiliar girl kneeling there. Bella gasped; the small child looked up.

The first thing I noticed was how her huge, sad, chocolate brown eyes were exactly the same as Bella's had been when she was human.

Suddenly, for one second, I felt a vague recognition... but it dissappeared as soon as it had came, so I could no longer remember what I remembered about her.

Part 80:

Edward's POV:

There was a moment of silence as Bella and the small girl gazed at each other. I felt I was missing something.

The girl's thoughts were full of joy and hope. She couldn't put her feelings into words, though, so I had no idea what was making her so excited.

Bella's voice broke the charged silence. She spoke so quietly, her shock muting her voice.

"Nessie?"

I growned inwardly. She thought this child was Renesmee. Oh, no.

"Nessie, is it you?" Bella continued.

My eyes flickered toward the girl, prepared for shock, maybe even fear to be showing in her eyes. She was human after all. Even if she didn't smell quite normal for a human...

But the girl replied, and she didn't look - or sound - scared. In fact, she sounded... joyfull? No. That wasn't possible... was it?

"Yes," She breathed. "Yes, yes! Yes, I am!"

What? She was... Renesmee? What? I was confused, shocked, and more than a little scared.

Bella grabbed the girl - I couldn't believe she was actually Renesmee, the fictional character Bella had dreamed up - and swung her up into her arms, spinning the child around.

"Oh, Nessie!" Bella cried. "Nessie, I'm so glad to see you!"

This lasted for a few minutes, while I tried to understand what was going on. I had just come to the practically impossible conclusion that Renesmee was real; we had all forgotten her, as Bella had claimed, when Bella turned to look at me.

She looked nervous, almost scared. I looked from... Renesmee to Bella, and - not wanted to upset the girl or Bella - tried to smile. I doubted it was convincing. My mystification probably showed on my face.

Bella sighed, then I watched as she frowned in concentration.

Suddenly, I was inside her head.

You don't remember... She thought sadly. Do you think you ever will?

I forced a laugh, worried about scaring the small girl, Nessie.

I wrapped my arm gently around Bella, wanting to comfort her.

"Give me time, love." I soothed. "I'm sure it will pass."

Oh, Renesmee thought. They're talking about me.

Then she reached her hand out toward me.

"Maybe this'll help." She said as she pressed her warm palm against my neck.

Seeing what she showed me wasn't that unusual to me. But the way that she showed me, by pressing her hand to my neck, was strange.

I didn't expect it, so I gasped unwillingly.

She showed me what seemed to be her memories. Memories of her with us, her with Bella, her with... Jacob. I felt a fury at that. Especially when she was alone with Jacob.

And it all came flooding back, forcing the anger away. I remembered how Bella had almost died for this child, how Jacob had imprinted on her, how everyone who saw Nessie loved her, cared for her. And I remembered how the Volturi had come for her. I remembered everything.

Despite how horrible some of these memories were, I felt an overwhelming joy. Renesmee was my daughter. And now she was back here, safe, with Bella and I. Our family was complete once again.

Jemima’s POV:

The blonde tried to reason with me again. I charged for him, but he dodged neatly. The girl was crying again. That was really getting on my nerves. I spun to face her, a growl ripping through my teeth. She sobbed louder; I stalked towards her.

“I. Told. You. To. Shut. Up.”

I knelt down in front of her, placing my hands on either side of her head.

“Please,” she whimpered. “Please, leave me alone.”

“Fat chance.” I whispered, before squashing her head between my hands. Her skull wasn’t has hard as a vampire’s; it squished beneath my fingers like...

Jodie’s POV:

“I’m sorry,” he murmured.

I didn’t need his apologies; he had nothing to apologise for. If there was one thing that pissed me off, if was people apologising for no reason. I shrugged him off.

“Don’t be. It’s my fault. I was stupid enough to tell someone… someone who I thought I could trust. I was wrong. I couldn’t trust anyone. Not even Ariel, in the end...”

Then I felt stupid. Stupid for thinking he would help me. Stupid for thinking that I could get over it. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I dived into the pool, swimming away. Fred...

Cassandra's POV:

I was on my feet and running, before I even realized what I was doing. I tore through the trees, knowing that no matter sort of recpetion I got, I had to see Mariella.

I had to apologize, not that it would make up for anything.

In the back of my mind, almost buried behind my need to see Mariella and my wishes that she wouldn't hate me anymore, I hoped that they'd found Renesmee.

It’s Leah, so... beware sarcasm and swearing.

End of Part 186:

Leah’s POV:

Leah, Jake thought. Stop making sarcastic comments, this is serious! If Ivan kills them, he might come for us!

I growled at that thought, along with Seth and Jacob. No over-muscled Russian sparkle-pants comes after my brother and my friend and gets away with. He may have a stupid accent that he thinks makes him sound like a bad-ass Mafia dude, but I’ve got claws and I aint afraid to use ‘em.

“Why are they going there, Alice?” Jasper asked.

Every time I see him and Alice together, it cracks me up. He’s tall,...

Alice’s POV:

Eventually, when the cave had fallen silent, I opened my eyes. Jasper stood facing the fire with his back to me. The muscles in his neck and arms were tight, and his fists were clenched. So I went to his side and took his hand. He gazed down at me, brushing his fingertips across my...

Mariella’s POV:

We were going to go through with the plan. God help us, we were going to go through with it.

Three months later…

The castle was dark, and for once I wished I didn’t have super vision. I wished I couldn’t see in the dark as clearly as I could in the light. I wished I couldn’t see Ivan.

We were sitting on the luxury sofa, as he sat on an armchair opposite us. I didn’t know why he bothered with the whole friendly pretence. Cassandra and I knew that it was all a façade and he knew that we did. Yet he still insisted on talking to us like we were old friends. I...

So, I’m really annoyed right now so I should be able to write Jasper’s POV really well…

End of Part 164:

Jasper’s POV:

“Alice,” I croaked again, my eyes nearly opening… I saw a glimpse of her: huge eyes, filled with shock and hope and joy; pink lips, half way between an “o” of astonishment and a smile of delight.

Next time that the light faded, letting me see, I resisted the whiteness that tried to take Alice from my view. I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists and fought it. It was hard, but I managed to do it; the longer amount of time that I kept Alice in my sight, the...

I’ve got a new character to introduce… and I can’t write from anyone else’s POV… so, here goes. Meet Jemima!

Part 166:

Jemima’s POV:

I met him at the bar. I couldn’t believe my luck.

The pub is terrible; the only people that go there are fat, middle-aged men and a few students from the local college. Obviously, they aren’t from round here – any student from round here knows that the pub is a bad idea. The students don’t often come more than once. The only ones that stick around are the ones who are like younger versions of the regulars: vulgar, sexist pigs who try to choke...

Mariella’s POV:

That was why I was doing this: for him, for his eyes, for his hair, for his hand in mine, for his kiss, for his voice, for his scent, for his life: for us. I couldn’t back down now, despite the fact that I was petrified.

I pulled away from Cassandra, opening my eyes. The castle looked different to me now: I was glad of it; I was hungry for siege. Bloodlust boiled within me, pulling my lips back so my teeth were bared.

“Mariella?” Cassandra whispered, alarmed and confused by the change in me.

“Come on,” I hissed, holding out my hand without glancing...

Carl’s POV:

My mother’s reply was slow, deliberated, and full of revulsion. “Now, you listen to me, whatever your name is-“

“Mariella,” I hissed, not letting this go any further. “Her name is Mariella. And you’d better get used to it!”

With that, I turned and led Mariella - with Jodie still gripping her hand – away from the watching crowd, down the tunnel and out into Willow Pool.

I didn’t know what was coming next. I didn’t know if it would be heated, furious revenge, or a cold, calculated murder. I did know one thing, though: if Mariella and I went down,...

Of course, she was the most beautiful, glorious, amazing, sweet, kind-hearted person I had ever met…but I had never loved anyone apart from my mother. And this was a different love entirely.

This was powerful love that ruled your mind and consumed your soul. This love knocked you down every time you felt it. This love was inescapable; hypnotizing… this love could kill you in an instant. But it was also your life source, your reason for being. Without it, you will surely die. Without...

A few more moments passed, and then the male vampire turned to face us. He smiled, his expression friendly. He spoke, and his english was layered thickly with a spanish accent.

"I should introduce myself. I am Rodrigo. I have been searching for Cassandra for a hundred years, ever since she was taken from me by..."

I waited, worried that whatever he would say might be the provocation for Jasper to attack.

Everyone gasped, including me. Ivan? There was more to the monster than met the eye, clearly. His evil deeds much stretch back centuries,...

Drip-drop, drip-drop

The rain pattered against the roof of the deserted house. A few drops leaked through the hole where one of the tiles had once been, but had long sicne fallen down onto the ground below. The water droplets landed on the toe of my battered shoe.

We burst through the trees into a small clearing, falling quickly into a loose V shape. Edward, Jasper and Emmett up front; Carlisle and Rosalie just behind them, then me, then Esme and Bella with Renesmee.

The wolves spread out around the clearing, slinking slowly along the edge of the trees. Sunlight glistened off the small pool on the left side of the clearing; the light dance din strange ways over the sparkles on her skin as she glared up at us.

Her brown hair was wild and curly about her thin, pale face, which was stained with streaks of blood. Her eyes were...

“I don’t want an explanation!” I screamed, kicking the couch back so he fell to the floor.

He jumped to his feet but I kicked him down, throwing myself on top of him.

“You promised,” I hissed in his ear. “You promised, you prick!”

He was kissing her. Kissing her!

Fury was like all the major natural disasters rolled into one. It hit me like a tsunami; it hit them like a volcanic eruption; it turned me into a hurricane.

I didn’t have time for her now; I could deal with her later. I grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and tossed her out; the bang as she hit the floor was satisfying, but not satisfying enough.

“Hello,” I replied. I was nervous; I hadn’t met anyone new in the bar for years, and he was very different from the normal lot in here. But, I also felt strangely grateful to him for being there.

Mariella’s POV:

After this was all over, if I made it out alive and I could go back to my beloved Carl, I would take Cassandra to meet him. This was something my human mother should have been able to do. She should’ve been able to meet my first love and feel proud of me. I felt guilty denying her of that opportunity; and I felt greedy for taking two mothers. I began to make a list of where I would go when it was safe again.

First, Carl. I would spend time with him, and introduce him to Cassandra.

Second, I would go back home, to Canada, and see Louise. She would be so scared;...

I didn’t have to wait long.

Moments later, in a last desperate attempt, Alice threw Rodrigo off Jasper, her strength failing her as she slumped. The Spanish fiend rolled across the stone floor, jumping up again as soon as he could. His teeth were bared, a growl ripping between them. I turned toward...

But, finally, I found his future, and I knew where he was. Instantly, I wished I hadn’t. In all my years as the village’s Prophet (since I was thirteen, so a hundred years)...
