I saw that ROTGgirl2004 wrote something like this, so I thought I'd give it a shot. This is the story of my 'conversion' to Hetalia.

I grew up watching Veggietales. Plain and simple. Veggietales. Then I discovered the internet. At that time, I didn't have the slightest idea what a fandom was. I had never read a fanfiction in my life. Then I stumbled upon Deviantart- and the Veggietales fandom.

I was naturally excited to discover that there were other people who liked the same things I did. So I set out to see all the Veggietales fanart and read all the fanfiction I possibly could. By now your probably wondering what this has to do with Hetalia. You see, Veggietales led me to Hetalia- although in a rather indirect manner.

One day I had finished a chapter of a fanfiction and was just staring at the recommended section, resting my eyes for a second. Then one word caught my eye. 'What's a... Hetalia?' I wondered. I moved past the strange word, yet every time I read a Veggietales fanfiction it came back to haunt me in the recommended section. Hetalia. What did it mean?

Later, I also discovered Fanfiction.net. Quickly finishing all the Veggietales fics on the website, I moved on to find a few other fandoms.

One day I chanced to come upon a Veggietales and Sword Art Online crossover. Curious, I clicked. It sounded interesting, although I had no idea what it was. I read the few chapters it contained, my interest piqued. Still confused to what it actually was, I later decided to look for a Sword Art Online fanfiction section. The problem was, I didn't know what order to search for it in! Was it a cartoon, or the storyline of an actual game? Or... maybe it was an anime? Exactly what was anime, anyway? It was that Japanese drawing style, that kind Japan used for their cartoons, wasn't it? I searched and found what I was looking for under Anime/Manga. So it was anime....

Scrolling upwards through the list, I wondered at the many foreign characters next to the strange names. Coming to the top, I noticed that the third most popular anime did not, in fact, have Japanese lettering next to it's title. 'Hetalia: Axis Powers'. There it was again! That weird word, why did I feel as if I had seen it before? My curiosity was once again aroused. "Click!"

I cautiously opened the first fanfic on the list. Skimming it, I noticed something odd. The characters seemed to be the personifications of countries! 'What a great idea!' I thought with interest. 'That's neat! So someone took the different countries of the world and made a Japanese cartoon about them?'

I left, occasionally returning to scroll through the list and wonder about this anime called Hetalia. Then later, I found Quotev. 'Cool! It's another website for fans and stuff!'

A few weeks later, I opened the main page of Quotev. The recommended quizzes section had a Hetalia quiz in it. 'Hetalia... oh, I know what that is! Isn't that that anime thing with all the different countries in it?' "Click!"

One quiz led to another, and soon I was starting to be sucked in.

I have been having serious writer’s block and I don’t know what to do next. So go check it out,for I have posted a notice on the last chapter. Anyway, this story takes us back in the midst of WWII in Europe June 6th 1944, the day the Allies stormed the French beach of Normandy to surprise the Germans. This format will be in journal entries of Alfred, Arthur, and Matthew, the 3 countries who paricipated. It may skip...

~Hungary~

When I got home, I changed into night clothes and crawled into bed. Austria was already asleep, facing the opposite wall. The next morning he went straight to his piano and wouldn't let anyone approach him.

I think that Italy noticed how upset I was. He did his work twice as fast as normal, and he kept doing little extra things for me, like picking flowers. It was both sweet and heartbreaking. How could he know me better than my own husband?

I kept wondering about my meeting with Prussia. Did I know? Did I know why he called me there? I couldn't think of the reason, but I realized something....

Maybe I'm writing this more out of newfound frustration, but...

Let's be frank, here, we need a rule for the fandom. There really should be a rule where preteens under thirteen or people with some sort of onset Paracosm shouldn't be on ANY fandom, let alone Hetalia, because I swear I'll blow a freaking gasket the next time I hear a rape joke or someone whining and bitching that they don't like a ship. That's little kids stuff. If you have to giggle about rape or trash others for liking a pairing or just "liking some eye candy," (as if satisfying oneself sexually through a fictional fantasy pairing is against some anime law, user-who-won't-be-named) then no fandom is for you, dear, sorry...

Overrated?
Overrated?
Many female nations are so underrated, and I decided, since I have many female characters that I've liked, I would just sum it all up for you.

5. Seychelles
I don't like Seychelles that much; but not to the point I hate her with a burning passion. It's just that; many people treat her like a mary-sue. Yes. MARY-SUE. I'm not trying to rant on and on about her flaws. It's just that there is something about her personality and vibe that just... annoys me. Her "sweet" personality? A little cheesy to me.
But then again, let's talk about the good things about her. First of all, she is sweet and funny,...

It was a sunny morning and Italy had just finished adding the last touches to his new pasta restaurant, now he was ready to open his restaurant doors. "I can't wait to see all the a-costumers who will come to eat a-my pasta",said Italy delighted. "Although they will probably get here at around noon but I'll open the doors anyway, a-just to let the fresh air in" Italy announced. Italy was about to grab the handles when all of a sudden Prussia appeared O.o "Ahhh" Yelled Italy, for about three minutes."Prussia what are you doing here so early?" asked Italy. "I'm here because I wanted to be the...
