Meanwhile, House is at his apartment getting ready when all of a sudden his bell rings.

House limps to the front door and opens it. Erica is standing there wearing a very stunning red dress.


House: Wow!

Erica chuckles.

Erica: You don’t look half bad yourself in that tux.

House: I aim to please.

Erica: Good! So, if you are done gawking at me, would you maybe care to invite me in.

House: Of course

House motions for her to come in

Erica: This is a very nice place you have here.

House: Thanks.

Just at that moment, Erica notices House's piano.

Erica: Wow! What a beautiful piano. Do you mind if I play something on it?

House: No, be my guest. We've got about 10 minutes to spare.

Erica: Great!

Erica then goes over to the piano, and sits on the bench and begins to sing and play the melody to the 1991 Academy Award winning song, " Sooner or Later (I always get my man)" from the movie Dick Tracy.

Erica: (singing)"Sooner or later you're going to be mine,

Once Erica is finished House begins to clap.

House: As the Italians would say, Bravo!

Erica smiles at House

Erica: Thank you.

House: Now, tell me why did you pick that song?

Erica: I don’t know, you tell me, oh, great genius!

House: I get the Impression that you want me.

Erica gives House a smirk.

Erica: Maybe

House: You know my bedroom is just around the corner.

Erica chuckles and holds up her finger and waves it back and forth in front of House's face.

Erica: Tisk! Tisk! Greg that would be breaking the rules

House: Oh, how so?

Erica: When you take a girl out, you're supposed to wine and dine her first, and then, seduce her, not the other way around.

House: I don’t really do rules. They only cramp my style.

Erica: I’m quite aware of that, based on your reputation.

House laughs

House: Yes, my good old reputation. It is quite notorious, isn’t it!

Erica: Yes, it is, which brings up another matter.

House: Oh, and what might that matter be?

Erica: I’m quite aware that because of your reputation, nobody but Cuddy would hire you. That is true, isn’t it?

House looks away.

House: Yes, it's true.

Erica: Well then, that's about to change!

House looks up at Erica

House: What do you mean?

Erica: Do I need to spell it out for you, Greg? I want you to come and work for me! If you do come work for me, I will pay you twice as much as what Cuddy is paying you now, and throw in a billing accountant who will take care of all your medical billing problems, so you don't have to worry about them anymore.

House chuckles.

House: Wow, that sound's tempting! Does the package include you as well?

Erica gives house a very seductive look.

Erica: Possibly

House: Well, in that case, I will really need to consider your offer!

Erica laughs

Erica: That's fine. You don’t have to decide now, but I thought I should give you some food for thought over dinner. Speaking of food, if we don’t get going, we will miss our dinner reservation.

House: Ah, yes, I guess we should be going then.

With that, House and Erica get up from where they are sitting and exit House's apartment.
